Second or third best pizza in town if you count black fire farm. Wings are probably my favorite and the wait time is the least out of all of the other locations. Sandwiches are shredded lettuce heavy but still a very good option. Chicken bacon ranch or buffalo chicken pizza are there two best pizzas with steak and cheese as one of the better ones in the area. There are a lot of places to order from in Peterborough. With as much competition as there is you'd think they would get orders right. Like the food here but tonight saw more people working than ever before , paid for two subs and two sides, got home and realized I got two subs and one side. Trying to keep money in town with non chain restaurants. Will not be ordering from here again anytime soon. Plenty of other places to get food. The pizza here is pretty good, but ordering van be a bit confusing. We have ordered pizza here three times now but this last time was odd. My husband always orders pepperoni and jalapeño with Greek or kalamata olives. This has never been a problem until this last time when I was told they don't do Greek or kalamata olives on pizza. This was odd because the last two times they had no problem putting them on the pizza. I tried explaining this to the man taking the order but he was positive this was not something they do. After this last experience the only time I would order pizza here again is if I was getting a cheese or one topping pizza. Not the best experience this time. Waited for half hour+ for a small with pepperoni & mushrooms. Finally had to go back to counter and ask the surly cashier how my pizza was doing. He grunted much like he did when we ordered. The fellow in the kitchen walked over to an oven area and picked up my pizza and brought it to me. The only reason this place gets 2 stars is the pie was actually quite good. So, if you like getting short- changed (wasn't much so I let it slide) and you enjoy bad tempered, snarling while you repeat your order 3 times and serve yourself then the Pizza Peddler is just your spot. I love the people and the food, but I can't go back until there's a vaccine, because neither the staff nor the customers understand why masks are important. Once there's a vaccine, try them out. Pizza is all about the dough. It's either really thin and crisp, like flatbread, or it has a fluffy, open rise, charred a bit from the oven and a nice crumb. Pizza Peddler's was flat, overworked dough that wasn't proofed, so pretty much what you get when you buy a frozen pizza. Cardboard-like in other words. Two stars for ok toppings. read more

Being relatively new to the area, one night we decided to check this place out. We'd never seen cars out front but thought it might be undiscovered. I LOVE pizza, but have only had about 3 pizzas in my life that I couldn't finish eating. This was one of them. Initially the smell of the pizza was "off" (veggie mushroom & onion). I'd never smelled anything like it and it flustered me the whole drive home. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I ate some of it. It felt really "off" and we never finished eating the whole pizza. Comment on the sit-down restaurant itself: cheap, beaten up, with other people's trash under the tables. Very nice Greek owner, but couldn't help but think the ingredients had gone off. So I had walked to the Pizza Peddler from the apartments down the street originally just to buy a few soft drinks. After seeing several customers come in and getting a wiff of their food, I was curious about how it tasted. I moved from Florida to New Hampshire, but just by word of mouth I've heard many good things about Pizza Peddler. After talking to the owner (who was a really nice guy, by the way), I was convinced to try one of their pizzas. I chose something simple. Just a small pepperoni pizza, but after taking a look at their menu, I decided to bring home my roommate a Greek salad. I can honestly say that I was glad I gave it a chance! That pizza was by far one of the best I've had in years, and it only took them maybe 6 minutes tops to cook it. The crust was golden brown and crunchy, the ingredients tasted fresh and the way it just melted in my mouth was amazing! I finally wrote this because my roommate picked up Domino's, and I can say, without a doubt in my mind, that the Pizza Peddler puts any and all of those big, corporate pizza places to shame! They didn't kill my bank account either! I don't really care for Greek salads, but my roommate enjoyed that a lot too, because every bit of it was obviously fresh and to be truthful, it was also a pretty large amount. Everyone there was really nice and welcoming as well, which made it that much better. I could tell from talking to the owner that he had a real passion for making REAL pizza (along with the cook too, he did a wonderful job), and thanks to them I can say that I now know what real pizza tastes like. Also, as a bonus, the cashier and owner helped me find the best cellphone carrier for the area. You guys at Pizza Peddler are awesome! Give them a try if you haven't. They make the best ham and provolone cheese sub with lettuce, tomato,pickles onions, and oil! And their pizza isn't bad either!

Pizza Peddler was awesome when Chris and his brother owned it. However, they sold it about 9 months ago and moved back to Greece. The first thing I noticed was the ingredients they now use in the pizza are different... it just doesn't have the same taste as Chris' formula. Also, the new owner seems to overcook the pizza, the top is crusty and brown, not like Chris used to make. I used to eat there everyday as I work nearby, then I dropped it down to just once in a while and now I rarely ever go there. I also liked the calzones and the chicken bacon ranch wrap. It's now on an even par with Grappelli's down the road towards town, never favored their pizza as it had very little, if anything, a cardboard like, bland taste. read more
