I stumbled across this Irish Pub with a Rooftop view of the street by chance looking for a coffee shop. The rooftop view appealed to me much more than hanging out in a coffee shop. Since my favorite beer is Guinness. Figured it was time to get it while waiting for a friend at the theater nearby. I was glad that the waitress at the bar downstairs was really friendly and gave me directions to take the elevator up to the rooftop. I didn't realize this pub was shared with another pub next door. The elevators was located in between the 2 pubs. While getting to the elevator, it seems there was an attendant that brought guests up on the cozy little elevator. Though, there were no attendants later in the day. The waitress mentioned I could bring my glass up with me to the roof. So I did. Overall, I enjoyed my time overlooking the busy street while sipping my beer. read more

Hostess downstairs - extremely rude and impatient. Little short lady on the rooftop - even more rude. Bartenders - FIVE of them will ignore tf out of you until they have no choice but to speak to you because some finance bros came and called the bartenders over. Thought it was because I'm a woman but then this older Caucasian woman came to sit next to me and they came to her right away (I'm a woman of color). I even had to flail my arms just to get the tab and I can tell that it's their routine to ignore a certain demographic. I was only here because my friend had to meet up with my work colleagues so I thought I would grab a seat at the bar and enjoy a quick burger before heading out for birthday festivities. The burger and fries were good and the rooftop is nice. I have no desire to return but it's probably what they want. read more

While I was visiting New York, my coworker back home sent me on a mission to find a specific Irish beer since they just got back from Ireland. Apparently this beer is not as common in New York, but there were a couple Irish pubs that still sold them on draft and luckily there was one nearby my hotel. Very cool place! It's easy to miss walking by but once inside there's a bar on the main floor, restaurants in the next floor and a rooftop bar several stories up. The rooftop bar is a huge open atmosphere and once seated you have about 40 beers on tap to select from. The staff is incredibly friendly as well and knew exactly what I was looking for. Solid beer lineup at this easily accessible pub in Manhattan. I've found the beer scene sometimes s touch difficult to find what I want, but this is one of the good ones. Two urinals, but cannot get by if someone is already using the one closest to the door, so a bit of bathroom ballet is needed. read more

This is a decent pub that's located close to Times Square. We came here with some friends in November and we had a good time overall. We ate at the rooftop bar and our drinks were tasty. I had a plate of Brussels sprouts as I wasn't too hungry and they could have been cooked a bit longer (I know, not the best thing to grab at an Irish pub, but I was pretty full already). We came for my mom's birthday! My mom was overjoyed with her meal! The falafel bites were surprisingly good for a non Mediterranean restaurant. A bit salty for my taste but overall very good and filling. Quesadillas -crispy tortilla which was a different touch. Not bad but if you're in a health kick I'd stay away. After our tie with Liverpool, we stayed for several rounds of drinks. Connor our server was great, very friendly and super nice. Came for dinner after a show. We decided to so on the rooftop section. Music was not too loud where we couldn't hear each other. We shared some appetizers the pretzel, onion rings, and chicken tenders. I had the chicken pot pie and my friends shared the steak and shrimp.( the steak and shrimp come with a sauce on top so if you don't like that ask for it on the side ) the pretzel was soft and well salted. The onion rings were lightly battered and crispy and the chicken strips were tender and flavorful. The pot pie I was very happy with could use a bit more salt for my states but it was filling and recharged well in the toaster oven the next day. My friend enjoyed their stark and shrimp. Once I saw that Irish Pubs were a thing in New York I immediately added it to my must try on our visit! The Perfect Pint was a short distance from our hotel and it looked delicious online. Luckily the hype met the taste! You have the option to eat the typically bar looking oub on the bottom or their roomier option on the roof with both covered and uncovered options. Go to the roof! It was so cute up there! I sadly did not get a beer and am kicking myself but I did get the amazing fish and chips! You get a huge piece of moist crispy fish that just hits the spot! This is a nice pub restaurant but if you're looking to be seated you better get there before 5 PM. We arrived 4:45 PM were immediately seated. the rooftop seating was a little confusing as you would have to go through the bar attached up their stairwell to get to the roof. I later learned they were the same restaurant or same kitchen two different names. About 5:05 PM if a lot of people nonstop came to these two locations waiting in line to get in. The decor is traditional pub style a lot of pictures of celebrities and patrons, a long bar, pub seating and standard tables. The best thing they have going are meal deals, two entrées for $20.22(6/2022). We didn't order from that menu as the prices are quite reasonable. Not only the prices are reasonable the food is very good I ordered the coconut curry chicken requested extra spicy, I would highly recommend it. My fish tacos as an appetizer were very good with a large piece of fish and tasty sauce. If you are a beer drinker they have more than enough options. As for the negative I gave my server the check he sat it on the bar in front of 3 unknown people for 15 minutes unattended while I watched. Not good or safe. Would I go again? We are staying nearby and decided to try it out. We've had Connolly's for breakfast and Perfect Pint felt like a good place for dinner. Their roof roots area is so nice. It's enclosed and has such a cozy, inviting vibe. The soft pretzels were delish. Cocktail was cold. The salmon was perfect. The Caesar salad was great too.
