They delivered the most beautiful arrangement for my dear friend less than 2 hours later. That is such great service!!! I used to live in Great Kills, but live in FL now. My sister in law used this florist for her wedding bouquet. It was delivered on time but they didn't do what they promised and discussed (she even sent them pictures). The delivery driver drove it back to the store to have it fixed & they finally corrected it to how it was supposed to be. It truly looked great & the flowers were not frayed or old looking at all........Although the bouquet needed fixing and stressed her out greatly the morning of her wedding, it soon became overlooked because it was corrected. So, here's the real issue: the silk wrap where you hold the flowers by the stems, began unraveling in the middle of her wedding reception. She wasn't even able to preserve her bouquet like some of our family did because it became unraveled. As far as if you wanted to order a general bouquet of a dozen roses, they charge $85 + tax & delivery. In my opinion that's too expensive and I'd rather go to Costco or the grocery store for my flowers. But I'm assuming that's the going rate amongst local Staten Island florists, and if customers are willing to spend it then more power to the business. I just personally wouldn't come here again after watching my sister in laws bouquet fall apart on her wedding day. read more

This review is just based on the product. I brought a very expensive bouquet yesterday and this morning many of the flowers were dead, this is the second time this month that this happened. I understand that these are flowers and this is to be expected, but I buy flowers often and am experienced in taking care of them. They can really last a long time with proper care.I know that things are hard on business because of COVID but as a consumer, I would at least like to get 4 days out of them. This place is BEAUTIFUL! They have the normal flower type and then they always have 2 or 3 different exotic types that change every few months. They will try and make something from picture best they can or ask how much want to spend. If certain flower catches your eye, ask them to add it. Also if they make something that was big hit with the wife or etc, tell them so they can write down what you like and next time will be easier to create it. I first heard about Eltingville Florist from a close relative of mine. I had seen their work on Facebook, instagram, and Google, and was very impressed. But, it wasn't until I went to the store that I knew these people were going to do my wedding flowers!
