Kevin on his first day home after five days in the QVC ICU
    Amy D.

QVC is AMAZING. They saved my dog's life and took amazing care of him in the ICU for five days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]EVERYONE there is so warm and compassionate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But I save my highest praise for Dr. Wright. She somehow walks the tightrope between confidence and empathy, which is very hard to do.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She explained everything they were doing to save my boy and always managed to give me hope, which I sorely needed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She's awesome and I'm not sure she really knows how much I appreciate her (and everyone else) for making sure my Kevin stayed earth side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Just took our baby girl in for an emergency visit due to a dew claw infection. We came at 9PM and left by 10:20PM. The front desk girls were super compassionate and caring, I could tell that they were caring based in their tone during my call. I loved every staff member and the attending nurses were energetic, happy, and kind. My husband and I love Dr. Ashley Cherry! She was knowledgeable, didn't try to upsell us anything, and listened to our concerns & Mocha's history actively. We will be switching to this vet permanently!

My love!! Her name is Ash and she means everything to me.

Took my dog here for an emergency 2 months ago and based on the excellent care, compassion of staff, and clear lines of communication I've decided to stay as a regular patient. They are a very well oiled machine there. They triaged my dog to make sure she was stable to wait to be seen (she was, luckily). My baby is doing better now than ever. It may seem standard, but when they say they will call with results, they do. The doctor actually calls and discusses the results with you. Every time I've ever interacted with any team members there they have been nothing but kind, compassionate and helpful.

Gold Level Standard of care. Little microcuts on belly from poor shave possibly . Gold level standard of care right there.

Eavesdropping in on conversation, brushed it off as recording notes for the medical record To start just know this was NOT our first choice to go to for animal hospitals, after reading the reviews and how combative and defensive and uncaring they seemed in their responses of such reviews, we were hoping another animal hospital in the area was available, but they were the only one in the vicinity that had his blood for the transfusion we needed, so we took our chances. In short, our dog was still sick upon returning home from our visit there and was not eating, so we inquiried about a partial refund because they somehow missed worms in his stool. A doctor called to explain and we engaged in a 50 minute conversation in which we still did not agree.  Still unhappy I wrote an email to the customer service manager. She informed me that she was not only aware of the call with the doctor, but she listened to the entire conversation.  I was unaware she was eavesdropping and I gave no permission to be on speakerphone with someone else was listening to our conversation.  When questioned about it, and told how unprofessional that is, she stated that she was not listening but taking notes.  I am not sure how you take notes without listening, but this manager somehow pulled it off. The fact that someone could record notes, but not listen in is the only thing that impressed me about this place. Then, low and behold, I requested the medical record in its entirity, and nothing from that phone call. So I eitheir wasn't sent the whole medical required (as required), she wasn't actually recording for the medical record and she was just listening in as I originally said, or something unforeseen happened in the transmitting of records. Lastly, we were told the dog received "Gold Level Standard of Care".  Gold level standard of care, to us, is NOT a dog having little micro cuts from a shave job. Glod level of standard of care to us is NOT ants crawling on the floor in the visitation room.  Gold level standard of care is NOT missing the most basic of diagnosis.  In addition, gold level standard of care is not eavesdropping on conversation and passing it off as recording notes for the record.  If that is their idea of gold level standard of care, then they might want to reconsider re-evaluating how we care for living things. Update: I received a letter today saying we were maked for no service (as if we would ever go there anyway--it reminds me of the meme where if ur boss fires you, you quit--that's what it's like that they did ). In the letter, it said personal attacks (plural). I did use ONE bad taste metaphor that I should not have used, but unlike they seem to never do, I owned up to that. So the slander and libel of using a plural word is NOT ok, especially because it was stated as matter of fact and shared with other employees.

We brought in our cat, Blue, just recently. He was suddenly unable to urinate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called while we were on the way and as soon as we got there one of the nurses came out and took him right back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They sent me pictures each morning and called me twice each day with updates.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He is doing so much better and we can't thank them enough for saving our baby.

    Otis :)

It doesn't matter who treats your pet here, you'll most likely be satisfied with the services these amazing people provide. From customer service to professional vet care, they truly know the value of care and truly appreciate your animals in all conditions under their care. My grandma, Martha Fisher, has been taking her pups here for over 15+ years and never stop admiring her regular Dr. And we have Dr. Joseph Consigli for our 16 week-old Sheepadoodle and he has been amazing as well! 10/10 would recommend anyone to come here! Now, I hate the fact that each trip costs about $200, but if you have pets you gotta be able to pay to maintain their health, right?

I made it abundantly clear when scheduling that I would need to be given Oxytocin in the event of complications which I was told 'of course, no problem!'. I took her on February 9th, received her radiographs and was then made to wait about 25 minutes where they could 'see about the prescription'. Once I was given it, I went through Chewy to order it (on February 9th) and staff neglected to approve the request for two entire days full well knowing Bay was due on Friday, February 13th and I stressed it's importance. I made phone calls, sent texts and was told a doctor would get back to me. I then was told it was my responsibility to upload the script to Chewy (which I couldn't find anyway) - which I then contacted Chewy and was told that was incorrect and they had been waiting for my vet approval this entire time, Chewy even called them and received no response. Regardless if I had the script or not, it was not my responsibility and the office did not prioritize my pregnant dog nor her puppies. I eventually was contacted on February 11th around 4pm by the practice manager who told me her staff did not feel comfortable prescribing the medication anymore after I spent $400 on the vet visit and now wasted two days. Fast forward February 12th - Bay goes into labor and as I expected, needs assistance from the drug; but I do not have it because Doylestown Vet had my hands tied and denied my dog the care she needed for a successful labor. I make an emergency trip to the ER (an additional $900 expense) she delivers 3 deceased puppies and 3 living puppies. We head home and now her labor is stalled again and the ER asked me to use the Oxytocin my vet should have responsibility prescribed me as standard repro practice. But here I am, unprepared because Doylestown chose ignorance over the reality of whelping puppies. I understand vet school and ethics, but if you care for some field experience, there's a big reality check here at my house because of your lack of concern for myself, my dog and her puppies. Shame on you for putting me in this position, stalling to tell me you had a change of mind about my dog's care, and then running down the clock so I had limited options on how to proceed finding her the care she needed. Edited to add, we are now a week out from Bay's delivery and I have had zero follow up from this practice. Ethics? I don't think so.

Called a month later, and told I could not get a refill without bringing the dog back in for blood test, to see if his liver was able to handle the pain meds. They wanted me to put my dog in the car ( that terrifies him ) and also risk him tearing his acl during the trip ( had knee repair 12 years ago, very vulnerable to damaging the repair, and would then need to be put down ). They also wanted to do blood work, and pay for another exam ( aprox $200 ), Just to get more pain meds. SERIOUSLY ? All 3 cats were sick and were in need of medical attention that was not considered an emergency. Upon my arrival at the VetIQ office, I was greeted warmly and 'checked in' or triaged by the receptionist (who's name I have forgotten) for my pets visit. I did not wait very long until a young man by the name of Harrison came out to greet me and my animal and escort us to the exam room. He was very polite and it was obvious that he had a sincere concern for my animal, Sadly, I have not always had this experience with vets in the past. In the exam room, I met the veterinarian, Dr. Jacob Quin. Although other customers had walked in with their pets, Dr. Quin took his time and was very thorough and patient while examining my cats. He explained to me what he was doing as he did it and what his diagnosis was. He spoke to me in layman's terms and made sure I completely understood what he was explaining to me and asked me several times if I had any questions or concerns. When medication was prescribed for my cats, he made sure to explain what it was for, how to administer it and mentioned any possible side effects that may occur. Both Dr. Quin and Harrison not only treated and examined my cats but they also gave them pats and cuddles. The love that I could sense from all of the employees in the office each time I have been there has been overwhelming. It is very apparent that these individuals truly love and have a deep level of compassion towards animals, this is not always the case. My impression of this particular VetIQ Petcare location is absolutely wonderful! I will most definitely be referring my friends and family to this location! The only 'negative' comment that I have is the design of the office space itself. It is an open concept and there is no door or barrier between the reception area/waiting room and the exam room. This presented a few concerns to me such as, the increased stress that my cats felt when the dogs that were in the waiting area were barking and visible to my cats. The adult cat I brought in was visibly shaking with fear. It also was very loud at times and made it difficult to hear what the Dr. was explaining to me. And if an animal got 'loose' it could potentially cause an issue with other animals that are in the office at that time. I feel that there should be some type of door or barrier separating the exam room from the rest of the office.

I'm deeply saddened to report this, as I am an animal lover. However, the advice I received from…read morethis store regarding the care of my dragon was potentially fatal. They told me to maintain a tank temperature of 110-115 degrees, whereas my vet recommended 95-105 degrees during the day with humidity levels between 35-60%, and 60-70 degrees at night with humidity levels between 30-45%. The store advised using forest floor as a substrate instead of sand. My vet warned that if my dragon ingests a wood chip from the forest floor, it could be more fatal than sand. Additionally, forest floor retains moisture, creating excessively high humidity levels at night, which is unsuitable for dragons. Their natural habitat is sandy, and forest floor substrates are more appropriate for snakes and turtles. The store also mentioned that I wouldn't see my dragon's poop and suggested stirring the substrate every few weeks and changing it every 3-6 months. This advice shocked my vet, who emphasized the importance of scooping the poop every time my dragon goes and monitoring it for signs of health. Using the wrong substrate like forest floor means you won't see the poop because it's not the correct flooring to use. I can clearly see and manage my dragon's poop appropriately. There were many other discrepancies between the store's advice and my vet's recommendations. If you decide to purchase a pet from this store, be aware that it comes without a warranty, and they may not know the age or sex of the pet, as was the case with mine. Always consult your vet for proper care instructions, despite the store's claim of having 40 years of experience, which my vet questioned. On a positive note, my dragon was inexpensive, the store was accurate about the night temperatures, and she is thriving now that I'm caring for her properly. In addition, they are a bit rude and try to make you look incompetent in front of others. I dislike speaking negatively about people or businesses, and I am sure there are positive aspects about this place too, but always consult your vet for the best care advice. I bought my dragon to save her and i feel like they might have tried to sabotage me or just have no idea how to care for dragons.
