It was the perfect spot for a casual evening out. We had a couple of drinks, a cider and a Japanese lager, and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The musician playing that night was fantastic! He had a great song selection, and his voice was hauntingly beautiful. I'm not a huge barbecue person because I prefer my meals to have a little more variety than just meat, but I did enjoy the brisket and the pork belly. The sides were just okay for me. I'm from the South, where we take our potato salad seriously, so I wasn't the biggest fan of theirs but I did really enjoy the beans and the corn salad. I'll definitely be back for the music, a drink, and the laid-back atmosphere. It's a great place for a casual evening out!

Ordered the pulled pork sandwich which had a 60/40 meat to fat ratio and bun was quite soggy. Corn was not a Mexican street corn but good. Beans were actually the best. If I come back I'd order the brisket and see how that is. Service consists of ordering and paying up front, getting a pager and choose where to sit.

This is great BBQ! We had the three meat combo plate, which comes with two sides. Our choices were…read moreMac & Cheese and coleslaw. We were greeted and ordered at the counter. They're playing good country music. Burnt ends are outstanding!! Brisket--super tender, pulled pork was very juicy. Great choice, public parking nearby.

We have door dashed from Lincoln City BBQ twice and tried to go in once ( they were sold out early…read morethe day after Thanksgiving, guess people were tired of Turkey!). First visit: My kid liked the smothered fries ( they really WERE smothered, and the mac and cheese, and everything he found on my plate. I got a 3 meat plate in an effort to try and share everything- because I know how this goes- w/chunks of smoky tender chicken, saucy burnt ends, and slices of brisket for a $2 upcharge. The meats were all good. I got mac and cheese which I enjoyed too, it's really cheesey and sticky and I like that, and fries which were ok. 2nd visit: I ordered a three meat plate with ribs, burnt ends, and pulled pork with 2 sides of mac to share leftovers. I didn't receive ribs, I got a big slab of moist, fatty, melty brisket ..that's fine with me cuz I really like brisket. It was all good. The pulled pork is pretty perfect: tender, smoky, fatty, and salty. In context, in an Oregon coast town it's a five. No, it's not Austin or Memphis or Carolina or Kansas City (I have eaten all of that), but the meats were all on point. And that is hard to find in Oregon sometimes. A note saying " hey outta ribs! gave you brisket! " would be good. A cup of extra bbq sauce for takeout would be good, the meat is good without but we like to dip it and there was enough on the burnt ends to spread it around so we lived. I would like a chicken leg ,thigh, or piece of breast vs. little random chunks but they were GOOD random chunks. The sides are a little sparse on variety for me since I can't really eat pieces of corn, beans, or slaw. A potato salad or cornbread muffin or collard greens or dirty rice or yams or something would be good for me but I get it. You can't make all the sides for all the people. My kid asked" wheres the piece of white bread mom?" and "do they have dessert?" Like what? Kid: "Berry or peach cobbler!" Kid grew up in a barbecue eating descended from a KC grandpa family. Lol. So those are our questions for LCBBQ. We are glad they are here.
