This stores customer service is the best!!! If they don't have what I need, they look it up to see when the truck is arriving and gives me a date. Then they call me as soon as it's in stock. Often I place a order online or by phone and it's always perfect. A very good Pet Supplies Plus store to shop for all your pet needs, I had called to check stock on a Blue Buffalo treat for my dogs with Morgan and not only they had it she held it for me under my name. We also was able to stock up on dog food (Redford) along with some sweaters and toys (of course) as well which just happen to be marked down. I really wanted to give this store 5 stars. While I like the variety of items they offer, their staff can use a bit more training. I have a new puppy and went to their store to purchase some raw food. I purchased a bag, got it home only to find out it had expired three months ago. I did not want to take any chances giving my dog this food. They were extremely apologetic and gave me a refund the next day. My husband was not sure what food to purchase, since they did not have the bag size I originally purchased, so I went back on Sunday. I get up to the counter at 6:15 only to be told I could not be rung up because they closed at 6. Well, no announcement was made, they should have seen I was in the store (it's not that big). In my opinion, they could have assured themselves there were no customers in the store before you shut down all registers. I was told the pet food I was purchasing was sold at two competitors. I go to both stores, but I was misinformed. They do not carry the brand of food I was looking for. Please train your staff better. I really want to make this store work, so I will be giving them another chance. I will submit an update on my next visit. read more

Stopped in here after a quick trip to Aldi. There was a few people in line but they had everyone 6 feet apart. They have everything you could possibly need from a pet store here. Got some good deals here also. The prices are very similar to other stores and not as long as waits. We picked up a few bags of treats for our baby girl Yorkie Cali. I like the variety this pet food store offers from all brands and such, plus you can bring in your pet for a bath too. This is one of go tos for dog food, if I can't get too my other location. Brought my dog for a wash for the 1st time ever at this store. I was referred by a neighbor. I called ahead of time and they told me how it works along with the 5 dog wash special I can purchase. Friendly! Super dog wash facilities. My dog didn't like the dryer. Definitely not the store's fault. It was actually funny to watch his reaction. I am looking forward to coming back. Took my 3 year old Lab/ cocker mix for a bath. It's always hard to bathe him at home since he likes to run away. It was easy, all the supplies where on hand including conditioner, towels, shams and a dryer. He didn't mind it and we were done within 30 minutes. I've also been shopping at this store since it opened. They have high quality pet food (I buy Taste of the Wild) that I can't get at other stores in the area. They also have a huge selection of treats, canned food, and more. Their prices are the cheapest in the area and they do price match. They're also good about sending out coupons if you have a pets supplies card with them. The manager and staff know alot about the products they sell and are happy to answer any questions you have. They're also willing to order a product, if they can get it, for you. I don't shop anywhere else for my pets now. read more

Pet Supplies Plus is a great place to go for all you're pet needs. They carry a wide range of products and run plenty of sales. They have baked treats for your dog in a case up front, and they're always a big hit. There is a do it yourself dog wash that seems pretty well equipped to handle whatever it is you may need to get Scruffy all cleaned up. Don't miss out on the "hidden" clearance section located all the way down to the left as you walk in the door. Halloween costumes for $4! I admit it: I'm a fan of Pet Supplies Plus and have been for some time. I usually don't care much for chain stores, but this is actually one of my very are exceptions - it is nothing like the PetCo's and PetSmarts out there. I am always asked if there's anything I need help with or if there's something I'm not finding, and I have yet to experience anything I need being out-of-stock. The store is clean, and while it's not filled with frills or "eye candy", I feel that the lack of these unnecessary items means more room for the good stuff and savings for me and my family - it's not what's on the walls of the "boutique" (a term I feel is being thrown around too much these days) that means better nutrition for my pets: it's what's in the bag, and when I spend less, I can feed better food. If you care about your pet, that's what should really count! Unlike most chain-stores, I can actually feel good about feeding my pets the goodies I bring home from P.S.P., as there are a wide variety of healthy pet foods and treats, many organic and/or grain-free. When I buy feeder crickets for my reptiles from just about anywhere else, I get an unwanted surprise: fruit flies. Yuck!!! I have yet to have that happen from P.S.P., and unlike elsewhere, they don't act like I'm interrupting them when I ask them to grab 8 dozen crickets! There's nothing worse than employees acting like they're put-out because you're asking them to just do their job. I have to mention this, too, because I appreciate anyone who cares for animals as much as I do: there's a special employee there that seems to work primarily in their livestock department, and every time I go, I see him tending to the reptiles very carefully, or, especially, talking to, handling, and playing with the birds... in fact, there was a Conure I'd have loved to take home if I didn't already have my hands full! When I asked him about her, he told me when she arrived, she was huddled up in the back of the cage and attacked any hands near her, but when I visited with her (only a month after she arrived at the store), she leapt to the front of the cage to say hello, danced back and forth, bobbed her head up and down, and would sing a few opera-like notes! Super-cute!!! Basically, the store is clean, well-stocked with healthy pet food, and value-oriented, which easily makes it a 5-star experience for me and my pets! read more

This store has it all. Great friendly customer service, it's clean, and the prices are great. They have a whole clearance section that always has good stuff in it. The employees are all knowledgeable, but not snobby. If your buying cheep cat food they don't judge you and recommend fancy organic expensive food, they recommend the best cheep cat food. I adopted a kitten from spay Illinois who used to have cats in the store, but I haven't seen any cats there in a while. read more

I've been frequenting this store since it opened. The staff has always been very knowledgeable and is very quick to help me. I have two dogs, two cats, and a fish tank. They helped me get my fish tank started and it was one of the most smooth fish tank starts I have ever been through. Until I began shopping here I thought Friskies and Fancy Feast were the best cat foods out there, the staff informed me that those foods were actually lower end and nutritionally devoid. They spent a lot of time and showed me a variety of foods that were MUCH better and since I switched my cat has been healthier, more active and her coat and eyes are now bright and shiny. It's like having a new cat! And the best part I am spending the same amount of money on foods. And they store will also price match, which is a lifesaver because now I don't have to drive all the way to Batavia and I can get all the best prices in one stop. read more
