I think they did a great job on our dog. We came in one weekend for a bath and cut. They worked very quickly with our dog and, afterwards, tey even let us know that she may be allergic to something and it's affecting her skin. Cons: I'd say the only thing that was lacking was that they're not as friendly as some other pet salons we've tried out. Not bad, just more straight forward and not too much smiling. My family and I all bring our dogs here. They are amazingly sweet to all my dogs. My dogs get excited when they see them- somewhat weird but a great sign that they are kind to my pups. My dad also brings his anxious great Dane, and they are so patient and kind to him even though he's tricky. My dogs always look amazing. My Yorkie has been here several times. Today was a little different. He did not want to go in. I should've listen to him. I picked him up 4 hours later (which they did apologize for taking so long). The girl who I interacted with, is very sweet. Owner, not so much. I just noticed he has a cut by his left eye. The picture doesn't show it well but you can see redness. And tiny cuts on his belly. I've been taking our pet to Pet Salon for six years and have always been happy with the service and the grooming. Sue is the best and very professional. The shop is always clean and orderly and Sue and her staff are polite and courteous. Sue brings to my attention when she suspects that my pup might have an ear infection, which I really appreciate. She was caring when I told her my dog was recovering from a recent fall and assured me she would be gentle. I have never had a bad experience in all the years we've been using Pet Salon. I happened to be at the salon dropping off my dog on the day the disgruntled customer came running out after her dog (10/5/17). I wouldn't pay any attention to the review she left. I've never had a problem with my dog running out the door as I leave her leash on until I hand her over to Sue or the other groomer. The pets are secure behind the counter. read more
