I typically go here for their cheese steaks, as they are our favorite in the area; however don't sleep on their cold subs! Especially the italian! I ordered a regular Italian and it came stuffed with me and toppings, and was absolutely delicious! My husband enjoyed his turkey Hoagie as well. The bread really makes it here. Service is always awesome and you can eat in or take out. They also have a nice selection of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. I've ordered from this place over a dozen times. Tonight I decided to order a dozen of wings like I always do. When I got home and opened the tray they didn't look like they've always had so I figured that maybe they done something different but come to find out the wings weren't done. There was pink meat and blood in them. I started to call to let them but I just decided to never eat from there again. The woman who answered the phone and the delivery driver were both sweet, prompt, and cordial. The food was an utter waste, however. I ordered Hot Wing Pizza, which I assume is not a popular item there, because it was literally inedible. Trying to separate a slice leads to the cheese and ground chicken separating from the crust, leaving a dripping, saucy mess that made me sick to my stomach. What little I did dare taste, was too sweet to be considered "hot" Wing sauce. Overall, I'll be looking elsewhere for pizza from now on. read more

We placed an order online, and arrived a little early. The service was AMAZING! once we said our name they confirmed our order and any modifications. Plus, they were super quick and pleasant. We ordered the cheesesteak with peppers and onions, mushrooms, and "sauce". The sauce seemed basically like a marinara sauce, there's no cheese with the steak, just a little somewhere in the top (like 2 small slices under the tomato sauce per each half). To me, all of it needed more seasoning and cheese. The tomato sauce also over powered the flavor and made the bread soggy (maybe asking on the side might be better?) We also ordered a tuna hoagie with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles. There was some sort of marinade on the tomatoes and onions (I'm thinking something they squeezed on after assembly - almost like a sub marinade or Italian seasoning with oil). Either was, the tuna sub was great! We had it with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. I did add some salt, pepper, and garlic at home...but it was good without it too. The rolls were good and fresh. The restaurant was very clean. If only the cheesesteak was better, it would be a 5 star place. read more

I drive by numerous places to get their cheesesteaks. Their Amoroso rolls are delicious and delivered daily. I like my cheesesteaks done pizza style with red sauce and all the trimmings. Their red sauce is absolutely delicious because it has the perfect amount of sweet to it. I'm getting hungry for another just writing this review lol. Everything I've had here is amazing. They are a family business so if u want fast delivery tip normal and they will treat u with the respect u treat them. Philly's is yet another example of a business in this plaza that has earned great reviews and staying power through the years. It also happens to serve an absolutely perfect-sized medium cheesesteak with no fanciness - it's cheesesteak the way god intended. The fries are also way better than should be expected from a strip mall eatery. You typically have to hit up a long-standing sports bar with a decent cook to get this type of flavor and consistency for the price. Plus there's a much better beer selection than you might expect. Each time I come here I think I know what I want, but I almost always end up changing my mind or buying more. Stick to the cheesesteaks here! The pizza has to be some of the worst in the area. Ordered a large pizza half pepperoni over the weekend. First of all the pizza was barely cut, second it was so greasy it was pooling all on top. Finally it was ice cold not even warm. Thankfully I didn't order the whole thing pepperoni, or it would of been swimming in grease. The crust was so gummy, I ate one slice and threw the rest out. Extremely disappointing. We were in the mood for a great cheesesteak and ended up very disappointed. Cheesesteaks were cold and barely had cheese. Even though the sandwiches were bad, the pizza was even worse! Hands down the most flavorless I've ever tasted in any state. Great customer service at this location. The cheese steak didn't match up to the name. The cheese Wiz was watered down and the meat had zero flavor. You can tell that it's good meat just not seasoned when cooked. Maybe add a little salt to the meat. read more

After feeling iffy about reviews me and my band mates decided to give Philly's Finest a shot. I expected a mediocre sandwhich and ok service at best based on what I read......wow was I wrong....this was my experience....... Upon entry the decor will not give you an "eye-gazm" and you may feel like your at a beer package store rather than a food joint....then you smell the amazing aroma coming from the back. The staff was prompt to greet and shared some casual jokes while we read the menu. I ordered a traditional cheese steak with whiz, onions and green peppers....my bandmate ordered the chicken cheese steak with american cheese and sweet and hot peppers. Then we saw a two for one deal on a few different choice brews and asked if we could get the same deal with the beer we wanted and the manager quickly replied yes. I was already sold. Next the food came out.....what a treat for my pallet! !! The first bite of my steak had a perfect blend of whiz, steak, onions, peppers and bread!!! All flavors were dank and I was able to seperate them in the one bite. Next came the bite with no whiz....still a tasty sandwhich! The meat was juicy, the veggies were cooked yet crunchy not soggy, the whiz wasn't overbearing and bread was a prefect blend of chewy yet soft! Before we could set our sandwhiches down from the first couple bites the nice server brought us a fresh order of fries on the house just to be nice. Fries were hot, but just standard fries. Next came my first bite if the "Chicken Philly"!!!! Being I am such a fan of the traditional philly and have never tried the poultry version so I had no expectations. It was good. If you're a chicken person it would probably rank high on a food goodness scale but it just didn't do it for me. So I ate that half before devouring the rest of my sandwhich. I realky wanna give this joint 5 stars.....but being this is my first review I want to be real. If they stepped up thier decor game to match the quality level of the food and staff that might have happened. Don't let the decor stop you though.....if you are looking for a delicious traditional Philly in the Plains Pa area "Philly's Finest" should be your destinstion!!!!! Great sub place even though the food is sometimes hit or miss. Some folks up front taking the orders take their own preferences into account and attempt to talk you out of getting certain toppings, to the point where they'll have open debate with you. Then once you get your food, you'll most likely notice toppings missing from whatever you've specified, -even- if you've told them to put everything on it. Consistency of the food is a bit awkward as well. Sometimes the cook makes things how you expect, then other times you can tell someone else is filling in for them since they usually throw things all over the place, or cut things up in places where they shouldn't and toss them in. One time I had ordered a cheeseburger sub and they gave me completely broken up ground beef. I have no clue what that was about, really. When they do get things right though, it's a hit right out of the park. read more

I got an original cheesesteak with wiz (yes... cheese wiz because that's how you do it!!!) for $7. Their is also a variety of beverages and even pizza if you want. I purchased the 2 for $5 24oz Corona (great price). after a short wait in what was seemingly a clean and comfortable table (the decor needs some updating). I was greeted with a massive cheesesteak to accompany my large 24oz Corona. I also ordered a chicken cheesesteak as well which looked equally good. If I could give a ZERO I would. Been ordering for 5 years from there. Always hoping it will be better but always screw up order. Well today was the worst. 5 hoagies all 5 missing something on hoagie. 2 meatball with cheese, no cheese on either, sausage and peppers, no peppers and 2 roast beef and cheese with lettuce and tomatoes, no lettuce and tomatoes on either.
