I originally brought my 4-month-old puppy, Sadie, in for a bath and sanitary trim, following my vet's advice since her adult coat hasn't fully grown in yet. On Wednesday, I was told the bath and sanitary trim couldn't be done because there was mild matting on her feet--despite the fact that I brush her daily. I was told her body was fine, but that she would need a puppy trim, which I then booked for Saturday because they couldn't accommodate us that day (after driving 20 minutes to get there). When I returned on Saturday, a different groomer checked her in and suddenly claimed Sadie had matting all over her body and needed a full cut. This directly contradicted what I was told just days earlier--that her body was fine and only her feet were an issue. Nothing had changed between Wednesday and Saturday. What made this more concerning was a comment mentioned to me that PetSmart often claims matting to justify charging a higher grooming fee. I truly hope that's not the case, but the inconsistency between groomers raised red flags. I specifically booked with Karol after seeing a positive review about her, and I'm hoping the service itself reflects that reputation. However, the conflicting information, multiple appointments, and lack of consistency made this a stressful experience--especially as a new puppy owner just trying to do the right thing. I expected clearer communication and consistency across staff. Pro: you can pretty much anything you need for your pup.

THEY BROKE MY DOGS JAW…read more My friend recently went dropped off his dog for grooming and then when it was time to pick him up the dog, he was not groomed at all. Thinking they canceled the appointment due to nervousness or a bad reaction he took the dog home. The dog began exhibiting signs of immense pain causing my friend to take him to the emergency vet, where 700$ later they found out the jaw of the animal had been completely broken! My friend who was unable to cover the extensive reconstruction surgery was forced to euthanize his dog. no explanation or apology from woof gang. I felt it was important to report so that small Dogs could avoid attending this facility, until this issue has been resolved. I am encouraging my friend to file a police report.

Not to mention the smell and the cleanliness of this place the dust everywhere I get it some products don't get used often or you have a stock pile but removing them and cleaning up it is not that difficult. I've worked in Customer Service for basically my entire life, and while the gentleman was kind of nice was also very condescending like he knew everything. The problem with that is if you knew everything, the shop would not look the way it looked considering we were told that it was a family owned business, and he was part of the family. I would think you know you would have a little bit of say about how these animals are kept. I am always presently surprised when they announce I have a $5 credit to use. The manager and staff will share your status on points and I find they want to help me find the right merchandise at a price I can afford. This chain is big on philanthropic pet causes. They have a bin to collect pet related food and merchandise which is donated to pet shelters. They feature a rescue cat for adoption. Presently they are collecting donations to assist the Orlando/Sanford Pet Alliance after a devastating fire that consumed the shelter. The store was super clean and organized - you wouldn't think that this was a pet store. The cats were sleeping and birds were chirping. All very healthy and peaceful. Zachary helped me find some hairball treats without having to look around the store. Saved me a lot of time to head back to my senior cat and give him the aid he needs.
