We found their deli was the closest thing in Pa to an actual deli this side of the Delaware River. The produce featured local corn, melons and many more. We spent an hour inside picking out corn, cantaloup and watermelon plus buying some deli cheese and Breakstone cottage cheese cup 5/$5. Even if you live a distance, this place is worth the trip and should be added to your weekly grocery markets. Their ad appears ion their face book page weekly. The only issue was the chaotic parking lot, pot holes and shopping carts that needed a wheel alignment but nothing to discourage you from coming inside for the fresh, priced right grocery...they have a small wine shop too.

If you go mid day on weekday, the lines are not that long but on a hot summer night, they are busy, hustling and bustling. I do not think the staff can really "move any faster", I don't ever see them wasting time. Just bring some bug spray and practice acceptance. After your legs hurt from standing for 30 mins and you burn some extra pre calories, you can take solace under one of the gazebos or picnic benches. Now onto the ice cream-- creamy and flavorful, unlike other soft serve options that lose flavor or taste watered down. They always offer 3 different twist or plain flavor options each week as well as a full menu of sundaes, waffles, flurries, and many more. Peanut butter is my favorite flavor and I'm glad I was in town the week they had it. I also wanted to try the new addition to the menu, waffle cone chips with vanilla ice cream and caramel dipping sauce but I didn't make it back around. I ended up with sprinkles falling off the sides and barely any actually on the ice cream. My partner's order was even worse. She asked for a to-go mint chip with layered Oreos -- a standard item that usually with a clear lid and a generous layer of Oreos on top. Instead, the staff scooped off a large portion of the ice cream to make the flat lid fit, handed it over with the cup only about 2/3 full, and there was almost no Oreo topping to speak of. I get that mistakes happen, but the fixes made both orders worse than if they'd just started over. We paid full price for noticeably less food and a frustrating experience. Won't be back.

I chose the four scoop sampler where I got one scoop of four different flavors of ice cream. I chose: Cherry Cordial (my fave with a great cherry chocolate flavor--tasted just like a chocolate covered cherry!), Spouse House (pretty good--my memory is a little foggy on this one, but it had pretzel bits in it), Caramel Apple (least favorite...could not taste any apple flavor at all) and Banana Cream Pie (very good...2nd fave!). My son had a small cone and it was pretty big. Overall we enjoyed our ice cream and would visit again.

Each flight has four samples and they have 8 total types of ice cream at this time so we were able to sample everything. OMG. Soooooo delicious! You can definitely taste the alcohol, but it's not too over powering. It's just perfect. You can sit inside or also take it to go. They offer different toppings. Some are alcohol infused and others are your basic toppings. We didn't get to try any of those. Today when we went in they were also offering free jello shots. We will definitely be going back at some point. Also, they are a few blocks away from Ballyhoo, which is also amazing. Update: Two days after my original review: My friend went today and her flight was way better than the ones we got. Totally inconsistent with how they fill the cups. Our flight was crazy melted in just a minute and it was like eating ice cream soup. Super difficult to eat and dripped everywhere. I thought this was the norm since there is alcohol added, but no one else i know had this experience or flights that looked like ours. I want to go back to get it again, but hopefully it won't be soooo melted. It wasn't even hot inside of the establishment.
