Meehhhhh long time staple is now probably the most tire pizza and sub place in town. Still makes a mean sub, wings and pizza but I would take to go i wouldnt eat here, there are boxes every where inside, I only take to go and can't help but notice the musty smell and taste with everything I order. When we first started going here, they were on Main Street in an old Mansard roof Victorian house, which was about 45 years ago. Still good food, good friendly service. Subs, wraps, pizza, all the same quality we have been accustomed to over the years. The ice cream is excellent! Give it a try if you are in Peterborough, eat in or take out. read more

I've stopped in a few times and I've always had a good meal. They give enough food for leftovers. My spouse and I have tried their spaghetti and meatballs and sausage, as well as their garden salad, chicken parm, and brownies. All very good. The staff and owner deliver outstanding service. Tonight we did something different and didn't actually get pizza from the Pizza Barn. All of us got their fantastic roast beef subs. They roast and cut it themselves, and I've never tasted roast beef as good as what they cook. They pair it with cheese, fresh tomato and lettuce, mayonnaise or oil, and put it on bread that'd be a treat to eat all by itself. Their pizza is our favourite, but they're versatile and they have a bunch of good stuff on their menu. And they're serious about keeping their employees and customers safe, wearing masks and using a cool plexiglass barrier to pass out your order. We're really glad Peterborough Pizza Barn has found a way to stay open. Tony and his crew are awesome. read more

Lack of customers customized orders... example 'no mushrooms' and mushrooms being added. $10 vegetarian grinder with bread and sprinkles of veggies despite asking for additional veggies being added. It's a 50/50 chance of satisfaction personally. When my family orders from PPB which is maybe every other month if that I feel like I'm playing the lottery, Tonight I specified for more veggies and again I'm disappointed. So after 21 years as an adult I'm leaving a review. Customer service is lacking in the food industry and I'm sad again to just not have an appetite for what I ordered because I guess my expectations are too high. read more

Meh, at best. Lived in Pboro for over 40 years. I've seen Pizza Barns quality go up and down. Sometimes good sometimes not to good. But won't be going back. In the time period of 3 months I've order one requested specialty item 3 times and paid three different prices and the last time I was chastised by who I think was the owners son for ordering it. Nice family type atmosphere pizza place. Prices you can't beat especially for fried food! My wife liked her gluten free pizza, while my son enjoyed his wings. I had the cod nuggets which came with fries and coleslaw. We will be back to try the pizza since we all liked our meals. read more

This is Greek pizza. You should take that in for a minute because I HATE Greek style pizza so 3 stars for this is the highest compliment Greek pizza will ever get. So if you LIKE Greek pizza, you'll love this place. They are open pretty late when THE REST OF THE TOWN SEEMS TO JUST SHUT DOWN and the staff is monumentally friendly. Great folks really. I came here one night and ordered a small pizza with onion and tomato. I got the pizza and I could not eat it. There had to of been. 3/8 of n inch of onions. And a few tomatoes. I took one bite and spit it out asked for a box. Boxed it up and through it in the bed of my truck to be thrown out later. I just don't like to bitch in person. Not fancy but GREAT food! I love eggplant parmesan and order it at just about every Italian place I visit. This place has the best. Better than some much fancier (and $$$) places. Antipasto is great too. Eggplant and antipasto has become one our favorite Italian dinners -- and for under $20! This place was great!!! My husband and I stopped here after a quick little shopping trip and I was pretty impressed. It does not look like much from the outside, but you can tell it is a good place to eat since there are a bunch of cars in the parking lot! My husband got a sub, I got a small pizza, and we split french fries and cheese sticks. Everything was fabulous and the service was so great! The man (possibly the owner) who seemed to be running the show was so friendly and charming! I would definitely drive out of my way to come here! My husband's parents live a town or so over and it is a 25 minute drive through nothing to get here, but SOOOOO worth it!!! read more

It was always a treat to bring my girls here when they were little. They are all in their 40s now and I am 60 something, but oh my! we still love this place! The owner is wonderful and we have never had a pizza we did not love. I'm sad that Covid has cut down on reliable staff which undoubtably has impacted your business. We had a small half pepperoni and half extra cheese pizza and also a steak and cheese grinder. The pizza was alright, I am more of a fan of the Neapolitan style BUT the grinder was amazing. I honestly I would have ordered one for myself since it was SO yummy I could have had it all. read more

I am ASHAMED of myself for having never 'yelped' Pizza Barn.... Ive gone here my whole life since single digit age.... MANY family memories are around a large cheese at PPB. My best friend and I used to go here on Friday nights to have a large cheese and a soda. EVERY.... SINGLE... Person ive ever dated has become an addict here because of me... And my wife and I still trek over an hour to go here. When we tell our 6 and 4 year olds we're going to Peterborough Pizza they cheer..... Literally... Ive watched the owners age fer cripe sakes!!! 1 of the 2 owners once hand delivered our pizza to the table, we thanked him and he stood there for a second with his hands on his hips looking at our cheese pizza... Thinks a second and says "yeah... It came out really good didnt it?"..... There's something to be said for that kind of pride. Anyway. My wife is a sausage & onion fan... Anywhere else cheese pizza isnt my 1st choice. At PPB there is just SOMETHING about a large cheese that makes the world better. The subs/grinders are always top notch. Ive briefly even discussed buying the place with the owner not because i want to own a business but because I will probably literally cry the day this place changes. Pizza Barn has the best grinders of anyone in town! There is something about the bread that makes their sandwiches delicious! The hot vegetarian grinder is superb, and all of the pizzas are yummy too! The pizza is sometimes a bit greasy, but I love it and prefer it over any other pizza place in P-town. read more

Best pizza in the area. It didn't look like much from the outside, so we never went there until this past week. Too bad... we should have been here sooner. We just ordered a large Hawaiian pizza, not sure what to expect. It was nice and thick, properly cooked, and covered with toppings. Been Eating pizza barn food back when it was on main st in peterborough (not many on here probably remember that ) and have been eating at the pizza barn every tuesday and thursday YES EVERY tuesday and thursday for over 26 years. Times have changed from the crowd that was working there in the late 80s but the food hasent .!! Tony and Arty are great people and always on top of there game. The only down side to the place is they cant keep up with the menu LOL I've had everything they have to offer off it . I guess in the long run thats not a bad problem for them to have. Gotten take-out from here a few times (never dined in), always pizza, although reading about how great the grinders (subs) are I've got to try them next!! The pizza is always consistently good, nothing wildly special but great pizza for the area. They also have gluten-free pizza crusts so when we have company who can't eat gluten, we get take-out pizza from here. The last thing I got was a tomato & basil pizza, no cheese (I don't eat dairy), & it was fabulous. Cheese-less pizza can be pretty brand but the sauce just made this pizza sing! Thinly sliced tomatoes & just dried basil - who would have thought! I've made cheese-less tomato-basil pizza before with fresh, whole basil leaves & found that the herb ends up getting burnt if you don't put them under everything, so I appreciated the fact that they used dried basil.
