I have been to almost all of the Peterbrooke locations, but this one is stellar compared to the rest. Why? You ask..... Because of the sweet young lady who waited on me. She has a true people skill. She was kind and patient with me, even though there was a lady waiting to pay behind me. This store gets an A+ in my book. Tehlajah made our visit amazing. We were greeted with a smile and she put up with all of our chocolate questions She made recommendations based on our likes and we purchased about $60.00 worth of goodies. They had Chocolate wine on sale, sold. We bought dark chocolate Graham crackers, on Tehlajah recommendation, and some ginger cardamon coojies which I love, love, love. Located in the Shoppes of Northshore, the parking can be an issue but we were able to find a close parking space. The store itself is super tiny but they make really good use out of the small space. The decor is bright and colorful and changes seasonally. They sell a variety of sweets such as chocolate covered pretzels and popcorn, gelato, chocolate, gift baskets, etc. We came here for the gelato. While the gelato was very good, it was pricey for what you get. The smallest size cup was just under $4 each. The service was super friendly. read more

This is my first time at this location and it's a bit small but they used the space well. As soon as you walk in all you smell is the yummy chocolate. I came here today for the FREE gelato. Yup! Every Wednesday in July you can get yourself a free gelato. The flavors are limited but I got the Nutella and it was very good!! The service was all smiles and there's a few chairs they put outside so you can sit and enjoy your sweets. I'll be sure to stop by every Wednesday for this month. Lol read more

A great tip is take your own bottle of champagne or wine and they will dip it in chocolate for you. What a super gift for newlyweds or a new home... Peterbrooke is just one of those places that I HAVE to go to when I'm in Jacksonville. This is like chocolate heaven. They have a nice variety of chocolate here and I've tried almost everything. We bought about 55 bags of chocolate covered popcorn for our Hotel Welcome Bags for our wedding guests. It was the perfect addition to the welcome bag and the popcorn is DELICIOUS. They made our order and it was ready within 2 days. Each time we went to the store (once to order it all and once to pick up) I couldn't resist eating from the sample bowl on the counter.
