I've been going to pizza barn for years, they're one of the best places to eat in the Peterborough area, i've found their subs are abit iffy depending on the day, but the pizza never disappoints, its never over cooked or under sauced or anything like that were you'd find issues at other pizza places. My mom and I came from California to visit my grandma. We stopped for lunch at Pizza Barn yesterday and had a great experience. My mom ordered a roast beef sandwich, which was rare, just the way she wanted it! I ordered a personal pineapple pizza and we both got a drink. The service was quick, and I've been here a handful of times and had the same experience. In the past, I've gotten a veggie sandwich, which was also very delicious. I like the bread and they included many veggies on my sandwich! I'd definitely come here again, and recommend stopping if you're in the area. read more

I am not just one to hand out in five stars like its no big thing. You all know this is true. What we have here at the Pizza Barn is something special. The steak and cheese is a life changer, in more ways than one. By that I mean you might have a heart attack but you also might have the greatest night of your life after eating one. The funny thing about the Barn is that they don't have a griddle, they just cook everything right it in the pizza oven. The pizza is Greek style cooked in a pan. It is not at all like the New York-style thin crust. Its a different kind of pizza with a nice firm crust, zesty sauce and ample cheese. I recommend the Hawaiian, West Peterborough style with bacon and pineapple. I also recommend the Barn burners, whether as a sub or as a chicken tender-type scenario with some sort of potatoes cut into French style fries. During the summer months they also have an ice cream take out set up that seems to placate those who want to take a cone to their dome. Plus they got Arkanoid so bring some quarters. Best pizza I've had in the Monadnock region. Went in on a Friday night to order takeout at least 25 customers in and out picking up while we waited the 20 minutes for our pizzas- guess it just took us a while to find this hidden gem. Wife loved her gluten free pizza, her comment being "this gluten free crust doesn't taste like cardboard." And if you've had a gluten free pizza before you know this IS a compliment. read more

I love their steak and cheese it is flavorful and they make it just how you want it. The bread is amazing to I am sure any sub is good. Pizza is good specially if you love a thicker crust and a good amount of sauce. The service is always timely and prices reasonable. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, I can't say that about all the staff behind the counter. Atmosphere is a little lacking but the food makes up for it. read more

I grew up in this area, and I've been all over the world. I always have to come here to get my grinder fix. Roast Beef with provolone cheese...mmm. Their bread is amazing. It's crusty and it holds in the flavor. I hate grinders with soft bread. Also, the roast beef is amazing, usually roast beef is really salty, but this tastes like it's cooked on site. read more

We've tried this place a half dozen times over the years for pizza and subs. If you like good Italian pizza, this place is not for you. It's greek dough, however its unlike any greek dough I've ever encountered. The amount of grease that drips off of their pizza is enough to actually pool up in the box. The flavor is okay, but it's not enough to outweigh the grease. We've tried their subs once. My steak and cheese had the same problem. The grease was so bad it ended up wetting a hole in the bag before we got it home. There are far better choices out there for pizza in the Peterborough area. If greasy pizza is your thing (and some folks do like it) then Pizza Barn is for you. If you want authentic, try Grappelli's. read more

I've been eating Pizza Barn grinders since I was a kid and they were located in Winchendon, MA and I love their food. No one has better grinders than the Pizza Barn!! Their grinder rolls are what makes them special. And they don't skimp on the fillings/toppings like other "franchise" sub shops do. Everything is made to order, just how you like it! I've gotten pizza and salads here many many times. I usually have no complaints. In fact it is typically pretty good. Unfortunately I just received my first sandwich and am terribly disappointed. I won't go there again. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap to-go. Once I got back to my office to eat it I have discovered that all the chicken is badly burnt. So burnt that it should have been remade. Surely the owners must not have made this wrap, else they would have remade it. No business owner would serve this burnt meal and ever expect to get a repeat customer. I'm sorry all the chefs at this establishment aren't as conscientious. read more

They are great, the food and the price outstanding. The sub rolls are the best to me love their steak and cheese subs. A large sub costs seven and quarter it is more everywhere else I visit. I keep coming bsck here for the great food and the value. read more

Sorry to say that this dump makes the most disgusting food in New England. We ordered a pizza, tuna sub & chicken fingers for our family. Trust me, my kids will eat anything but they would not eat their meals from this place. The chicken was gushing grease, the tuna sub had that brown mayo crust indicating it was far from fresh, I think the pizza tasted like it came out of a vending machine. Worst of all, when we tried to return all of the "so called food" the counter guy was really angry & kept trying to get us to order something else. We got out of there with a partial refund & will certainly never go back. read more
