Love shopping here usually. Recently every single time I go stuff I'm looking for is always out of stock. I'll go multiple times in a week for weeks straight and it still will be out of stock. Got some salmon oil for my dog loved it but it's never in stock whenever i go back. I like to buy beef cheek rolls for my dog will drive out of my way to get them. Always out of stock. Drove to a completely different pet station everything out of stock too. I always ask and I'm met with the same oh well unfortunately it's just whenever they decide to send us stuff. Going to have to take my business elsewhere for stuff especially like supplements which disappoints me because I'd like to support a local business. Just wish stock was more consistent!! read more

We went in first thing this morning to use the dog wash station but only made it in about 10 feet before we left due to the smell of the store. I have encountered this same smell the last several times I have gone in to pick up treats and toys. It smells like dirty animal. read more

Interesting mix of staff. One man is a manager and is super helpful. Even though he uses a wheelchair, he took us right to the items we needed. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. Young people on staff are all helpful. One man is walking around dressed like a homeless man with a manbun - he offered some assistance and I was not sure he was even an employee. He was so abrupt that I wondered if he had just wandered into the store. Not sure he should be allowed to work out of uniform. Kinda freaked me out. I like the store and shop there regularly - I think they might need to be more consistent. read more

This branch is the cleanest one that I've been to. Their dog wash station is neat and tidy and the dog sinks are next to each other and that helped our two dogs see each other easily to avoid them from getting anxiety. The staffs are also friendly and helped us whenever we need to. read more

I have to start with I'm a local guy, meaning I attempt to shop local for everything, we will not eat at chain restaurants, even when we travel, and I travel often for work. We strive to do the same with other products and services. However, I just can't support a local business when the product prices are so much more expensive. Last week, I needed to purchase Pill Pockets for our dog. I happened to be at Sprouts next door, so I went in. I'll keep it simple: I paid $16.23 at Pet Station for the same product that is on Chewy.com for $8.96, or $5.82 if it's on autoship. Chewy delivers directly to my door, no gas, no lines, direct to my door. We always hear support local, support bricks and mortar, but this just doesn't make any sense. read more

This Pet Station always has the food we buy our doggies and it is high quality food that is great for their coats and overall wellness. The staff always greets you when you come in and very helpful when you have questions. I love the do-it-yourself dog wash stations as you can walk your doggie into the wash basin that is a more comfortable height for you. They provide shampoo and conditioner and you pay once you're finished. Definitely recommend checking them out. read more

My review is for the pet wash station. I brought my dog here after a hike because I didn't have extra energy for cleaning up mud and hair all over my bathroom. As compared to dropping him off at a grooming place, it's much cheaper and faster. $15/wash or 5 washes for $50 which saves you lots of money if you're a regular. This station had a ramp leading up to the wash sink. There was a leash that I used to anchor my dog down and it was very helpful. I love that you can preset the temperature of the water and have it that consistent temperature with the use of a valve. The shampoo and conditioner are great and left my dog smelling and feeling fresh. There's also a adjustable blow dryer if your dog is used to it. Towels, aprons and brushes are available. We loved our experience and the kids even got a chance to help out. As for the store, it's not as extensive as pet smart and petco, a bit smaller and lacking actual animals but it has a pretty good selection of food and toys. All of the workers were super friendly. It's nice knowing there's a wash station nearby whenever I need it. read more

My husband and our two fur babies LOVE this store. It is always stocked with everything we need and our babies want. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help, but not in an annoying way. They even have a pet washing station that has everything you need - all you need to bring is your pet! One thing that really stands out to me, and I never thought I would ever need, is their return policy for food. We have bought the same food many times, but just learned some ingredients are contributing to our pitty's allergies. I remembered their policy and called to confirm it was true. When my husband and I brought the 1/2 full bag to the store, no questions were asked and a full refund was credited to our credit card. Wow! So easy! Oh, and Amy and Karen explained that the remaining (perfectly good) food will not be wasted - it gets donated! I like this place to get something for my dog after a swim or training session as a reward. So I go in to shop, not get unwanted bad advice from an employee. My dog trainer would've lost it at the bad advice she was telling me. I wish I refuted her, but I just wanted to buy my stuff and get out. Just a condescending unnecessary interaction, and I worry about other bad unprofessional training advice she's telling other customers now. read more

I gave them 3 stars, but my rating isn't "A-OK". I think they leave a bit to be desired. We stopped by on a Monday, when the opening is supposed to be 10:00am. It was about 10:15 and the doors were locked, and it was dark inside with no one to be seen, and no one answered a knock/pound on the door. We really needed to use the wash stations, so we got something to eat and were going to wait until we were done to see if they would open. About 10:45am the "Open" light popped on. The wash stations were unoccupied, which made sense since they just opened. They are convenient and you can wash standing up, easing strain on the back. Unfortunately, the hose was barely picking up any shampoo. We had that problem before so we brought our own. But then it came to conditioner, it felt like none was coming out - just felt like slightly hard water. We had bought a multi-wash card on a previous visit, and it wasn't bad enough to ask for a refund, but we doubt we will re-enlist. read more

We visited Pet Station to get our 2 year old a fish after seeing how much she loved the ones at school. The staff was helpful with showing us their betta fish, helping us choose a tank and supplies, and overall education of bettas as we've never had one. Our fish is happy, healthy and social! We were very pleased with our visit and purchase. Our daughter named the fish Guapo and he is very loved. We'll definitely return! read more

They carry the healthy brands we trust to give our furbabies and provide great service while doing so. My fur children, and scaly children, are extremely important to me. After working for Pet Food Express in California, I learned a lot about various products and quality standards in the pet industry. Let me say, Pet Station carries some excellent lines of treats, food, toys, supplements and more. I'm not sure if they train as PFE did their staff, but they are sweet and amazing at Pet Station. So this is a general review for all, but this new store is quite nice. It's big and open inside, which helps make it feel inviting and not claustrophobic. If you're looking for raw, definitely stop by. This location, being new, seems to have a bigger freezer so a bit more stock. If you're looking for natural supplements for anxiety, health and more, don't even think about Petco or Petsmart. If you love your fur, or scaled, child as though they were your actual child, then join the Pet Station family and spoil the crap out of them! read more

How is Pet Station like High School? It's all about the drama. As I utilized the dog wash for the first time ever I noticed zero shampoo was being dispensed. No suds-nothing. A male employee assisted me, checking the system and notifying me that it was broken, offering to move me to another tub. My sopping wet old-lady dog didn't like that idea so I just asked him to just bring some shampoo and I would just pay for it. Strangely, this process took an unusually long time. A female employee arrived without shampoo, telling me I needed to turn the water flow up higher for the shampoo to dispense. I already had the water up 3/4 of the way with a strong spray apparent, My dog was freaked out, I was wet, my mask was wet, my glasses were wet and all I really wanted was shampoo so I could finish bathing both my dog and myself. I told her no thanks and could I just get some shampoo that I would pay for? She just turned and walked away! After another unusually long interval, the male staff returned- offering me a choice between two shampoos, incidentally each costing $18. I found that interesting...but in the interest of time as I had now been left to wait to begin bathing three different times, I chose one and started scrubbing. When finished and cleaned up my area, I I headed to the front of the store to pay. There were two people ahead of me and there was no cashier. As we all waited the female employee who had helped me silently scooted out of the front door. After a few more minutes the male staff came to the register. When it was finally my turn to check out, I asked for the item that same female staff had placed up at the counter for me when I first arrived, but the item wasn't there. He called the female staff to tell him where the item was but she did not respond. After a few more minutes a different female staff came up front in response and when he explained he needed to locate the item I was trying to purchase, she rolled her eyes and sighed and searched the front area just he had just done, as if he was somehow not well enough equipped to have looked in those very obvious spaces and seen the large dog food bowl I was trying to purchase. (OMG you are still reading this?! I am amazed because this interaction was so ridiculous I still can't believe it). So anyhow, she clearly did not find the dog bowl because it's not there. More communication amongst staff ensued as well as looks of consternation. As I waited some more, I asked the male staff if they would consider discounting the cost of the wash tub since it did not work properly. He said he felt that was fair and would ask the manager who was, lo and behold just arriving with both the mysteriously missing food bowl I had wanted to purchase and to my surprise, a stink-eye for me!!!!! Huh??!? The staff asked her about the discount and without skipping a beat she looked me straight in the eye and said, "No. You were told the soap would work if you turned up that water and you chose not to do that. That was YOUR CHOICE." Then she simply walked away to her hiding place shaking her head as I stated even her male staff told me the soap dispenser on the machine was broken. She just dismissed me completely, never once asking me about my experience or my interactions with anyone!!!! Apparently she was satisfied with whatever her teenage employee told her-whatever that might have been- and would not be entertaining any feedback from me. Well lady, I hope your teenage female employee is ALSO your best customer because I won't be back and I will certainly advise others to avoid this Pet Station as well. Yikes. I declined to purchase the bowl and treat and paid for my wash tub and over-priced shampoo thank you very much. The male staff offered me his apology and told me that I should have been given the discount. (HEY- PET STATION OWNER- IF YOU ARE READING THIS PLEASE PROMOTE THIS MALE STAFF TO STORE MANAGER BECAUSE UNLIKE THE OTHER THREE STAFF I DEALT WITH HE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL AND HE UNDERSTANDS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABOUT). I also left the remainder of the million dollar shampoo there for the next sucker who gets stuck with that same unmarked malfunctioning wash tub. Good luck to you. read more

This is exactly the pet store that South meadows needed! This store has it all from pet food, treats, toys, and their best feature for sure.... A dog wash station! Took my two dogs here today and love it. They have three kinds of shampoo (including hypoallergenic), tons of towels, brushes, dryer, literally everything you need for only $15 a dog. If you're going here to buy treats, dog food or anything pet related, I LOVE THIS STORE. When it comes to the staff, not so much. Really sad to see the customer service go downhill. The so called 'assistant manager' Ally was extremely rude and didn't even let me get me two words out before saying No. She went as far as to tell me that she only does those type of returns when people really make a fuss, as if I was the biggest inconvenience and making a show of it. The worker ringing me up looked embarrassed as all this was happening. This is the one that's less than 5 min down the street but now I'll be driving across town just to make sure I avoid that worker. Pet station as a business deserves 5 stars but as for the South Meadows location i'd stay far away as possible until they change management there. As for the "assistant manager" Ally shes awful her customer service is horrendous and the "manager" Thresea is a insult to all people who actually know how to manage a business. She was also very rude and like to talk in a condescending voice i will not be going to this location as long as those 2 things are working there.
