My DH and I stopped by Le Macaron on a search for Dubai Chocolate and they did not disappoint! Not only did they have a Dubai Chocolate Bar, but we also found some delicious pastries and (of course) Macarons! This darling shop is such a pleasure to visit. The cheery hot pink walls just make you feel happy from the minute you step in the door. Staff is always friendly and they were very accommodating in answering our questions about all of the various treats. The next time we are in the Riverside area, we will definitely be stopping by again!

Le Macaron French Pastries is such a cute shop in the 5 points area. They have a selection of macaron and chocolate that really are a nice treat. When I went on a Sunday, it wasn't super busy which was nice. I was able to review all the macaron and chocolates. I was able to create an awesome experience, and also learned a fun fact that they have ice cream as well. The macarons are very tasty but really sweet. I could honestly probably eat about one in a day to curb my sweet tooth. The chocolate is also very nice. Not as sweet with more dark chocolate options which I liked. The chocolate was absolutely beautiful to look at and had some unique options. I decided to purchase a few chocolates and about 6 macarons. Each flavor was very distinct and tasty. If I am back in this area, I would stop by again and buy more.

This is not my first time here & most definitely will not be my last. I ordered two coffees for myself & a friend and 6 macarons to share. We did not have a flavor that we didn't like! We even were given 4 free sample macarons by the sweet girl behind the counter. The place is small, but so wonderful.

Definitely quality made croissants that are perfectly dense and buttery. They are made in-house and are a must try if you come here. There's gelato, macarons, cake, pastries, gourmet chocolates, coffees and many other offerings at this quaint location in Avondale. This place is on the higher-end regarding prices, but what you would expect to pay for the area. The service was friendly enough. And asides from the guy at the register (owner? partner?) not knowing the prices of his products by heart and having to check the register for the cost of each item, it was an easy transaction. I am of the opinion that you should either know your prices or have them clearly marked near the product. Seriously. There's nothing more annoying. Spent ~ $10 for 3 croissants. Overall, I had a decent experience and I would most likely revisit this establishment.

Faith J. and I were out in about Riverside (Avalon particularly) for our once a week breakfast binge at The Fox, and afterwards we usually take a stroll to bask in the splendid scenery and some fresh air. We happened upon a little shop on the far corner that seemed new to the neighborhood, Le Macaron, and excitedly wandered in to check it out. Aesthetics. The owners are big on aesthetics. That's the first thing you will notice as your eyes behold the café in all its majesty. The onyx hardwood floor was an excellent choice to complement the bold pink hues of the walls and décor, topped off by the crystal chandeliers that really make the colors pop and give it that charming "café in France" ambience. We were delighted to see several tables set up outside, which means that our pup Viggo will be able to accompany us on future visits. The OMG: I wanted one of everything. EVERYTHING. From the appetizing fresh baked pastries to the wondrous array of mouthwatering chocolates, and of course the smooth velvety macarons, I wanted to gather it all up and call them "my precious." You've GOT to see the chocolates. Each piece is literally a handcrafted work of art. The vibrant colors and intricate designs really give each piece their own personality and sparkle. The macarons were equally plentiful in colors and flavors, and in the end it became a rather difficult task to decide on what goodies to try. Our final selections go as follows: The Chocolate Tart: GET THIS. It's sheer silky chocolatey perfection, and rich enough for two people to share. Not that you're going to want to, but I'm just saying. The Chocolate Croissant: I liked the soft, pillowy texture of the croissant, however I think it could have used a smidgen more chocolate to really make it a star. Chocolates: Faith chose the Mojito and I got the Chocolate Peanut Butter. We can personally attest that they taste as scrumptious as they look. Macarons: She picked Columbian Coffee and I got the White Chocolate Mint, and from the first delectable bite I was sold. The flavors aren't too overpowering, and not overly-sweet at the same time. The cookie itself was a cloud from the heavens with the perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture. Yes indeed, these are the real deal. We spoke with the owner and he has a very vibrant personality and quite happily answered all of our questions. I wanted to keep talking with him just to hear his awesome French accent, but that's just me. And so......GO HERE. As a baker I know all too well what a detailed and painstaking process it is to bring these creations to life. They aren't making pound cakes, Yeeps. The artistry alone makes the trip well worth it. Honestly I haven't seen chocolates this beautiful since my trip to Adam Turoni in Savannah, Georgia. They also serve various coffee drinks, teas and even gelato to cool you off on those hot days. Definitely take some time to stop in, welcome them to the neighborhood, indulge is some wickedly good treats, and till next time...SYOY and as always SUPPORT your local businesses!

Very nice shop to visit and splurge with a tasty macaron... love the service and attentive service. We could try all of the treats, but these are from France or made very traditionally and brought to this quaint but pink shop. I would recommend the coconut macaron and a very good cappuccino. You do spend a little more so treat yourself for the good stuff, don't expect anything less.

    Nice little bakery!

I came in to the store on on cold dark and rainy night. The gentleman approved for me to take a few snapshots of the store. It is not too big inside, but so cute and decorated that is pleasant to the eye. The bigger seating section is outside, nice when the weather is good. They had a very good selection of macarons available. I bought a couple of them and went on my way. I would definitely come back here for a nice treat agin, when I am in the area.

I guess today I was in a floral mood! Delicious rose macaron followed by a lavender variety. My (grown) kids love this place and enjoy trying different flavours. The pumpkin was tried along with the salted caramel. The staff are always friendly and the facilities spotless. Nowhere to find fault. Have to say I'm glad it's in a town I only visit otherwise I'd be stopping by far too often!

It doesn't look like a French Chef made this!

Well after trying some Macarons from their store in the Avenues Mall I couldn't help but, to buy more. After trying these Macarons in Avondale I found the product to be inconsistent from the sizes, the taste, and the freshness as compared to the store in the Avenues. This is very common in restaurants where the product varies depending on which location you go to and who is making the product. Inconsistency is definitely a negative especially in the food industry!

This shop looks the same like any other "La macaron", but feels different. I don't know why, but it's tru. I'm not biggest fan another one in Avenues Mall, maybe because there are too many people. This one was so cozy! We meet manager Marie (hope right name). She is wonderful, amazing and extremely friendly person! She speaks with French accent and this is so nice to listen in French place) Macarons, ice cream are delicious.

We arrived early and found that very quickly there was a line that was extending out the door. That was for good reason. This place is excellent. Great staff, impeccable food, fantastic service. Inside is clean, neat with hearty tables. The front features their baked goods as well. All fresh, all look delicious. I tried the Tiramisu for dessert. No pictures. It was that good that it made me forget. We dined in, and to do so, you order at the front, are seated and are served shortly after. When you order, keep in mind that they bring bread to the table. Two types of bread with a delicious mix of oil and balsamic that is ideal for dipping. Shortly after we received our food. We split the sandwiches between us and one order of truffle fries. The muffuletta was so meaty and flavorful. The bread fresh and the perfect accompaniment. The eggplant likewise was so delicious. I was expecting more of historical panini type bread but this bread was perfect and grilled. The truffle fries...crispy, bursting with flavor. Really generous portions here of next level sandwiches. If you're in the mood for a great sandwich or a huge salad, this is THE place for you. I highly encourage you to check them out. You'll be glad you did.

Both sandwiches were great but just extremely heavy - I definitely was in need of a serious nap after lunch. Had a side of truffle fries, but couldn't get through more than a few. The ambiance inside is somewhat tight and thankfully we were sat at our own table. The servers essentially drop the food off and that's it, so it's interesting as usual that they ask for a tip like we are at a restaurant with a real waiter/waitress. Overall, not a bad place, didn't get a chance to try the pastries/cakes which looked decadent. But for the price of the sandwiches and service, I'd say the value is pretty low.
