    Caesar salad with grilled chicken

Excellent food with live bands on certain nights. Friendly staff. Hidden gem in Springfield. Older crowd that like to dance. Bo the bartender is super cool and makes everyone feel welcomed. I went there 2 nights in a row. Lots of different bands to enjoy.

Definite gotta go to place. The outside doesn't properly reflect the beautiful inside which is fresh, clean and upbeat. We went on a Friday night, and we're pleasantly surprised with great rock music, perfect acoustics in the place allowing for conversation with room to dance! Great beer selection, wine and full bar. Service was excellent. Three of us had salmon which was cooked perfectly no kidding! Husband had a steak sandwich with fries, all fresh ingredients - he gave a thumbs up and will be back. Full bar, great food, excellent service and live music - what's not to like?

These venues include church halls, basements of people's homes, lobbies of Arlington condos, a Falls Church bike store, and other community recreational space. Audiences are offered an unmatched experience of getting up close with top talent artists drawn from the nation's premier musical centers (Nashville, New York City, Austin, Athens, etc.). Artists perform acoustic style sets (bigger sets with multiple band players are also offered) to audiences who seek genuine music beyond the teflon machine-generated radio pop, and love to support independent musicians. These artists are tall on talent yet short on big name music industry commercial fame. Offering exquisite, heart-felt music and passion, their performances make for stirring musical soirees. Many of the acts are from the folk/bluegrass field, who have jazz and pop influences, extending sometimes to motown and gospel. Audiences can buy tickets online, via the Web site (stoneroomconcerts.com) but can also walk in to the venue on the performance night and are encouraged to donate to the artist. The host of the venue typically provides snacks and drinks for attendees. This non-profit is run with a lot of heart by David H. who does an impeccable job curating the numerous acts he brings to northern Virginia throughout the year. I highly encourage all music afficionados to attend one of these "house concerts" for the true feeling of shared musical spirit just as it has always been in history, through pure voice and unfiltered performance in a small gathering.

I don't mind the community seating, but I do prefer assigned seats. It would be nice if they sold seats based on the location of the table. A lot of people don't have time to get there 2 hours before a show to get a ticket number. Especially for a show on a weekday. The parking was full when I arrived at 7:15 for a 7:30 show. However, they conveniently provided extra parking across the street at St. Rita's. The sound was great. Jeffrey Osborne sounded amazing. He even walked through the theater a couple of times. It was a good time. I didn't try the food, but people seemed to enjoy it. My table had chicken fingers and the wing baskets. They said it was good. Overall, I would recommend this venue for an intimate experience. It's a bit dated but that adds to the charm.

But I believe in supporting venues not thieving mega corporate bandits.

He always recommended Kilroys to us as he was a regular at this restaurant. So, it became our annual tradition to have dinner at Kilroys. When you walk into Kilroys, you'll appreciate the amount of details thag went into the interior design of the restaurant. It should be noted that Kilroy's honors its veterans. My uncle was a proud veteran, so he always felt welcomed here. There is a lot of military memorabilia throughout Kilroy's. The walls are filled with so many photos that walk you back through historic events. There's so much love for the USA in here! The menu consists of a lot of traditional American food. Most of the items are heavy, so expect to leave with a full belly. They have your typical meat, fish, poultry, and pasta dishes. However, they also offer flatbread pizzas! There really is something for everyone. I typically order catfish or trout. Both are delicious, but I really like their catfish. I love Cajun spices, so it's always nice to enjoy something that hits close to home. I also appreciate that their servings are large, because it's well worth the money that you spend here. I would have never heard of Kilroy's if it wasn't for my uncle. Kilroy's definitely lived up to the hype. I enjoy coming here because it's like a hidden gem. It's situated in a small shopping center and you'd probably walk past it as it doesn't really stand out. Kilroy's is definitely a great place to enjoy a hearty meal, hang out with friends, or to grab a drink before heading back home.

I think it's safe to say we are fans. This place is old school, not just due to the decor but also due to certain staff (although they have recently been joined by some newer folks), attendees, and the menu. We stick with burgers, loaded tots, wings, cider, and a dessert. I visit here with hubs as well as a walking buddy. It's decor is a little conflicted in that is WWI & II focused inside and Jimmy Buffet /beachy w parrots outside. During the pandemic I enjoyed sitting outside eating the tots & sipping cider with my walking buddy after a walk around the lake, unfortunately now the outside seems to have become a smoking area removing it as a good place to eat for those of us who do not smoke. I hope it will regain its nice outdoor dining space in the new year's spring and summer but guess the bar crowd may frequent the outdoor space for smokes which is unfortunate. The bar is open late with sports streaming constantly and been a good place to catch games so I get why they may find it beneficial to keep that crowd returning. Despite the old school vibe and dark decor Kilroy's is clean & the service is friendly although they do over use those food heat lamps. We come here regularly for the Monday burger deal, I would guess we currently average about once a month.
