This is one of my two go-to PetSmart stores. The brand of cat food and cat treats that I use is usually stocked here when I can't find it elsewhere. Someone, usually on of the cashiers, usually greets customers with a "welcome" as we come in the door. It is usually not busy when I come in so I can get in and out fairly quickly. Often, the cashier is cooperative to do a price match especially when their online store has a better price. I'm usually only quickly visiting 1 or 2 of the aisles but it always appears to be neat and clean here. read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of my girlfriend because she is too nice to do it herself. She placed an online order for two fish tanks and one bag of substrate. When she arrived at the store, she was given one tank and the substrate which she loaded in her car while the store employees looked in the back for the second tank. She was eventually told that the tank was "too far in the back" and she would have to return the next day to pick it up. She was also forced to go back to her car and return the other tank and substrate which she had already paid for, per their policy apparently. She returned to the store today and was told they did not have the second tank in stock. Clearly, they lied to her yesterday about it being too far to reach. They also forced her to return to the store to get the first tank which she had already paid for and loaded in her car the day prior. None of this makes sense, and when she raised the issue with the manager, they couldn't even be bothered to give her an apology for their incompetence. I will strongly suggest to my girlfriend that she never return to this store. read more

I have been getting my dog groomed at this location for years and the service is typically hit or miss. I took him this week and had one of the best experiences to date. The groomer seemed to have a real passion for her job and was very knowledgeable. She even gave me pointers on how to keep my grooming costs down. I will definitely continue to use their services. read more

This particular location of PetSmart is located on East Colonial Drive just across from the Fashion Square Mall. Is located next door to the Aldi and behind the Smokey Bones restaurant in the shopping plaza across the street from Fashion Square Mall. PetSmart is a national chain that sells pet products and services. The company began in 1986 in Phoenix, Arizona and have since opened locations throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. This location is conveniently located to both Baldwin Park, downtown Orlando and anyone who commutes on East Colonial Drive (State Road 50) just east of downtown Orlando. Since it is in a spacious shopping plaza, parking is not an issue. The staff is friendly and it was an overall positive experience. I will give it five stars. read more

i dropped my Scottish Terrier off at this location and they completely shaved his face. This means they shaved his eyebrows and beard, which includes all of his sensory whiskers. They also cut/nicked above his eye. I am not happy with his appearance. read more

Went this morning for scheduled grooming for both puppies. As they were taking one of my pups back the other one hit the counter and popped a pimple that they had. It had a tiny bit of blood. A mean it wiped away.It happened when we were checking it. The young lady said she couldn't groom her bc it was an open sore. The open portion which is not as deep as the nicks that they have done to my pups in previous visits. Two hours later you can't even see where the pimple was. I took them both back. I have been going there for years but never again. I asked what would have happened if the pimple popped when they were grooming. They said they would have called me to get her. I understand an open wound but a pimple. Yikes. They have had a lot of turnover but they need to hire employees with common sense. This young lady had none. read more

i got there with my dog and the employees were extremely rude and refused to bathe or cut my dogs hair they said that his hair was far to tangled (it wasn't) and his fur was too long (like aren't I supposed to bring him to groom with a professional if his hair is long?) they said he was aggressive (he isn't, he was just shy) they didn't even try to make friends with him or try to make him comfortable. 1 STAR. read more

Options are a plenty here at this location on East 50. I doubt you'd find out difficult to locate what you need, but that being said, you'll want to know what you're looking for. Staff is mostly either at the register or at Banfield in the back. If you're a regular shopper and don't need the assist, you'll be just fine. Clearance and sale items are mostly dispersed in the sections throughout the store, however, there are a couple of bins in the back and right up by the registers for clearance as well. Pricing is decent if you catch a special and / or have a store perks card. Overall: B Solid store options. Could use more staff throughout store for anyone needing help. read more

Your typical Petsmart Store with a variety of selections for all sorts of pets. Convenient locations, basically across the street from the Fashion Square Mall. As usual with Petsmart, prices are high when comparable to Petco. Then again, selection is wider. Staff seems scarce on this location and the layout is bit different. Not liking the layout since it seems a bit disorganized, but it still has the same products as any other Petsmart, so worth checking out if you are a regular at Petsmart. read more

Love the convenience and ease of ordering online and picking up. I ordered some dog food, Simply Nourish, two days before I picked up. (You can order 5 days out, no more than that.) While doing some errands, I stopped in, walked right up to a team member at the register. (If they are busy, they have a spot that you go to and they will assist you from there.) I gave my name and signed the tablet. She handed me the dog food, after she asked if I needed help out, and off I went. It was easy breezy. 3232 E Colonial location - This was my first experience using Petsmart veterinary clinic. Dr Keener and staff (especially Sharon) were the greatest! My rescue Beagle was bit in the mouth and they saw her immediately. She then returned a week later for a growth removal and dentistry. They were very fair priced and did an excellent and caring job. I came here after going to the Petco downtown to pick up stuff for my new kitten and the petco is great for the basics, but if you want a lot of options for something, this place has a way better selection. It's in a strip plaza too by a luckys market which makes for a convenient two birds with one stone stop of me! Personally, I think PetSmart is a bit expensive especially compared to online prices but they will have what you need. One word.... disorganized! Showed up for my cat's grooming appt. I was told that they are really busy and not sure who made the appt since the groomer apparently does not take cats on weekends. Then I was told she would only do underbelly trim. I told her that I made an appt for full body trim and bath. I was told that they do not provide that service and the person made the appt did not know plus they are short staffed, and that I can leave her there but it would be at least a 4 hour wait. I come here on weekends to bring kitties up for adoption. The adoption group at this PetSmart is Cats Are My Live Inc. we are a not for profit rescue. All people with the group are volunteers. We're here every Saturday and Sunday I buy all of my cat food here. They always have a good supply with a lot of variety. Get a Petperks card. It saves you a lot of money. Also register your pets on line and they'll send you coupons for free treats for their birthday. PetSmart takes competitors coupons - which is a good thing to know. I just found out a couple of months ago The store is always clean and employees are very friendly You might want to buy toys and litterboxes elsewhere. Convenient location near Fashion Square Mall off E. Colonial. I don't really frequent Petsmart since they don't carry the brand of dog food that we feed our pups. I did stop by recently since they e-mailed several "birthday" coupons for some of our pups for a free treat with purchase. I was able to buy a few Halloween costumes (all on sale) and picked up some nylabones as almost free treats(we exceeded the $4 max for each). They have a great selection of toys and doggiewear as well as items for cats, birds, fish, etc. When they mark down items, I try to check those sales out. Especially after the holidays when they have so much overstock and are just trying to get rid of for cheap. This location also has a veterinary clinic on site and full grooming services which we do not use. And they also offer obedience classes for dogs but I believe those are only held certain times a year. I was also told that they do take competitors coupons so that's a plus. read more

Today I walk in they tell me they "probably" won't be able to handle my 2 dogs because they are challenging and need 2 groomers. But this PetSmart location is decent and it's convenient if I need to pick up something for my fur baby during lunch on a work day - it's not far from my office. While the staff is friendly and the store is full of the variety you would expect from a Petsmart, the training program is an absolute joke. We brought our new puppy to the class to learn how to deal with problem behaviors such as puppy biting. The trainer had absolutely nothing helpful to teach. She just constantly pushed the idea of giving endless treats for every little thing. Numerous times the trainer demonstrated that not only did she have no control of the dogs in her class, she had no clue how to get control of those dogs. The entire class I was fearful of an impending disaster. Bottom line if you want a location to get dog supplies toys, leashes, food, treats, etc then absolutely I would recommend them. If you are looking for training, do your research and get a real trainer with real experience. read more

The only reason why this PetsMart gets any stars is because of two specific employees. One is a vet, whose name I cannot remember, and groomer, Jessica. When my pup had an eye problem, the vet gave us a complimentary look-over and gave us hope for our pup's prognosis. The grooming department's best employee, Jessica, always takes the time to greet my dog and I when we are in the store. She is a plethora of advice and has always taken the time to look my dog over and offer any information. I called today to make an appointment with her for a Furmination and expression, which she said on an earlier basis she would do. She is currently on leave, and the lazy groomer on the phone kept beating around the bush as to why they would not want to service my dog. I ended up hanging up with them, since I got the feeling they didn't want to deal with my dog's anal glands. You're a groomer....you're supposed to deal with stuff like this. If I knew how to appropriately and effectively express my dog, I would do it myself. Jerks. I plan on contacting their management as well. If you go to this salon, only use Jessica. read more

My visit was on 02/02/2016 I was shopping around for almost an hour and not 1 employee asked me if i needed assistance I went to lift a bag of dog food from the back area next to their lunch area and a spider about the size of my palm almost walked onto my hand I went and told the associate and instead of asking if I was alright or where it was locate she said "ewww i don't know how i feel about spiders" I was in the area for another 5 minutes and not one employee came to check it out During my check out the cashier ( cashier # 532251 @ approx. 1732 hours has no customer service skills. PetSmart is a chain store so there isn't much to say about this particular location. They sell things I need so I buy them here or at Petco. I don't have preference between the two except for which is closest to my other errands. They have grooming but I have never used it at this location. Make an appointment and show proof of rabies vaccination on your first visit. I have had good luck at other PetSmart Grooming locations around the country so have no reason to think they generally employ people who love animals as much as you do. read more

The grooming salon is so nice and our dog loves going to get groomed. I love the sweet notes they put in his progress report after each visit. Took my miniature Yorkie for a wash and I feel they did not do a good job. I only paid $18.99 for it. I picked her up 40 minutes later and found her semi wet, not completely dried. Maybe I got a very inferior wash for this price? Not sure but I doubt if I will return there again read more

My comments are specific to the store on Colonial near Maquire.**** I've continued on with different dog training classes and I can't say enough how awesome Whitney is as the lead trainer. We are working on our Good Citizen Canine certification and Whitney gives each person in the class 1:1 attention to help with the problem areas of each of the dogs. She keeps her cool and stays in control of the classroom even when the dogs are going a bit nuts (3 poodle\poodle mixes in the class.. so that happens alot). Whitney ROCKS! Former Review: I've taken 2 dog training courses at the location at 50 and Maguire, the Beginners Obedience class and the Tricks class. Whitney is the main dog trainer, and she is great. I had very little control over my puppy when I first got her, and after only 4 months, that has been much improved. Classes are around $100 and generally run about 8 weeks. They offer a really good variety of classes, a range of obedience classes including service dog certification. read more

I have my poodle-spaniel mix, Lily, groomed here every so often and Megan does a great job! My pup is deathly afraid of blow-dryers so Megan takes that into consideration during a groom. The secret to Petsmart groomers is to find the one that's right for you and your animal. This location also carries a variety of chinchilla pellets, grapevine perches, et cetera, so there no end to the variety of chew toys, treats, and hay for my two furry chins. I am very happy about my first trip to this store. I had my first interaction with this store was when I called and spoke to Josh. I asked him about a cat that was up for adoption. Josh was professional and polite. When I walked in the outside of the store was run down and let go. I was disgusted by the trash can. I got to meet Josh and he was just as great in person. He was helpful and kind. I adopted my cat, josh did whatever he could to help. He made my adoption and shopping experience pleasant. read more

It's a big box store to buy your pet supplies. That being said, the staff is always friendly and greets you when you walk through the door. They seem to be changing some of the brands or products they are carrying, but I'm not sure if it's their choice or the manufacturer. Overall, I like that I can pop in pick up what I want and rarely wait in line very long before I check out. read more
