Very disappointed with Mimi! I brought my dog to be groomed not lectured about her weight and how she could not jump up on the grooming table and she Mimi couldn't left her. Also said my dog was in pain and would live a short life if she didn't loose weight And she would not groom her. WELL I don't want her as my dogs groomer. My Vet said she was healthy and but could loose some lbs and we are working on that. Mimi is no vet and should not give advise on dogs she knows nothing about. read more

They seem to do okay work here. My concern is with the older groomer. I observed her yelling in frustration at a dog because the dog would occasionally sit down while she was grooming it. I'm concerned that if she acts this way in front of a customer (now former customer), how does she treat the dogs when no one is around? I'm not taking a chance. I will find another groomer. read more

The cuts they do on the dogs need a lot of improvement. Mimi will shave as short as she can all over , no matter the cut you tell her you want. She uses the excuse that they had too many Matt's! ( same excuse she uses with everyone) I have bought my dog home only to find razor burns on her chest, where it was completely raw. I took a picture and sent it to Mimmi and the last time I took her , her butt and her twat is raw. It is completely red. INEXCUSABLE ....I have had to put a cone on her and medicate her sores. She will not come out from under the bed only to eat and go back under it and hide. I am completely disgusted with his place and I would advise no one to go there. read more

Previously we loved this place, even if it cost a little more. This week we took her in and they basically shaved her! She is the constant companion of my room bound 79 year old mother-in-law. The explanation they gave my husband was that she was matted???!!! She doesn't go outside the room except to do her business then right back into room. Not a more spoiled dog anywhere. Shouldn't we have least got a call. In addition they charged her $25 more than usual. The only thing right is the poof on her head. I am very disappointed since my original groomer left. I own a standard poodle and requested a bath, blow out, and sani trim... I called 4 hours after he was dropped off and told that "he's taking forever to dry under the fan and isn't liking it" well, my sister is a groomer and I messaged her to confirm immediately, poodles shouldn't be "fan" or kennel dried... they tried to back up that when they heard my tone on my second call "oh no, we are drying him by hand, he just has a fan blowing on him too" .... he wasn't the usual shiny, his coat wasn't poofed out and fluffy, his tail was a mess, his ears weren't even looked at, so disappointed, will never give this shop business again. The cut on our 2 schnauzers was messy and uneven and left much too long. They were needing to be groomed again in a week. From the minute we brought them home both schnauzers were scratching almost continuously. They had to be taken to the vet and given an injection to clear up the problem. I don't know what was used on them but their first grooming at this place did not go well and cost us even more. read more

Staff was extremely awkward. I booked my appointment online indicating my malti-poo needed grooming. When I walked into the store with my dog, the entire staff stopped to stare & the lady at the desk asked what I needed... for a second I wanted to tell them I needed a cut & color because I hadn't seen a hair dresser since quarantine started, but I kept my composure, I mean after all, I was there with my dog, right? They didn't listen to what I asked for, and left our poor pooch with a crooked head, rather than a round top, like they told me they would do "instead", the cut is patchy, the didn't finish his feet, left several long areas on his hind legs & left his hair under his tail completely lopsided (long on one side, almost skin on the other). $55 later & my poor dog looks pathetic & embarrassed... we won't be back. read more

Twice ... they shave my dog completely. Same groomer. Then they charge me $96. Shaved completely. Not a style not a short buzz. My dog is not that matted- which is the same excuse the first and this time. I've taken him different places due to availability, and this is the only place he comes out BALD. !!! Shaved tail, after I told them not to. Unfortunately, I won't return. I really liked how clean it is, and close by. DO NOT USE THIS GROOMER!! We just moved to the area & took our labradoodle in for grooming. We walked in, discussed what we would like and showed a picture example. The groomer introduced herself, felt him and we discussed the matting under his ears, that was the extent of our conversation. I did not ask for nor did we discuss shaving him. We picked up our dog to find him shaved down to the bare skin, you can literally see his skin. He is traumatized, no hair. When I called the owner Mimi to ask why no one called me before shaving our dog she informed me "sometimes its easier to shave and start over". I said I understood, however this the owners decision and if you are going to shave a dog down to the skin you should at the very least make a courtesy phone call before such drastic measures. Mimi responded with "it is a summer cut". Well this isnt my first rodeo Mimi. Ive had summer cuts, this was a butcher job and will take 6 mo at least to grow out. Mimi informed me she agreed with and stood behind her groomer 100%. I informed her I would not be returning she replied "Good dont come back". If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. read more

Walked in and got my dogs nails grinded without any waiting. They didn't require any proof of rabies or anything and didn't even ask any information about him. Not used to that. But the girl that did the nails did a decent job, could've trimmed a little more. It was about $16 for a nail grind. I'm sure I'll be back since I can't grind them myself. read more

I brought my dog there one time before last and it was $40 and my dog is a small toy poodle/shihpoo. I liked the cut so I went back again. Except when I picked up my dog this time he was 54 dollars. For a small dog . when I found out I asked why it was more this time for a small dog she said they raised their prices without telling me before hand. Mimi does not know how to cut. the Salon is filthy and Mimi seemed to be the only one in the shop, that's not good because there will be no accountability if the service is bad or a dog is mistreated. She seems untidy and disorganized, The cut my dog got was horrible, it was patchy, uneven and just embarrassing- she didn't give me the haircut for my dog that we requested. Its obvious that she disregarded what we wanted. Mimi had our dog for about 3 hours and it seemed as if she just shaved our dog right before we walked in. No problem because we will not be back and pass the word that cheaper is not always better. We thought we were getting a good deal. Took my little dog in for a hair trim and she came out butched, literally. I wouldn't have minded had they just cut her a "little short" but she was patchy all over and she had long hairs mixed in with baldy patches.
