The treatment and reception I received after the switch was about the same which wasn't bad at all, but it was satisfactory at best. After a routine cleaning last November or December, I ended up wanting to move forward with a wisdom tooth extraction so they referred me to their Arden location, Arden Oaks Dental. The atmosphere and treatments I received here have been phenomenal. My wisdom tooth extraction was back in January or February so I don't remember the names of the staff but they were very accommodating, kept me informed/educated every step of the way, and the doctor that performed the extraction even followed up via text. Text??! Really?! Dude that was the most above and beyond service I've gotten from a dental office lol. After that I was sold on switching my primary dental office to this location. In all honesty, this place is a lot closer to home, BUT this is the kind of service I would go out of my way and drive further to get to. Great customer service goes a long way and the environment here makes you really feel as comfortable as possible, even though I feel my blood pressure rising anytime I'm in any kind of medical/dental office lol. Today I received a routine cleaning by Lovila and she was super kind, and just like the other staff kept me informed of every single step she took. My teeth had some pretty good buildup so the cleaning took longer than usual but Lovila made it a breeze and I was even dozing off for a good amount of the time my teeth were getting worked on. She said this was actually a compliment though, so hell yeah to that lol. I usually would be "meh" about going to get dental work done, but I finally found a practice that doesn't make me dread coming in. Keep up the awesome work, the good vibes, and the warm atmosphere! I've worked with high quality doctors as medical assistant for 15 years so I know poor quality when I experience it. They decided to not take my Medicare dental insurance, right in the middle of my treatment where I had Deep cleaning root planeing, then regular cleanings every 4 months. I decided to find a new dentist. I started with the new dentist and requested my files and x-rays to be sent to new dentist, twice by email. I filled out their release of info forms, twice. I had an appointment last week with the new dentist and they said they have never received my records. I was at the dentist for an appointment and they could not do the regular 4 month cleaning because there was no proof of when I had the last deep cleaning done. They called my Insurance and the insurance only had a date of 2022 being my last deep cleaning. I then called Redford dental to ask them about my records. They could not even find anything on me at all. It was very frustrating. I could not quite remember when I had the last deep cleaning but I knew it was within the last year. I proceeded to go thru with the appointment, since I was there already. They did 1/2 of my mouth deep cleaning, which cost over $300. When I got home I went thru my files and found the receipt from Redford dental from 10/2025. I discovered that they charged my credit card A total of $60 more than what they quoted me. They never turned it into my Insurance. I emailed the owner a letter, along with the receipts and a long explanation. I just wanted the owner to know what had transpired, maybe he would look into this. All I wanted was to be acknowledged with a reply. I have waited 5 days and no reply from Redford dental. This is no way to run a business, they have no regard for their patients, or former patient. Their services were fine but my new dentist is way better, and also a little less expensive and closer to my house. So I guess I win after all.

I had recently signed up with Cigna for dental insurance for a very reasonable monthly premium and was looking for a new dentist. I saw such great reviews on Yelp about it, and lo and behold, they did not fail. When I went to schedule an appointment, Adriana, one of the lovely receptionists, ran my insurance information and everything went through swiftly. I came in for a general checkup (seeing as I had neglected the dentist for 5 years!) and learned that I had 8 cavities that needed attention. I am not generally fearful of dentists, but it had been over 10 years since my last filling so I was looking forward to getting everything cleaned up and taken care of. *This section is specifically for those who are afraid of needles or any procedure involving numbing agents and anesthesia and maybe need a little reassurance: Dr. Enmark had an incredibly calming and friendly demeanor, and created a warm and relaxing atmosphere upon arrival and throughout the entire visit. She asked questions, asked if I was comfortable and if I had any questions or concerns for her before she began. Neesha, (I hope I am spelling names correctly!) her awesome dental assistant, applied a topical numbing cream to my gums first to take away the initial sting of the novocain needle. After about 10 minutes, Dr. Enmark (in detail) explained that she is inserting the needle and would like for me to breathe in and out while wiggling my fingers and toes. I only felt a tiny pinch and did as I was instructed to find that this greatly calmed my nerves. I am not all that afraid of needles, but when one is coming right at me, yeah - it can be a little freaky! They explained the entire process as they went along, played soothing music such as piano/jazz and at times soft reggae with images of nature and animals on a screensaver on the TV monitor above and my favorite part was how they talked about their favorite foods and recipes during the treatment. It totally took my mind off of the drilling sounds and actually made me hungry! I should add that the pandemic hit in the middle of my scattered procedures and they handled it with such grace. Stephanie, another wonderful receptionist, was constantly communicating with me about scheduling options and new protocols in place because of COVID. Their attention to detail made the whole situation about needing dental care during a global pandemic less frightening and more doable. I had two cleaning and follow ups with Cindy and Xiomara, two fantastic dental hygienists. As expected, they were also beautiful individuals who executed my cleanings with care. I have sensitivity near my gums, and they helped explain some new brushing techniques, as well as which toothpastes would benefit me best. I know so many people are afraid to go to the dentist, and end up putting it off like I did for years. Do yourself a favor and PLEASE visit these lovely ladies. Their office is one of the best parts about coming because it is women-empowered and decorated with an exotic Egyptian theme! The other best part about this office is that they all actually care. You are not just a number or a patient file stuffed into a system - they will consider your needs, work with your insurance/budget, and provide outstanding customer service at all times. The technology they use is impressive. One of the coolest parts was seeing an AI-generated preview of what my teeth could look like after Invisalign treatment. I had a minor issue after and Dr Visage called and asked me to come right down and he took care of it the same day. Now that is great service. I've been to a lot of Dentists and the quality of Dr Visage work is far superior. I know he recently took over this practice and has made a lot of improvements including having his own flat rate agreement to care for your teeth, and not bill for each procedure. When he was doing an implant for me, he also saw a cavity and fixed it immediately without an extra appointment.
