We went to this pub in the evening we got our first drinks nicely the first time round. When we wanted the next set of drinks another bar tender - bald Irish dude (or at least has an Irish accent) had joined the one that served us at first. This bar tender mostly ignored us and eventually after we got his attention and he came to our side, the first thing I said was thank you for coming to get our orders. He left right away, I suppose he didn't careless for our gratitude... very strange. We left after that as he was not going to serve us. Well, there you have it. I will not be returning to this pub and I would say stay away by all means. read more

Great bar in midtown if you want a bar for drinking. If you're looking for specialized martinis or a place to be seen with the in crowd look elsewhere. But if you like great bartenders who pour strong drinks and good sports coverage then this is the place for you. It is an interesting eclectic crowd that ranges from suits to laborers to groups of euro tourists stopping in for a pint or three. Decent beer selection but not a 50 tap bar. Also, it is a Yankees, Man U, and a Oakland Raiders bar, so be forewarned. read more

The Guiness was Not served in a proper glass, which I hate and it was not that great (had much better in Characters) and the music was way too loud, but the George Best stuff was the "BEST" and the staff were very friendly so I will be back for seconds but just not for the black stuff. read more

This pub was perfect. I was catching up with an old friend and we needed a place to hang out before going to a show. The atmosphere was warm, it was not crowded, and the drinks were cheap. After two drinks, the bartenders gave us a round of free drinks. After 10 pm on Fridays it's karaoke night, and it was actually a lot of fun to listen to. They don't make food, but they have a collection of menus from nearby restaurants and they will order for you. read more

Had some friends visiting and also friends from CT visiting so we tried to find a bar near Grand Central. Luckily we found this one. Karaoke was a great entertainment along with the well-priced drinks. The atmosphere is so laid back and chill, not like most bars I've been to in the city. Pool table is in there but lucky if you get a shot to play. read more

Was here July 2013. I hadn't had a beer for a good 2 weeks (or so it seemed) The wife and kids and I went looking for ice cream....I found Peter Dillons. Needless to say I sent them on their ice cream journey. Walked in and sat down to a very friendly atmosphere and a great bartender with a terrific attitude. I cant remember his name but he and his wife had just had a baby and lived in Queens. Nice guy, and this bar will always come to mind when I think of NYC! This place is the spot if your either A. a Raiders Fan B. a Good time fan cause this bar is both. Love the atmosphere in this small but extremely charismatic and charming Irish bar. John who I visit on Sundays is an amazing guy and a great bartender and always takes care of everybody. Place definitely gets rowdy but that is how Raiders fans are. I went to Peter Dillon's twice during my latest stay in New York. First time was to watch the Euro 2012 final. Not a huge crowd, so I got a seat at the bar. Bartender was a short, balding, irish (?) fellow. Very good service; efficient, polite, and all round good guy, it seemed. Second time was just to have a few drinks. Different bartender, but still good. I will definately go back to Peter Dillon's next time I'm in New York. read more

I love this place with a passion. The bartenders are very welcoming, the happy hour drink specials are reasonable, and everyone is friendly. Barry is one of my favorite bartenders ever. He is fantastic. Mark is cool as well and their replacements are always nice. I used to bring dates here. I brought my girlfriend here for our first date and second date and we've been together 7 months since. Come here to watch a game, play pool, anything. Also great music playing in the background and occasionally on weekdays they have a cover band come after 10 PM. read more

My favorite pub on the East Side. Declan the bartender is fantastic, as is Fiona the waitress. Great place for after work drinks, even though it can get a little packed. One of the better happy hour deals near Grand Central. My coworkers and I came here around 5:30 on a Friday once to grab a quick beer. Some of the other places around our office don't have happy hour specials, so we figured we'd give this one a shot. They offer 4 dollar pints of Blue Moon, which I was a huge fan of. Also, there wasn't a credit card minimum, which is another plus. The decor is typical of a standard American sports pub, with wooden panelling, TV's at the bar, and stools. They also had a pay for money pool game going on, which was cool. Most things around Grand Central are somewhat upscale, so it was refrreshing to see something different. The only con I had with this place was that while a pool game is going on, sitting or standing in that general area means that you will likely have to move around a bit to avoid the cues from hitting you in the face. read more

So as I was walking around the block thinking about where I was going to watch my Falcons play the Raiders...I stumble on this gem. I knew it was fate and couldn't wait to put on my red and black. I walk in just as kickoff begins to a packed house of Raiders fans booing me like I was wearing an ISIS jersey. It was then I felt like I really made a great choice. I went back and forth with the regulars for the entire game. I was the only other person in the bar that wasn't a Raiders fan...Glorious. At the end of the day several of the patrons came to shake my hand and give respect for me coming in. I'd have to say the feeling was mutual because when you are a fan, why not act like it, and these were diehard Raiders fans. It was all love by the end of the night and I had a blast. The cherry on top was the $4 beers and the quick service. My waitress was awesome and had the energy of a stick of dynamite. For the rest of the time I'm in NYC, this is where I will watch the games. Peter Dillons has possibly the worst karaoke person. My friend and I signed up for karaoke and the woman said we should be up in "1hr...no 45 min"...an hour and a half later she still had not called us. When we went up to her again she was extremely rude and continued to lie to us saying we would be up any minute. She waited 40 minutes between each karaoke and played terrible music inbetween. Will not be going back there due to that old witch. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR. At first it seemed nice, pretty boring but had the sports games playing.. We bought a couple rounds of shots. My mother asked for another round, and the bartender ignored us. She was a short blonde woman, and probably around her early 30s. My Mom gestured towards her to get her attention. Once she realized the bartender refused to come to us, my mother apologized Incase she offended her. The bartender then laughed in her face and said I am not going to serve you. When I told this girl that she was wrong for saying that, she immediately talked back to me repeatedly in a rude manner, so we left. I deal with customers and work in customers service , and personally , if she can't deal with that, she shouldn't have this job. What she did was unacceptable; we did nothing wrong and we were not intoxicated. Just a family going to a bar trying to have a good time, and this bar made sure that didn't happen. read more
