I started this visit by expecting to wait, but I was pleasantly surprised and was able to be seating with a table right away. I always start with a Caesar salad, so good! the salad and the salad bowl comes out cold and fresh and the dressing is super tasty! During this visit, I decided to change it up and order the sweet potato with the marshmellows and it was great! Celebrating my wife's birthday with family, we decided to go to Texas Roadhouse on Radio Dr. I had the ribs and steak combo with the loaded baked potato. Our server was fantastic she did everything she could do to make sure we had what we needed. The only down fall was our food was not as hot as I would like. Food was great just on the cool side. I went there on a very crowded Friday night. I was seated quickly the wait app. A server visited me and took my order immediately, and my food came quickly. Thursday night this week, we celebrated my in-laws' anniversary here. At 5:30, the place was hopping; we didn't wait long, but by the time we were seated wait time was about 30 minutes. The service we received was amazing! 5 of the 6 of us ordered steak, while I ordered chicken. All of the food was good, my favorite being the butter for the rolls! (I didn't eat any plain though.) I had called ahead, and Roadhouse was totally cool with us bringing in our own dessert to celebrate the occasion. They also brought clean plates and forks for us, and they brought out 2 brownies for my in-laws (which we're dubbed as "delicious!"). The only thing that wasn't great about the experience was the noise level. It was quite loud for all of us and shouting was the method of communication. This isn't my typical restaurant choice, but I'd go back with others. Maybe at a less busy time. read more

Overall very southern atmosphere (I'm from Texas, so I should know)! I came out with the family tonight! We waited about 30-45 mins to get a seat. This place is always busy so It makes sense. My food was really good I was really satisfied I had the Burger. My wife had the Prime Rib, which she was really happy with. And my brother had the Sirloin Shrimp combo. This place ALWAYS looks busy. I don't think it makes a difference whether it's the weekend or weekday. Thankfully, I knew this before heading there and dropped myself into their online waitlist. Well worth it as after we checked in, it wasn't long until we were seated. As we were being seated, we were asked if it was our first time there--which it was. We were offered samples of three sides. We tried the mashed potatoes, grilled online and the green beans. All were tasty, but the green beans were a tad salty. We sat there for a bit before we realized the menus were against the wall and I realized there were peanuts in the bucket--I assume for patrons to eat, but after the staff member asked us if it was our first time there, the person didn't mention where the menus were nor anything about the peanuts. We were brought out the bread rolls and butter, which I hear people rave about. I think they were nice. The rolls a bit doughy but nicely sweet and soft. The cinnamon butter was tasty but my husband claims he doesn't like cinnamon, so a non-cinnamon butter would have been nice. The rolls still taste nice without butter though and that's how I preferred to eat it. I ordered the strip steak, regular cut. The steak was seasoned very well and cooked perfectly as requested. I ordered the sweet potatoes with it and that sucker was huge. It'll be lunch for tomorrow. The steak bites for the kid lunch was a bit too well done but my son said it was still tasty. While we were there, there was a party celebrating their birthday there and they wheeled in a saddle for him to sit on while everyone cheered and shouted for him. First time I've ever been here, but I've heard many positive things about their rolls. We went on a Saturday at 4:30pm for dinner and I'm glad we went early. It was packed! We were sat pretty quick though. I'd suggest having an early dinner so you don't have to have a long wait. Went on Father's Day. This is the second time I tried this restaurant in less than 2 weeks. 5 stars!!! Both times the restaurant was very crowded, but the wait was not bad - in fact we decided to eat at the bar and had a zero-wait time. The warm rolls they serve (order a side of honey) are expectational! The staff is busy, efficient and very friendly. I don't usually seek out Casual Dining for special events, but the food is outstanding - Prime Rib is excellent, and the steaks are great quality. Salads are large and the sides are delicious. We were sat by one of the hosts and she brought us to a table and I know my girlfriend had an injury to her back she's healing from so I asked if we could get a booth. I guess at that time a server by the name of Lauren was walking by and told the hostess she was clocking in so it would only be 3 minutes. The server sat us in Laurens area and a few minutes later we were greeted by Lauren. She took our drink orders, then came back and asked if we wanted to order. We asked for the grilled shrimp and then we placed our order. My salad that came with my entree came out first and still no shrimp. So Lauren went to check on it and finally brought it back. By the time she brought the shrimp, I had finished my side salad. Also, the shrimp were too salty. So after I ordered my grilled salmon I ordered a side of shrimp along with corn. I was hoping maybe the shrimp being more on the salty side was a snafu, however, it came out salty again, and this time I refused to eat it. After all that happened and me explaining to Lauren not only was my shrimp too salty but it was cooked too hard. So the long and the short of it was Chile was super helpful up front, the Margarita was great, and the food runner Dez was great. However, when I received the bill and I saw that Lauren didn't discount the bill for the shrimp that I only had one and left the rest I was a bit perturbed. No manager came over to talk to us, nor did she offer to fix it other than saying she was sorry. Love the bread! TR is a franchise so you kind of know what to expect. To get to the critique of this franchise specifically... It is clean, we were seated promptly and the service was prompt. Bread is amazing, steak is what you could expect from a TR (not thrilling but adequate) It is slightly awkward to have those dancers sauntering around you while eating but I understand it is part of the experience. It is also VERY loud so keep that mind the whole place is at bar/club noise levels. This TR place is nothing special but if you want a half decent meal check it out. I never thought I'd be giving a chain a 5 star yelp review, but my experience here was wonderful. Went on a whim for my first experience. This place is crazy busy for a random Wednesday night at 7pm, but honestly that's an awesome sign that it's so popular. Many of my friends have been raving about this place for months so I knew I had to try it. Starting off with the fresh bread brought immediately to the table, and delish signature butter! I like that style of immediate happiness. I ordered (one of) the cheapest options for $13.99 - 6oz sirloin, that comes with 2 sides: I decided on a Caesar salad and corn. Salad was heavily dressed but crisp and delish. Corn was mediocre, I'd probably choose the baked potato next time. The STEAK. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH AMAZING THINGS. I've had just about every steak there is out there in the world, at all price points, but I'd say this was in the top 3 I've tried. Seriously?? A Texas Roadhouse... chain... restaurant... I'm amazed. I'm not sure if it was the freshness, texture or seasoning, but all played into a perfectly cooked medium rare experience. I also asked for horseradish (both: creamy and raw) and those were packaged neatly and both perfectly fresh and tasty, at no additional cost. Our service was absolutely perfect as well. It's my third time at one of these franchise and my first time at this location. My friend who came from Canada told me they don't have it in Canada and she wanted to go there so we went there on a Sunday around 4 PM before it gets crowded. Salad was super crunchy which is surprising. Both my food and the food of my friend was excellent. I had the ribs the cow ribs and it was good. It did not fall off the bone like when you leave your ribs for eight hours. Service was good access to the highway was easy parking was ample and the place was cleaned and it got very busy close to 4:45 PM. The price was very acceptable. We did not order drinks. This was our first visit to the Texas Roadhouse Woodbury location. It did not disappoint!! We went for early dinner 4:15 pm because we heard that it is usually packed. Well we hit the sweet spot! We were seated almost immediately. Our server Sadie was AWESOME!! She brought piping hot bread and butter upon our arrival. She took our drink orders as we buttered our bread and the huge drinks arrived soon after. I had a yummy Sangria Margarita!!! It was HUGE no I did not finish it. My husband also had a Margarita. He enjoyed every sip. Our house salads arrived in a timely manner. The salads were freshly made with lettuce, tomato, red cabbage, egg and cheese. Our entrees arrived just as we were finishing our salads. (I told you our server Sadie was awesome! Her timing was impeccable. She checked in on us without being a pest throughout the meal). The steaks were well seasoned and perfectly cooked to our order specifications. (Thank you Chef...You know what you are doing!!!) I usually use steak sauce but did not want to spoil the wonderful flavors that the chef had singing on my steak. The sirloin was flavorful and at a great eating temperature. The baked potatoes were also perfect. Trying to find a place to dine at 9 on a Friday was harder than I could ever imagine in Woodbury! Luckily Texas Roadhouse was able to get us seated a little after 9. They don't close until 11. Server was nice and friendly but was on the slower side which I understand because we did get there late. He was probably ready to go home and rest up. The reason for the 3 stars is because my table ordered prime ribs and asked for medium, but both came out medium rear. Server brought it back to get it cooked some more and once it was finished I was excited to dig in, but the meat was very poor quality. It was very very hard to cut with the knife. I love my beef and eat prime rib quite often so when both my partner and I are struggling to cut it then something is wrong. read more
