What's not to love about a store filled with chocolate? I'm mean, seriously chocolate. Dark, White, Milk, covering all sorts of goodies - pretzels, nutter-butters, potato chips - you name in, it's probably in there covered in chocolate. And the two staff working today were top notch! So helpful and informative. Convinced us to try a sample of their gelato - pineapple, mango, strawberry - on my delicious. So light and would be perfect on a hot summer day. It was a gorgeous color to boot. They have pre-packaged gift bags and boxes as well, which is great if you're looking for a tasty gift to give. They even now sell flavored coffees. I opted for a salted caramel truffle and my sister got chocolate covered pretzels. She asked if they had a variety pack with white and milk chocolate pretzels mixed, they do not, but offered to make her up one. She declined, but what great customer service! read more

Gelato will always win me over. The fact that this comes handmade from an actual chocolatier is EVERYTHING. The storefront is filled with treats of all kinds. Huge Easter arrangement is out as it is in two days. And a wall of chocolate letters so you can celebrate someone with a large hunk of chocolate in the shape of their first initial. Very cool! My son had the strawberry gelato, I had the mint chip and chocolate, and husband had the peanut butter and chocolate. The ingredients are definitely top tier. While out and about yesterday we stopped by Peterbrooke Chocolatier Oakleaf. I had never been to one before so this was a treat. There were so many different wonderful things to choose from. They asked us if we wanted to try their Gelato and of course we did. I tried their Strawberry, Mango, Pineapple and it was amazing. So refreshing. I ended up buying chocolate covered pretzel sticks. They were dipped in milk chocolate and drizzled with dark chocolate. They were very good. Ate 1 immediately and am saving the other one for another occasion. Probably today. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They wanted to make sure that we had what we wanted and then some. I will definitely go back to try other goodies. read more

Stopped into Peterbrooke today to get some chocolate. Man what can I hate about this place. Nothing. The lady inside was VERY helpful. This place is very clean. I love the programs they have for kids to come in and make there favorite sweets. I got a basket of chocolates for some ladies and man where they happy. You have to try the chocolate peanut brittle omg. I had to leave it was off the hook. Thank you for the great experience. I was bad and did not get her name. Peterbrooke is such a Jacksonville staple, and one we should be proud of as the brand has grown. Their chocolate covered popcorn will forever be the standard that I hold all other chocolate treats to-- the buttery and salty popcorn drenched in superb chocolate is the perfect treat. It's pricy, but well worth it and I often buy it to include with presents. The chocolate wines are fun and a unique gift, with small bottles packaged with a chocolate available and perfect for a small gift. These are often out to be sampled too! This particular location is close to home and a regular stop for gifts or at holiday times, so I didn't feel guilty when going in for the advertised free scoop of gelato with my kids today. We each got a different flavor (chocolate, pineapple sorbet and pistachio) and everyone was happy. But the woman helping us gave barely a greeting and did not attempt to interact at all, making me feel like it was a bit of an imposition. She may have just been having an off day, as I've never felt that way in the store before, but am usually spending money. We'll be back. read more

5 stars for their product alone! This is a cute little chocolate shop that offers individual items, gift baskets, gelato, and select wines. Today we went for one of their Chocolatier Camp classes. It was fun! It's only around an hour + depending on the number of children signed up. While the kids dipped and sprinkled, moms chatted and sampled treats. The ladies were so sweet and patient with the little chocolatiers. Each week has a theme. This week's theme was Independence Day, so the kids created with red, white, & blue sprinkles, and there was a starfish mold they got to decorate. The $25 covered the gift basket with several treats they decorated and wrapped, and a cup of gelato for the kids. It is a great deal and it was neat to see behind the scenes candy making. read more

Came in here and these ladies were absolutely lovely! They helped me custom make a birthday bin for my fiancé with no complaints. They actually got excited to swap out some chocolates and treats and rebuild it. They were so sweet the whole time and made sure we picked out stuff that he likes and I even kept the milk chocolate treats that we pulled from the main bucket for myself! The store was very clean and organized even after the holiday rushes nearly wiped them out. I will definitely be coming back here to this location In the near future! read more

Best place to go for all of your sweet-tooth needs. They've got a ton of selections that are great for you or as a gift for a friend or family member, plus they'll cover anything in chocolate if you bring it to them!! This is one of the more local, "homely" Peterbrooke's in the Jax area and I'm so happy they're near me! Beautiful Peterbrooke location, came during Christmas season where Santa was available for pictures with the kids. The kids got to take a picture and they gave a free special small treat for the kids. Also got to try dipping a pretzel rod in white chocolate. Get in on the rewards program! I love Peterbrooke Chocolate. However, this location should probably learn to stock enough bananas praline gelato. I don't care what day of the week you go, they are out of stock. It's ridiculous. If demand is that high, maybe try ordering more and more often. Sales would probably increase if you had this on hand daily. It is a shame to have to drive 45 minutes across town to get it. If I am going to do that I will take all of my chocolate needs to that location. read more

Kind and courteous , this small shop has lots to offer. The chocolate is some of the best on the market and is well worth stopping in to buy their chocolate . Yelp has them in the right shopping area but wrong building , but once you reach the area a simple phone call with yelps provided phone number , and they will politely give you directions to their shop. Disregard the comments by the 2 previous people, they obviously work there. This place does not have friendly employees. They ignored me when I walked in the door. I was never asked if I wanted any help. I don't usually buy chocolate from trendy places, I like the Mom and Pops stores who deliver in quality, but went in for the 50th anniversary "sale". I use the term sale very loosely though. The prices were supposed to be the same ones from the 50's on certain products. People who shopped there in the 50's must have been the rich ones only. I was very disappointed with the selection. The popcorn isn't even made there it was stale and gross. The chocolate sampler wasn't really a sampler because all of the chocolates were alike. They all had this creamy chocolate inside. Where is the variety? I will not ever waste my time shopping here again. There's a mom and pops chocolate place off Highway Road that is amazing!
