Walking inside the first thing I noticed was the lack of decor and warmth in this place. The pictures are hanging up spaced unevenly. The boards above the booths are not screwed into the wall. It honestly looks and feels tacky. There is a lack of decor and the lighting is too harsh. It feels like someone is moving out. Our server and the other employees, are the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. They were absolutely lovely and helped one another out. Our water glasses were filled multiple times and our server was very sweet. The food: we started with a beer and mojito. The beer was good. The Mojito was too strong and too sweet. It was really strange... Then we had the lobster bisque. It was very peppery and lacked flavor. There was only one piece of lobster and it had a strange after taste to it. The jerk chicken nachos were awesome is flavor but sooo greasy. See the pictures. I got the hot chicken and waffles. The texture of the chicken was great!! And the waffles were tasty! But these chicken tenders are very spicy and I could only get through half the meal. I would love if you could pick a non spicy version!! My boyfriend got a lobster roll and said it was good not great and the fries were pretty standard. We will not be back to this location. If you want to try this place, I would recommend the Bloomington location!

WOWOWOW this place never disappoints, SO GOOD!…read more Today we sat on their rooftop patio, which was perfectly shaded and such a great spot to relax on a nice day. We did wait downstairs for around 10 minutes before anyone came to greet us, then told us we could just head up.. it was a bit odd. As a vegetarian, I'm constantly searching for a genuinely good veggie burger, and I truly think I've found the best one in Minneapolis here. Soo many restaurants treat vegetarian options like an afterthought, but definitely not B-52. I ordered the veggie burger on the Trashy with fried pickles and cream cheese, and it was AMAZING. Seriously one of the best burgers I've had in a long time, vegetarian or not. I also ordered an espresso martini and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Between the rooftop patio, creative menu, and standout vegetarian options, this place has quickly become one of our favorites. Already looking forward to coming back again when we're in the area.

Both my dad and I got smash patties and they were cooked great. I actually got the Top the Tator special, which I 10/10 think they should keep on the menu year round. I also got the waffle fries with seasoned sour cream, which is a must always. My mom was the only one not satisfied with her dish. She got the Chicken Teriyaki bowl and didn't love that the onions/vegetables were served raw vs. sauteed. The inside was spacious (too cold to check out the patio), our server was very attentive and the drink menu was pretty robust - bonus that they had a Cold Press Martini on the menu.

At that point, I knew I was in for a treat. Any dining establishment packed at non-peak dining times must be a local favorite. I got the Thursday special: meatloaf with BBQ glaze, mashed potatoes, and char grilled corn. Meatloaf is one of my comfort foods, and this one really delivered. It was cooked perfectly; moist on the inside, a nice sear on the outside, and tangy BBQ sauce. The mashed potatoes and corn were pitch perfect too; I especially liked the char on the corn. The vibe is rustic casual, with ample large screen TVs for catching a sports game. Our server brought the wrong beer (light beer instead of Surly) , but made it right when we pointed it out. The acoustics were great; which is hard to find in populated places with a concrete floor. There is a parking lot. I'm already imagining a return visit next Thursday for more meatloaf!

That being said I don't think there's any dish I'd come here specifically for, but I haven't had anything bad and that's a good sign right? Don't expect anything fancy at Jersey's by the way. This is a classic divey bar. The patio has gotten super nice over the last couple of years but other than that take it for what it is. You're not coming here for a fancy dinner with a host and fancy kitchen staff. You're coming here for a dive bar experience with consistent food and cheaper drinks. It's also a fun place for live shows on Saturday nights. I have a friend in a band that has done a few shows here. Sound isn't amazing but that makes sense with the acoustics of the venue. It really has the mid-level garage band vibe going for it, which I personally appreciate!

I had the carb buster salad. It was good but I think I would have preferred sliced steak over the burger on it. Bar atmosphere but not bad and not too busy during lunch on a Tuesday. A Self-Service Sisyphus: The Taps and Trials of Union 32 In…read morethe shadow of the Vikings' headquarters in Eagan, Union 32 Craft House offers a uniquely Minnesotan proposition. Named for the state's status as the 32nd to join the Union, the establishment is built around a "Beer Wall"--a self-pour monument to local brewing that promises the drinker ultimate autonomy. It is a large, inviting space, designed for the expansive social ritual of a modern taproom.  The culinary offerings here are a pleasant surprise, rising significantly above the standard "hole-in-the-wall" bar fare. The menu feels intentional rather than an afterthought, providing a solid foundation for the liquid education happening at the taps. One cannot fault the quality of the sustenance or the hospitality of the staff, who remain remarkably friendly despite a recurring operational shadow: the house always seems to be exactly one person short. Each shift carries the palpable energy of a team perpetually running a man down, a testament to their grit but a strain on the overall rhythm of the room. However, the centerpiece of the experience--the self-serve technology--is where the friction lies. While the concept of filling one's own glass is liberating, the digital interface lacks a certain clairvoyance. There is nothing quite so deflating as committing to a pour only to have the keg go "bust" mid-stream, or finding that the tap you've selected is already dry. The system requires a more robust marriage of software and cellar management; the guest should not have to be the one to discover a vacancy in the line. "A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure." -- Czech Proverb Union 32 is a noble experiment in craft beer culture, providing a vast playground for the adventurous palate. But until the technology catches up with the inventory, and the roster is filled by that one missing player, it remains a work in progress--even if the beer itself is already a finished masterpiece. The place itself looked nice, the parking lot was a decent size, and the food was actually pretty good. The wings had good flavor, my wife really enjoyed the flatbread, and the taco salad was decent too. The two young ladies at the hostess stand were probably the highlight of the visit because they were welcoming and friendly from the start. After we were seated though, the atmosphere felt different. A member of management in a red Surly shirt kept staring at my wife and I in a way that honestly made us uncomfortable. Our server also wasn't very warm or friendly during the visit. When our appetizer came out, the employee asked if we needed anything else while already walking away before we could even answer. Then later the busser walked right past our table with plates sitting there and cleared another table farther away instead. I'm a veteran and not someone who usually gets bothered easily, but the overall feeling we got during our visit just didn't sit right with me. Maybe it wasn't intentional, but it definitely gave us vibes that made us uncomfortable enough that we won't be coming back. Which is unfortunate because the food itself was pretty good.
