I really don't know how the other reviewers had such high praise, but my experience was very different. I guess because I'm a male he felt that it was okay to use foul language in my presence. He did take care of the clog in the line, but I had to reach for my heart medication once I received his invoice. I did some research afterward and had one source tell me that Greg has an extensive motorcycle collection and now I know how he pays for it. This guy has got to be kidding with his fees. SUPER EXPENSIVE! Really..... $750.00 for 5 hours of work? The next year I called a friend of mine who just bought a "electric eel" which did the same work Greg took 5 hours to do in 20 minutes. Greg brags about having all the latest tools and technology, but he used a traditional snake and took 5 hours to do a job that would have taken 20 minutes with a better tool. Well I guess he couldn't charge $750.00 if he only took 20 minutes. UPDATE! I spoke with Mr. Peterson over the phone and he seemed genuinely apologetic with regard to my experience and also expressed an interest in the tool my friend used to clear the septic line which by the way is called an Electric Eel Model C. In my opinion, just reaching out to me the way he did puts him way ahead of most other contractors. His interest in the tool leads me to think he has a real interest in upgrading his plumbing practice. I have a feeling that if I asked he would give me a partial refund in order to ensure my satisfaction, but I don't write reviews for that reason, so I won't pursue that angle. I had a horrible experience with this plumber, first he was 20 minutes late and I was on a lunch break to meet him. He did apologize but I told him I had to return to my job soon. I am a renter and management company sent him out. There are two distinct odors coming from sink and he basically said he couldn't smell anything. He then went on to tell me how I should clean under the sink and grabbed a planter in a mocking kinda of way saying like this and put it to his nose basically saying the issue was that I had not cleaned under the sink. He said I should remove the paper (put there by management company not me) He would not hear me when I said that the stench was there prior to my putting any products or anything else under the sink. He was very rude and condescending. So I said do not speak to me in a condescending manner. I think he said lets move on to the next issue which is sediment coming out of the faucet. He treated me as if I were in idiot and told me the pipes were being flushed out in my area and was I not aware?! I the management company informed me and I offered to wait on having plumber come out, they sent him anyway. I did not appreciate his tone, demeanor, or lack of respect. I had a teacher acquaintance with me and she said, "wow, I can't believe how he spoke to you!" He may be highly rated with others but my experience was negative from the start. He even said he had to squeeze me in when we made an appt. more than a week prior set at my lunch time. When I sent a text asking him to text me when he would be arriving he was already rude. I get being gruff but this man was more than unprofessional, he was belittling. So this is the 3rd communication this plumber has written about me. He has written a bad review on a company who he claimed was rude to his wife and called out the receptionist by name. So apparently only Mr. Peterson can be wronged! You got a negative review because of your disrespectful attitude towards me which can be corroborated by an impartial 3rd party who I am lucky was present. You are now harassing me, only proving my point about you. I don't know a person who would tolerate being disrespected in their own home! I I definitely have my opinions as to why this individual thought he could talk to me in this way. Standing up for oneself is never wrong. Grow up! read more

We had a gas leak from a previous plumber and the gas company shut off our gas. Gas guy said he thought the process to get it back on would take 2 to 3 days. Greg had us fixed and inspected and gas back on in 12 hours. Greg is the best! read more

The best plumber in Carson City. We moved into to our new house 3 weeks ago. This morning my wife noticed a raging river pouring from underneath our driveway down to the main street and onto the next cross street. I called the city to shut off the main water to the house then immediately called Greg based on his Yelp ratings. He was super busy (2 weeks backlog) as most plumbers are this time of the year but took the time to call me back in minutes to discuss my issue. Within 1 hour he put together a team and got the ball rolling. A portion of the driveway had to be torn up, a ditch 4 feet deep and and 6 feet aross was dug to expose the broken pipe. Work started around 1pm and its now 7:30pm the same day and guess what? We now have water and its all fixed. I thought this would be a 10K to 15K job with no water for at least a week or two. You read it right. Fixed in less than 9 hours. Is that even possible?... I mean WTF!!! This shows Greg's dedication to his work. After leaving our c he was off to complete his last job and by then it was close to 8pm. Cant say enough about his company. Best plumber around Carson City. The ratings speak for itself. read more

Well Greg came out and we found that the water heater was incorrectly installed. The Best Damn Plumber In Carson City, Nevada. Gets the Job done wright.

Over a year ago Greg helped us install a gas line for a propane stove, so today (a Sunday) we called to see if he could help us with a bad leak (that required water shut off). Due to a schedule conflict he wasn't able to come out to the house but he spent considerable time on the phone helping us troubleshoot by looking at photos and asking questions and making suggestions. As a result we were able to hold the emergency plumber to one (expensive!) hour to fix the leak (and get water back on) well enough to hold until regular business hours. It really goes beyond when a professional is so helpful, even when not being paid for the advice. We'll be calling him again. read more
