This store has so much potential. Sadly, the results were lacking though. We went in this past week to get our 9 year old Nebelung (long haired Russian Blue) shaved for medical reasons. Our cat has been groomed numerous times by other south OC groomers. This time I talked with a gentleman on the phone about the situation and pricing. He told me $95 for a complete grooming which included several services. I agreed once he understood what he was dealing with. Our kitty had a tumor removed two weeks ago and still had a healing scar. To add to that she had a needle aspiration in her tummy the day before to check another mass. She had two extremely stressful vet visits within the past weeks and we needed a mellow, caring environment that kept an eye on her treatment areas. The front desk guy assured me that they would take the utmost care. This shave was a request of our vet otherwise I would have waited a bit. He gave us confidence to go ahead. When we arrived, punk music was blasting from the grooming room in back. And when I say blasting I mean blasting. We were in the business for 5 minutes without being attended to. Even though our cat was meowing and I was nearly yelling they still couldn't hear me. After several more minutes I stepped closer and they heard me. Mind you they were just talking and listening to music at this time. No pets were being groomed. There was a small dog waiting to be picked up and I felt bad for it due to the noise level. We handed our cat over and I asked if they could switch the music kindly. I told the groomer that our cat just had a procedure yesterday and that she had a tumor removed 14 days prior. Maybe classical or something mellow would be better? She agreed and told us it would take an hour to two hours. Two hours we came to pick her up. The crazy punk mosh pit music was BLASTING. It was disrespectful that they didn't even TRY to act like they cared. The main groomer handed our cat over and told me that she had nicked her nipple because 'she just has so many!'! I was stunned. We told them over and over that she had just been recovering from medical procedures and you cut into her? As a groomer shouldn't you know about where and how many nipples animals have? It was gross. Then she told me the guy quoted me wrong and added 10$ to our bill. I wasn't impressed. She said I could come back if her nipple was damaged and not healing the next day if I wanted to the next day. No thanks. When we got home we had to cut two dreadlocks out of her tail and she had baldness where they cut her too close. It was obvious that they just plain don't care. From the inconsiderate attitude to the sloppy shave and treatment we won't be returning. read more

Took our dog in for grooming it is the best trim and bath we have ever had. He is a lab and needed a trim so bad. He is happy now to lose the under fur. read more

I took my rescue dog into PetC.emente for his first bath/grooming/haircut. My little dog has come a long way but he is still very nervous and he does not trust many humans yet. Karen as the groomer and she came to work early just to meet my pup and make sure he was comfortable. There was soft music and a calm environment. I really did not expect she would be able to do a full grooming but she had my dog eating out of her hand- physically and psychologically. SHe also had an interesting conversation with me. She was not afraid to tell me to stop hovering over the dog and she gave me some tips on the best way to give the pup calming signals. The price was very fair, the results were amazing and I will definitely keep coming back read more

Petclemente - Pet Groomers Near Me - San Clemente, California

Walking through the OutLet Mall here in San Clemente on Mother's Day I found Petclemente! I have been trying to get an appoint with my regular groomer and could not get my dog in until after the 4th of July. Avery got me an appointment for the very next day. My Henry is a 16 year old shih tzu and in all these years he has never had a better haircut! He loved it too! When I picked him up he was calm and not in a hurry to leave. Avery was a delight! She is energetic and happy and really FUN! BTW all the dogs seem to love her! She asked all the right questions in regards to how I wanted Henry cut and that is exactly what I got!
