I have yet to not be greeted at this store as I enter. That is impressive! This store is always clean, well organized. Each animal has its own section. The Staff is ALWAYS friendly. I have never had a problem in this store. Staff is also very helpful. If you can't find what your looking for ask them. Parking isn't an issue because sadly most stores in the center have closed. Make sure you sign up for their rewards program it helps you save some cash while providing good food for your pets. It's a win/win! read more

Honestly this place is a hit or miss. One thing for sure is that the workers hee are really rude and degrading, idk where they hire all these people. They have the meanest attitude. There's like three really nice workers everyone else sucks tbh. Sucks because I usually prefer petco but I don't bother with this one. Also the worst fish section. read more

(Grooming) Dog burned /blisters My dog had an appointment with JEN I dropped him off, they told me he will be ready 3-5hours. I took him there for first time because I read the great reviews on Yelp about a groomer JEN, and I'm regular costumer there and it's been great. The groomer called me 4 hrs later to my cell asking how I wanted to his face and then 30 mns later called again to ask how short his body hair to be. When I told the girl at front desk, which also Jen was there. it wasn't a big deal so I told her again and asked her how long for him to be ready and she said 15 mns, so I drive to the store it takes 10 mns to get there, I waited another 20 mns, during the time I witnessed groomer talking to coworker and then answering phone while cutting my dog's face hair, she hangs up and I go to front desk, I went and paid then waited 5 more mns and she's in a rush finishing trimming my dogs tail because a regular client of hers got there and was in a hurry because the lady needed to go "emergency" so she said "I'm done", handled my dog to coworker so she can give back to me. I just took my dog home, once at home besides seeing my dog's face hair was uneven I started to noticing he was licking himself around his genital area. I checked I didn't see much but a bit redish and thought it might be a bit ichy because of the haircut, next day, we go out of town and my dog continues to lick himself and acting like something is bothering him, I checked again and I noticed this blisters in his genitals and a rush towards his anal area, I got so upset finding out the my dog had been burned/cut with clippers. My heart drops knowing my dog it's been in pain. So I went to store next day to talk to manager, a very respectful gentleman I think was Robert so I explained to him everything and checked my dog, I told him I was really upset and just to let him know how JEN groomer and assistant failed to inform me of my dog being hurt, I also showed him pictures I took, I told him if that happened it's because they're not paying attention or not careful when working with moving animals and sharp tools, I told him not good idea for them to answer phone calls or talking while working on animals, because I saw them. Why not called me to notify me of my dog being hurt!!! But yet to ask for instructions that were given at drop off time. He understood and apologized to me and he said he'll talk to grooming department. He commented that sometimes owners don't realize and drop off dogs with injuries, but I told him not my case, it's my dog and I love my dog, why would I bring my dog with blisters on? Not me! I told him everything that I notice on my dog if not normal, I take care of it right away. He said if really happened here we will take care vet bill. I didn't want to go back and forth and be stressful about it so I just told him it's OK just want for Grooming department to be focus on their job and be professional for this not to happen to other pets. He offered to give money back , I accepted, took dog to vet and was prescribed some medication and cream for burns. No doubt Jen is talented and great, but in this case I had a bad experience. read more

I was very pleased with the grooming staff. Upon my arrival with my two dogs (Bailey & Samy)The staff immediately made contact with them by petting them and asking questions about the type of cut I wanted for them Bailey, my Golden Doodle took to Christa and Sarah right away. I was very impressed with value-added customer service that the entire staff provided. The personal attention was is very refreshing. Five hours later I returned to pick up my boys. To my surprise I was completely satisfied at how great they looked, particularly Bailey. His cut was exactly as I wanted. Samy had the look of a dog of character. The grooming staff reassured me if after several days I wasn't happy with the grooming to please bring them back and they would attempt to make it right. Took my 15 yr old cat in to be seen in Sept, we just moved from out of state, to a new home and she wasn't herself! I had told the vet that she did vomit a little blood just before moving and was my concern also she had not been eating her dry food,( she never ate wet) our cat doesn't like to travel or to be in her carrier,I told them this. Our cat started hissing in the exam room, it really surprised me! (she is declawed, not my choice she's a rescue girl) she was so scared,and the two ladies in the room picked her up and did a looked at her fur and commented that she had a beautiful coat and they thought she was fine, they did not check ears,eyes,mouth, that What I want them to do, look in her mouth,she's no eating much food! They said they couldn't do any more unless they put her under, and I would need another appointment for that but they would get me an estimate, I'm not happy! I actually paid $70.for them to hold my hissy cat! $700was the estimate! Unbelievable!!!! Our Cat passed away a few weeks later of kidney failure! Never take your loved one here!!! The vet we found to see her was very Kind and caring! We pick up her ashes next week! read more

Walked in with my man to buy cat litter, walked out buying a full aquarium set up. (...and forgot the cat litter, haha). Staff: The gentleman who helped us was named Tim and he was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and kind. He was also very patient since we knew nothing about fish or their environments. If you ever need help with any fish things, go to him, you won't regret it. Store: Very wide variety, I have two cats and a rabbit (and now 5 fish) and I always feel I can have options for my animals. Also, the store is very clean and well organized. I have gone to this Petco for a while now for my various pet needs and have been very satisfied. The only thing that ever threw me off was one time I was at the register and the girl who was ringing was telling a customer completely wrong information about a certain flea and tick product. I don't know if she was misinformed or trying to make a sale, but I work at an animal hospital and knew the product she was speaking of very well and she was telling the customer wrong information. Kind of a red flag if you don't know anything about a product and someone is trying to inform you, just make sure you check your facts. Totally not a big deal, everyone makes mistakes and she was very kind and had great customer service. Just thought it was worth a mention. Overall, a great store. I will def go here for all my pet needs, as should you! read more

This place would not let me exchange an item. They told me no reruns due to covid. I wanted to exchange and the manger didn't even try. She said no. Ok so I asked if she had an idea when they would take returns and she said no. So I called the district office. It just directs you to the same number as the store. So I emailed the district office. I got a cook cutter response and no information as to when the customer could start making returns. All dead ends. So disappointed. I have been in retail for 20 years and I would never ever be able to handle this situation the way petco did. Well at least there's a Petsmart a block away. I will never go back. No answers is just wrong. Looks to me like petco only cares about money and their bottom line. That's why they don't want you to return. They're using Covid as an excuse. So sad. read more

This location is great it's in a shopping center with plenty of vacant stores around it so parking is "never" an issue day or night.We are always able to find someone to help us as the store is rarely busy. We have a new puppy and it's much easier to take him into this store instead of Temecula as there are virtually no people or other dogs in the store. The store is very clean and well stocked with everything you see online. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on the products. read more

I am super unhappy and disappointed with the groomer facility at this Petco. I drive all the way out from Canyon Lake just to go to this groomer because they do such a great job grooming my Siberian husky. Last month when I brought my husky in to get groomed I let the groomer know that she has had seizures in the past, but has not had one for about eight years now. She didn't have a problem with it. Today, when I took my dog back in to get groomed, I let the girl know (again) that she has had seizures (because I'm being safe) and she looked at the other groomer and said oh I have to talk to my manager, then she came back from talking to her manager and the manager said to call my vet to make sure she's OK to be groomed. It's the holidays and I don't have time to sit around and wait for her to call my groomer. if I didn't think it was safe to bring my dog to a groomer, then I would groom her myself as I am a nurse. Also I don't believe you can judge another dogs seizures versus my dogs seizures because there are so many different types of seizures. Needless to say that was my last time going there because of this and I will not be back. This is not good customer service in my eyes and the last time I was there was a whole different experience from today. read more

I am so impressed with this petco. We volunteer at an organization that helps the homeless and needy. Along with this population, comes their animals. Petco has been such an amazing help in providing food, flea and tick medication, assorted dog and cat care items, collars and leashes and all sorts of other accessories. Each time someone goes in and donates a dollar or more, our organization (CAYA Homeless Ministry and Feeding Pets of the Homeless) gets food, medication and money to help with vet bills. Today petco had a Halloween pet party and asked us to be a part of it. We had so much fun! We were even able to have one of our three-legged dog friends there (petco provided for his surgery last year when his health was in jeopardy due to an injury at the riverbottom while he was homeless). From the bottom of all of our hearts, a huge thank you to petco and your wonderful patrons!!! read more

Terrible customer service by the manager, Linda. My fiance went in for a return where we had lost the receipt and she didn't even stop whatever task she was doing in order to attempt to help him. Instead, she brusquely stated that she can't look up receipts and cannot accept returns without a receipt, even for store credit. He contacted customer care and they basically backed her up, barely apologizing for her extremely rude behavior. We have three dogs and have shopped with Petco monthly but will never come to this store chain ever again. I guess they're just willing to lose a loyal customer over 60$. read more

Staff is very friendly and as far as aquatics and dogs go, they are very knowledgeable. Prices are average not the cheapest but they arent crazy expensive either. because of their location they usually are slow which means you dont have to wait long for help; this is a smaller store but is well stock! read more

We use Petco for all of our pet supplies. My Chihuahuas love the food products from Merrick Pet Food Co. I think they name their canned dog food selections to appeal to the owner. My finnicky little guys love the Cowboy Cookout, Big Texas Steak Tips Dinner, and Colossal Chicken Dinner. Don't care what you call them they gobble it down like they are starving [they are not]. Mealtime is not an ordeal any more. We don't use the groomer and no sense trying to train a Chihuahua..............right? read more

My dogs came home looking very cute, but shortly after I noticed they still had some matting in their fur and some areas clearly were not trimmed. Ended up having to do a great deal of touch up at home. That said this could be a clarity issue on my part. The staff were very nice and prices very reasonable. read more

Their grooming staff is always super friendly. They are the epitome of above and beyond. I love how they always remember my dogs name and make me super comfortable with leaving her under their care. I do not recommend the self serve dog wash. My dog is about 65 lbs and knee height. Therefore she was a little taller than the "walls" of the self service dog wash causing me to get rather wet. The water source was only at a Luke warm temperature while squealing a high pitched noise, which frightened my dog. Also the nozzle is basically the same consistency of water flow as a garden hose. It was not beneficial and I will continue to just bathe my dog at home. The grooming staff was super helpful and I will continue to take my dog here for her nail trimming and buffing because she loves going to see them! read more

Jen is wonderful! My terrier has been going to her since the moment we got him as pup! She's so talented in what she does! Not only are her skills and knowledge on point but she's genuine and never hesitates to give me a tip about grooming or any other "terrier quarks"! First off I'd like to mention that the new remodel looks great! So much more organized, clean and open. We usually go to Petco to purchase our dog food (Blu Gluten Free) and have never been disappointed with the customer service. I wanted to mention that my son received a salt water fish tank for xmas and he went with his dad yesterday to get all the necessary supplies to get it started. The gentlemen that assisted him was beyond helpful..even recommending less expensive alternatives (that didn't need to be purchased at Petco). He was honest, fair and friendly!!
