'Assorted Fancy Ball Python' in its enclosure. Very clean water and substrate.
    Jeannette T.

Usually clean and quiet. Reptiles are surprisingly taken care of very well - rarely see any poo in the enclosures. I've seen understaffed stores where the poop is everywhere, so this store in particular exceeds my expectations. Manager and staff are helpful with returns or finding the right item for my mother's cat. I always try to pop in and look around if I am out about.

I got a baby pitbull thinking it was gonna be average size but nah it ended up being a 200 pound pitbull named rainbow at least its strong enough to protect me but this is not what I ordered can I get a refund because this fatass dog wont fit anywhere.

    Bilbo

They did a great job on my sons dog Bilbo. He looked quite handsome and smelled great. His hair was clipped to the correct length. Thank you so much!

We had some fish we wanted to rescue. We are moving homes and needed a new home for our fish. I told the associate if he could just take our fish off our hands it would make the kids feel better. He said you will just have to flush them yourself in font of the little kids . Good help is hard to find. Definitely the case at this Petco.

    On our way for treats!

It's a pet store. And they have the dog food that I like. The hours aren't that great though. I wish they stayed open later.

Lucky Dog practices cageless grooming which I thought was interesting and quite kind to pets. Setting appointments is easy - I either call or text for appointments and they respond almost right away. I usually groom my dogs myself, but I've been sick and unable to do it lately. I was hoping to find someone reliable to start handling their baths on a regular basis. I have back issues, which is why I stopped professionally grooming to begin with. The first thing they asked was if I'd been there before. I said no, I would be a new customer. Then they immediately asked what breed my dogs were. I told them the truth: they're purebred English Staffordshire Bull Terriers. The response? "Oh, you could've just said pit bulls -- it's okay." First of all, no -- they are not pit bulls. They are English Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Pitbulls and Staffordshire Bull Terriers are not the same breed. Right after that, I was told, "Well, we're not taking new clients anyway." Interesting. Because if that were true, wouldn't you have said that the moment I said I was a new customer? It's obvious what really happened -- you heard the breed and assumed they were pitbulls. This is classic breed discrimination. You judged my dogs without knowing anything about them. The truth is, they're two of the sweetest, most well-behaved, trained dogs you could ever meet. They've been getting groomed since they were tiny puppies and love being pampered. But because of your prejudice, you turned away two perfect clients. Call it what it is: dog racism and ignorance. If you're going to work in this field, at least educate yourself on breeds.

Danielle is friendly and reliable and most of all - she does a great job. We always go with a short cut on our Maltese for ease of maintenance and Danielle's cuts are very consistent. Our dog always looks the same, which is a big positive in my book. Other groomers have delivered inconsistent looks when we simply wanted the same haircut. The convenience of the mobile service is hard to beat too. It's a little more expensive than service at a brick and mortar building, but it's worth it in my opinion. You won't regret going with this business for your furry friend's grooming needs. Highly recommended. ***In the post-grooming photo of my pup, he'd had a recent vet procedure that resulted in a stitch in his forehead and a partially shaved right leg. Full stop. If you have a small dog, don't even *think* about going anywhere else! Not only will your furbaby be gorgeously groomed, you will have the peace of mind of knowing he is being cared for by 1) someone who genuinely loves dogs, and 2) is also incredibly talented and experienced. Since I work from home, if I can't entertain her enough she tends to get a little bit restless and then neither of us are very productive. She needs a lot of attention and exercise, so being able to drop her some days is a godsend. She comes home tired and happy. The staff here are super friendly and really seem to enjoy what they do. If my crazy pooch rolls around in special sauce (code for just about any excrement a dog can possibly accidentally roll into), they give her a quick bath so she comes home clean. Even if they're concerned about her, i.e. that small kennel cough epidemic that swept the area, they call to tell me if something is wrong. I love that they celebrate holidays and dress my pup up and send home pics and report cards. It feels like I'm getting a lot of bang for the buck, and I know she's in good hands because I can spy on the webcam! Also another awesome perk. She really loves coming here. I say "daycare" and she is by the door ready to go. I appreciate the enthusiasm they share for their pup clients and that they provide excellent service for their human clients too. It's definitely worth even the occasional splurge to have your pup be entertained, tired, and some sane human time. Let's be honest - we love our pups like we love our kids, but everyone needs a break! 2/1/19: I had to come update this because it demonstrates their high quality service. I live very close to the daycare, and yesterday when temperatures were just not safe for people or dogs to be out in, I planned to take my dog and spare us both. But the cold weather killed my car battery so we were stuck at home. The owner actually came and scooped her up for me. Now THAT is too notch and I was so very grateful, and it shows just how well they treat their human patrons too. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

I've been getting charged $32 repeatedly for daycare even though i drop my dog off at closing time, so this time, I literally checked him in at 6:55pm to avoid getting charged $32 half-day rate for daycare, but got charged anyway. I asked them reconsider charging me and they told me to go pound sand. So yeah, if you are going to fraudulently charge your customers for half-day of daycare when you are actually not providing any day care service, that's just bad business in my opinion.

Every booking, every pet, every time: more signatures and "agreements" than a mortgage closing. Somewhere there's a lawyer who's never met a dog and decided the real threat to this business is the guy who's paid them loyally for three years. You carefully fill out the entire grooming form online, pick every option -- then show up and they shove a paper copy across the counter to sign the exact same thing again. And after all that paperwork, they still claim they don't have the phone number they've had on file for three years and called me on before. Let's put this in perspective. I can order dinner to my door in two taps -- Reorder, Apple Pay, done. A stranger drives hot food across town on the strength of my thumbprint. But dropping off dogs these people have known for three years apparently requires a signing ceremony and a fresh liability waiver every single visit. In 2026, that's not caution. That's a business that's forgotten how to trust its own customers. And then there's the membership -- the crown jewel of contempt. They took a system that worked and actively torched it. Gone are the daycare credit packs: fair, flexible, buy-what-you-need, the way a business treats people it respects. In their place, a pricier monthly "membership" that auto-drafts your card whether your dog walks through the door or not, with no rollover for the days you paid for and never used. Read that again: you pay, they keep it, your dog gets nothing, and they call it a perk. It's not a membership -- it's a standing withdrawal from your bank account with a bow on it. It punishes the exact people who kept this place in business: the regulars whose lives don't run on a fixed weekly schedule. Some months my dogs come once, some months five times, because that's how actual life works -- and this program is built to make sure I lose either way. It doesn't serve pets. It doesn't serve owners. It serves a spreadsheet, and it treats every loyal customer as a recurring charge to be maximized rather than a person to be valued. It is, top to bottom, the most openly hostile "loyalty" scheme I've ever been asked to fund. When customers spend more time signing forms and fighting your billing than petting their dogs, you're not a pet resort -- you're a law firm with a kennel attached. Take your pets somewhere that still remembers what the word "customer" means.
