I couldn't imagine myself going anywhere else for service! Today in particular, the service area opened at 7:30am and they had me come in at 7:50 (as soon as we spoke!). A shuttle just happened to pull up as I dropped off my car and i immediately got a ride home from a very nice man. My car was done 2 hours later (found leak and patched it and also gave me an oil change). The shuttle came to get me right away! I want to say my service advisor Jessica was awesome and I'd love to work with her any-day. And that goes for everyone I came in contact with. Repairs are so much less stressful with service like this and I'm so glad I started working with a dealership for my repair and service needs ... 180 degree difference from going to a shop and in the best way.

She is completely professional, helpful, responsible, and easy to deal with. I am sure she is very successful at her work because she does it so well. Also, in dealing with a couple of minor issues on a previously owned vehicle I purchased, I too dealt with Melissa, and she offered completely acceptable resolutions to minor issues related to the sale, and needed to be adjusted. Absolutely entirely pleased with the sales process and how I was treated, and the vehicle is one of the best I have owned with no mechanical flaws whatsoever. Just routine maintenance as recommended in the owner's manual, and I have had carefree driving for near 130,000 miles and going strong My car has been a very durable, reliable, and quality-built vehicle. While WH Cadillac does not have the glitzy "shock and awe" gleaming glass and steel showroom of the Mercedes-Benz concession in Clarence, or the Lexus dealer in Amherst, who the hell cares? While my car was being worked on, I waited in their customer lounge, which was very comfortable and well-equipped with free WiFi and plenty of charging outlets, which allowed me to get some work done on my laptop. Also has a coffee machine, and a water dispenser etc. They also sent me a streaming link so I could actually watch my car being serviced in real time. I was told the repair would take a couple of hours and that I'd be contacted when it was complete. I later received a call pushing the timeline back even further. However, when I returned two hours before that updated estimate, my car was already finished and sitting in the lot. Staff had no explanation and only confirmed after checking with staff that it had been done for quite some time without anyone notifying me. To make matters more confusing, there was also internal miscommunication about the repair itself. At one point, someone questioned who had approved a new tire as if it were a "custom part," which only added to the lack of clarity and confidence in their process. More recently, I brought my car in due to concerning brake noises. I was initially told there was no availability for two weeks. After explaining that I rely on my car for work and didn't feel safe driving it, they suddenly found space earlier. I was told I would receive an update around 5 PM after dropping it off at 11am. Once again, I never heard from anyone and had to call myself. I then had to rush to pick up a loaner vehicle, only to be told that my car hadn't even been looked at because they chose to prioritize a larger project. Had I not followed up, I would have had no way to get to work the next day. I am now left driving a loaner with no clear timeline for when my vehicle will even be inspected. Consistent lack of communication, poor organization, and disregard for customers' time make this an unreliable place for service. I strongly recommend going elsewhere. Update: They didn't fix what was wrong with my vehicle and fixed another aspect of my car. The noise I raised concern for came back TWO hours after picking up my vehicle. Before i picked up my car I had to call them to question when was the estimate time i'd receive my car back. When I brought it back I was asked to take it on a test drive with the tech where he proceeded to say yea I wasn't able to replicate that noise but it's really concerning... I have time to look at it today. (this was a Friday). Come Tuesday i haven't heard anything from them and decided to call ONCE AGAIN for any update on my car and the girl proceeded to tell me parts were ordered. I questioned why I have to continue to call them for updates on my car and what was the reason I was unaware my car needed certain parts or what repair is being made. She had no answer other than my advisor should have called and she's not in on Monday's. It was failed due to ripped windshield wipers, which would be fine if they offered a reasonably priced fix. Instead, they tried to charge me almost $80 for a pair of wiper blades--a 100% markup over what local automotive part stores charge. With people struggling financially lately it is my opinion that this is very unreasonable. You can go to any local automotive parts store and find windshield wipers for anywhere $20.00 - $40.00, installed for free. In my opinion,​ using state inspections as an opportunity to price-gouge repeat customers is completely unacceptable. For number three-hundred, I landed on West Herr Ford of Hamburg: ** We have had our trusty family trucker'ster, our much-loved 2012 Mazda 5, since we bought her brand new in 2011. ** But she had almost 130K miles, and was starting to give us some nagging issues. ** I literally cried, and cried hard, parting with my beloved Mazda 5. :-( #RIPMazda5 ** But West Herr Ford of Hamburg was there to soften the blow from losing my dearly departed. ** I started our West Herr journey entirely online, first confirming I could get the financing I wanted; the online application and communication was fast. ** Then we shopped around entirely online for a vehicle that met our requirements; the online filtering and saving was also very easy. ** I was in email communication with John Foster and Bill Pease, who were very fast and helpful in snagging the specific car we wanted to see, and setting up the test drive. ** Buying during pandemic times, Bill and John were also totally accommodating to keep our interactions as contact-free and sanitized as possible. ** When we decided to purchase the vehicle, Bill and John were also fantastic to hold it for another week for us, so we could make a larger down payment and improve our financing. ** Negotiations were all by phone and online as well; in the end we came to a fair price and great deal that met our financing needs, and got us the vehicle that met the needs of our family. ** When it was time to pay and sign, Bill and John were again very patient and accommodating to have all of the paperwork finalized, so we simply had to sign and pay our down payment. It was a lot of papers to sign, but they put us in a private sanitized room, and it did not take long. ** We left the vehicle for some additional work, and once that was done a few days later, a couple of very friendly West Herr guys delivered it right to our home. Thanks Dylan and Dylan's pick-up ride! ;-D ** And so far, so good, #KnockOnWood!, with our new-to-us sweet wheels! ** We went with a 2017 Chevy Equinox LT; we wanted a bit more car this time around than the Mazda 5, just enough to haul our pop-up camper or bikes. The 2.4L engine Equinox LT CUV was just right! ** She's a sweet, cool white paint job, which was perfect since I prefer a lighter color car ... but she's her own thing because she has a black pinstripe! I've been watching carefully at other white Chevy Equinox LTs on the road since we picked her, and have yet to see another with a black pinstripe. :-D So LOTS of thanks and appreciation to John, Bill, Dylan and other guy :-), and Eric Miller (the financing guy), for making this all happen for our fam'! I am grateful for your patience with my email questions, your fair dealings, your pandemic precautions, and all of your collective time and effort. Friend put additional $5 grand in repairs and sold it on fb marketplace for a lousy $3,500. to an out of state buyer where it would pass inspection with the welded frame. My opinion of westherr is even worse than in my initial review. They suck beyond belief. I drive by and give them a single finger salute. Can't understand how such an unethical rip off lying business can do so well. Its not what you know, it's whose hands you grease. Thieves. If I could leave a negative 5 stars I definitely would.

So much so I will never go there again unless it's something only covered under some of their extra warranties I purchased. One of the reasons for my disappointment, which was driving me insane, is that they provided NO explanation as to why one of my car features was not working according to what my owner's manual stated it should do. When I picked my car, I looked the woman dead in the eye and said "it says it right in the owner's manual!" And she just looked at me like "yea I don't care please leave". And no, I was not rude, I just wanted someone to listen to me and explain why it wasn't functioning. I tried calling 2 other dealerships and they did not answer the phone. Finally, this dealership took my call. They transferred me to service immediately, and then transferred me to Gary who was best equipped to answer my question. Gary took all of the time necessary to research why my car wasn't doing what the manual said it should do. He was patient and just as curious as I was! He figured it out at after looking up my VIN number and checking the code on the part. He explained it to me and even sent me an email so I could see for myself. Super nice, super professional, and plain old good at what he does. If this location wasn't 30 minutes away from me I would 100 percent come here for every single vehicle need based on this experience. These are my kind of people! I showed up for my appointment on time and it took 3 employees and 10 minutes to find someone to help me and the other woman waiting with me for an appointment (the manager who set up the appointment with me was nowhere to be found despite confirming the appointment with me twice that day). It seemed like complete chaos. No one was to be found to help us despite several employees walking past us and multiple asking if we'd been helped, seeminglt gling to look for someone to help us. And then nothing happening. This happened 3 times before we finally had someone to help us. Luckily Brooks was fantastic in helping me out - he's the only reason this location receives any stars quite frankly. He was very professional and helpful in letting me test drive and helping me get a great deal.
