I first came to Progressive Motion because of a long-standing knee injury that had been bothering…read moreme for years. I never really considered seeing a physical therapist until I started working with Dr. Joey, and I'm so glad I did. During my sessions, we worked through targeted exercises and drills, along with cupping therapy, to improve my mobility and reduce pain. Dr. Joey took the time to educate me on the root causes of my issues and provided video demonstrations of exercises I could continue doing at home. Over time, I noticed a significant improvement in my range of motion and a reduction in pain, especially with everyday activities like bending down and picking things up from the floor. Now that Dr. Joey and Dr. Josh have opened their new facility in Redwood City, I've been able to continue my strength training while also rehabbing my knee in their gym. What really sets Progressive Motion apart is the integrated approach they offer. Not only do you have access to exceptional physical therapy, but there are also in-house personal trainers available to help guide you through your workouts. The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive. Whether you have questions about exercise form, movement mechanics, or injury prevention, there is always someone available to help. It's reassuring to know you're surrounded by Licensed massage therapists, physical therapists, and personal trainers/strength coaches who share a common philosophy. As well as, individuals who genuinely care about helping you move and feel better. I highly recommend Progressive Motion to anyone looking for physical therapy, injury recovery, or simply a supportive environment to improve their strength and overall movement quality.

My therapist is also working on improving my balance at 82 years old. This is my fourth time for various other physical issues over the last 15 years and I've had great results each time. The billing is based on the doctor's CPT codes, so that means they can bill you anything and you won't know the total payment until receiving the invoice. You don't have any choice to decide if you would like to go to the appointment based on the cost before going. I went to my first appointment and thought it was just finding my issues and the causes. The provider was Tanvi Mamtora. During the appointment, I was asked to do all kinds of the postures and tests to identify my problems. I was billed Manual Ther Tech 1+Regions - 97140 (CPT®) $175.00 and Pt Eval Low Complex 20 Min - 97161 (CPT®)$374.00 And the doctor was asking me to practice certain movements to do it at home everyday. I thought that was a demonstration but I was billed as Therapeutic Exercises Ea 15 Min - 97110 (CPT®) $178.00. If I know they charge like this, I never would like to go to the appointment. I rather use the money to Yoga or Pilates class since the fee is more reasonable and effective to cure my issue. I am trying to disputing the bill and I feel it is like a long path full of troubles. I have to back and forward to call/chat the insurance company and message/call PAMF billing. They said based on their internal research, the codes are all correct and ask me to appeal the claim again if I don't agree. It is still ongoing issue. I wish this review can help people who just got referral to see the physical therapy. Please be aware of it.

Diablo West Review…read more WOW! I am a lucky man! I was rear-ended at high speed and spent 6 hours in the hospital. My doctor prescribed physical therapy for my back and legs. I picked Diablo West for the PT because it was close to my house. After my first 3 visits with Audrey Ang at Diablo West, I feel great and would drive anywhere in the Bay Area to continue if I lived elsewhere. Diablo West is a small, wonderful environment with open spaces and private therapy rooms. Plenty of free parking. Audrey Ang is easy to talk to, completely understands me and my needs, and communications and teaches very clearly and completely. I have had 2 previous PT professionals with broken bones many years ago. Both were good, but if I had to rank them on a 1-10 scale, the other two would get a 5 and Audrey would get a 10+++. My injuries from the car accident are almost completely repaired, and many of my physical problems over the past years are significantly improved. I already feel like a healthy, younger man. Thank you Audrey!! I am lucky to have found you for physical therapy. If you need PT, go see Audrey Ang at Diablo West in Menlo Park.
