I will say every time I come here the people are very nice and helpful. I usually get the same thing every time and they still greet me or point something out if they've moved it but today when I went, it was breaking my heart whoever's dog on 617 at 10:45 AM was getting a haircut. I feel so sorry for you and your dog. I was in the store a little over six minutes and the dog was whimpering and crying the whole time I was in the store. I even went to the Grooming section to peek in the window, but it wasn't available for me to see inside, but that dog was crying so much. It literally made me go home and get on YouTube and look up Grooming I would hate for someone to torment my dog like that. Maybe your dog is a little sensitive but something has to give. read more

We have always shopped for pet supplies from grocery stores and big box stores until the pandemic and suddenly we couldn't find the wet cat food our cats love. Pets Supplies Plus is a closer location but we always assumed it was more expensive than the big box stores so we never tried them. When faced with the pandemic's limited options, we tried Pets Supplies Plus and to our surprise they were the same price as the grocery and big box stores and their selection was much better. Occasionally they faced some shortages too but we seemed to always be able to find the wet food that our cats would eat. In the last year we have added a hamster and a cockatiel to our pet family. For these small animals, big box stores are limited to what they actually carry in the store. At Pet Supplies Plus, we were able to find bird feed, toys, cage attachments, etc. The hamster bedding can be purchased in bulk there and they have several selections of small animal food products, as well as vitamins, cage necessities and toys. Their prices have gone up in the last few months but we checked the grocery and big box stores again too and theirs went up as well. The selection at Pets Supplies Plus is still much better than the big box stores and we like that it is a shorter drive for us. You can also order online if you don't have a store near you. They also offer grooming and pet clinics if you have a dog. We've never used those services so we can't rate them but will say there are always pets in there getting trimmed up. read more

Don't take your dog to get groomed here... been taking mine here since he was a puppy and never had an issue with the old people but the new people just can't do it apparently... drove 30+ minutes for my appointment since this was the only place my dog new and felt like that would help just for the older lady to say she can't do it.. if you thought it would be a problem freaking call me before I come not when I get there. And she even was like yea I remember him from last time but I had another person to help that was stronger so idk if I can do it now so not like she just didn't know what kind of dog he was or that he was very strong.. there are notes on him and everything. absolutely ridiculous that I wasted an hour/ my day for that. Will never be bringing him again cause now idk who will be there and can't risk the drive. read more

I called to make The appointment I didn't make it online because I wanted to make sure they would be able to fully groom standard poodles-I was told yes. When we dropped them off we were very hesitant as they only have 1 groomer and she really didn't act like she knew the grooming standards or lingo of a poodle. When we picked them up their groom was incomplete, lots of missed place where the clippers never even touched and spots where it got too close. Both were bleeding from nails being aY too short and their ears had not been cleaned at all let alone plucked. She told me after that she had not done standards before and only shaved feet and face once. Faces were shaved but the male had the bottom of his feet shaved the females feet were never touched. Had the groomer been upfront with me about her lack of experience with standard poodles I would been ok with just a bath. This is unacceptable especially when I was still expected to pay full price and had to finish the job at home myself. read more

As a reptile keeper, i am appalled how this store keeps their reptiles. I came in to look for certain supplies and couldnt look away from their reptiles. If they continue to keep their animals this way, they will unfortunately die. Please dont purchase their animals unless they are healthy. These poor babies have GREEN water. One has a suctioncup thermometer(im assuming thats what it is) that fell in the tank that causes major hazard to the animal. They are kept in horrible husbandry. It brought me to tears. This place obviously doesnt care for all their animals. read more

After a bad experience with the groomer here, decided to try again considering we all have bad days. Scheduled online. Week out. Showed up 20 minutes early since time was my issue before. Groomer was no where to be found. Staff went into back and returned 13 minutes later to inform they had no appointments scheduled at 12:30. #2ndFAIL. Wish I could give zero stars. read more

Ordering with Pet Supplies Plus has always been a pleasant experience. Ordering online is easy and my orders are ready to pick up within an hour or 2. When I pull up to the curb in front of the store, I just click the "I'm Here" button in the text notice and very quickly (within 5 minutes usually) a team member runs it out to me. There is always a handwritten thank you note stickered to my order which comes in brown paper bags with handles and cute animal prints. I had brought my dog in for a dog bath and when I picked her up from the groomer she didn't mention anything about seeing fleas on her. I tried calling back and couldn't get hold of the grooming area. No way of leaving a message either. I decided to go back to the store and talked even to a manager plus a lady in the groomer section about my dog. I was told that if the groomer sees a fleas on your dog that they are required to let you know. The groomer never told me anything. I will not be back either. read more
