We did what they call "an…read moreattending" where your pet is cremated alone while you wait in a private area and can observe - obviously you don't see your pet in the flames, but you see them go in, the door is closed, the system comes on, and you can wait to get the remains back that same day. Those duties are handled by a gent named Lou who's terrific, low key, and respectful - he keeps you apprised of the process before, during and after. Both times we feel they did very well for our family in terms of sensitivity, the handling of the remains, and the final presentation. While the office staff seems to have turned over between 2019 and 2023 (and while the business apparently was sold once or twice too) the folks were consistently kind and attentive. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is pricing. When our pet was handled in an attending service 4 years ago in 2019, the cost was $150. As a result, I assumed that roughly the same price would hold. The fault here is shared because I did not point blank ask, but I was not told either until very late in the process. $548 this time! Every detail was the same, including the modest wooden box we selected. It's understandable every business needs to change pricing, but more than tripling in 4 years was a jolt, and unfortunately will likely make us look elsewhere when (heaven forbid) our next pet passes.

They brought her in right away to make sure she was getting enough oxygen and was stable, brought her back out where we waited a short time and was called into an exam room. I gave the doctor a quick explanation of what I observed and they did a few tests. She was diagnosed with Lyme's disease and is in treatment. I have seen two Vets during her treatment, and they have both been wonderful. The staff has been caring and gentle with my dog, no complaints at all. Very happy with the service.

This time after reviewing what Jake's regular meds were, the emergency department failed to recognize a severe drug interaction which occurred when they administered methadone with his regular medication, trazadone. As a pharmacist, im full aware or the potential severe drug interaction that occur between the two drugs. The combination can bring on severe arethmias. In my practice of pharmacy, No Drs willingly continue with this dangerous combination. Sadly ,Jake passed away the following day. We chatted with the hesd vetenary dr. THe head vetenary person at the office denied any wrong doing, but the drs worimg at the same facilities confirmed a problem with the dangerous combination. To be honest, a simple we messed up would have given me satisfaction. But to hear the arrogant denial of wrong doing the arrogant head Vet gave us enough for us to conclude we csnt use this practice going forward. However, when I presented this to the store associate, I was told that only a physical receipt would be accepted. I explained that going home to get the receipt would take me over an hour, but she insisted there was nothing that could be done. This response directly contradicts Petco's official policy and caused me unnecessary inconvenience. Such misinformation is both unprofessional and unacceptable. As a loyal customer, I expected better -- and frankly, this experience makes PetSmart look far more customer-friendly and consistent in their service.

It is Petsmarts responsibility to make sure their property is safe before they hold such an event. This was a traumatic experience for my puppy, my husband and myself. I called Petsmart customer service and left multiple emails and no one will get back to me. It is obviously Petsmart does not care about their customers or their pets.

I'm deeply saddened to report this, as I am an animal lover. However, the advice I received from…read morethis store regarding the care of my dragon was potentially fatal. They told me to maintain a tank temperature of 110-115 degrees, whereas my vet recommended 95-105 degrees during the day with humidity levels between 35-60%, and 60-70 degrees at night with humidity levels between 30-45%. The store advised using forest floor as a substrate instead of sand. My vet warned that if my dragon ingests a wood chip from the forest floor, it could be more fatal than sand. Additionally, forest floor retains moisture, creating excessively high humidity levels at night, which is unsuitable for dragons. Their natural habitat is sandy, and forest floor substrates are more appropriate for snakes and turtles. The store also mentioned that I wouldn't see my dragon's poop and suggested stirring the substrate every few weeks and changing it every 3-6 months. This advice shocked my vet, who emphasized the importance of scooping the poop every time my dragon goes and monitoring it for signs of health. Using the wrong substrate like forest floor means you won't see the poop because it's not the correct flooring to use. I can clearly see and manage my dragon's poop appropriately. There were many other discrepancies between the store's advice and my vet's recommendations. If you decide to purchase a pet from this store, be aware that it comes without a warranty, and they may not know the age or sex of the pet, as was the case with mine. Always consult your vet for proper care instructions, despite the store's claim of having 40 years of experience, which my vet questioned. On a positive note, my dragon was inexpensive, the store was accurate about the night temperatures, and she is thriving now that I'm caring for her properly. In addition, they are a bit rude and try to make you look incompetent in front of others. I dislike speaking negatively about people or businesses, and I am sure there are positive aspects about this place too, but always consult your vet for the best care advice. I bought my dragon to save her and i feel like they might have tried to sabotage me or just have no idea how to care for dragons.

There are baby bunnies in wire bottom cages. Their little paws were practically slipping through the wire and they could barely walk. I had to walk away to keep from losing it. There are dozens of exotic birds in tiny aquarium-like cages, the only ventilation was from tiny holes drilled into the plastic. It's clear that whoever owns this business has no empathy for these pets, I don't know how these employees sleep at night.
