    Korean Bulgogi

We made our first appearance at this place and really liked it. The place was full and really hopp'n. I had the Bulgogi Bowl and it was excellent. The temp was so perfect that steam rolled out to o the last bite. It was so spicy my eyes sweated, but I couldn't stop. All the ingredients were super fresh and cooked to perfection.

We grabbed dinner here on a Thursday night, and it was much more lively than we expected! It seems like there is a large crowd of regulars who enjoy coming to play pull tabs. Even though it was busy, we were seated promptly and service was friendly. The buffalo wings were tasty, and there were paper towels at the table which came in handy while eating the wings - a nice touch. The sandwiches we tried were pretty average for a sports bar. I appreciated the Christmas decor as well, it made the space feel festive and cozy. Not somewhere I'd need to go back to for the food, but the atmosphere was fun if you enjoy sports bars.

I had a really great breakfast here with friends today. Food was REALLY good and reasonably priced! The service was EXCELLENT. They have a Bloody Mary bar I didn't partake in but if a person likes bloody Mary's, this setup looks FABULOUS! I will be back, mostly because there were so many things I want to try on this menu!!!

The Manzo: Seasonal menu item. Thinly sliced roast beef sandwich on grilled focaccia bread. Waffle fries and seasoned sour cream.

Trail Stop is one of my go-to places in Eagan! We enjoy sitting on their patio during a warm summer night. The regular menu has great staple items, and their seasonal menu is a bit more creative! I've enjoyed trying new things from both menus, depending on what I'm craving that day. See my photo description for more details :) They're parking lot is free. I've never had an issue finding a spot. The host, bartenders, and waiters/waitresses make you feel right at home!

    Lunch special soup and sandwich

Gave this place a try for lunch. Quick service. They do offer a lunch special where you pick 2 of sandwich, salad, and soup. That's what I got this particular day, with a turkey sandwich and the beer cheese soup, which was the special of the day. I normally love beer cheese, but I think they might have used an IPA or something super bitter for the beer, as the soup had quite a bite. Friend had a burger and it was giant. Split it in half and half even still seemed like too much. You definitely don't get cheaped out of food here. Prices were a little high for lunch, but I guess that's just the way things are now. Will come back for a burger at dinner sometime!

Great family restaurant. Came in as a family of 4 at 6pm on a Friday night. The place was full, but somehow we were seated immediately. Service was great. Most of our food was pretty good, but choose from the menu wisely. The burgers were delicious. It seems the Cowboy Burger was the clear winner for our group, followed by the Caliente Burger (if you like peppers). The Steak & Bleu Wedge salad was tasty, but the grilled sirloin was a bit chewy and the bacon tasted more like bits of ham. The lettuce was extra fresh and crispy and made up for the non-crispy bacon. My son ordered the Santi's Street Tacos and didn't want to share with me but he said they were just okay.

We stopped over here for dinner while we were in the area - and it was a great little place to stop and eat! The best part of this place was the service - our food was out alarmingly fast, we were shocked! It was great though, we were out within an hour. This is a cozy little joint - feels like both the neighborhood bar to go watch the game at, as well as a nice little place to grab a bite to eat on a night out with the family. For food, I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken bowl with rice noodles - it was delicious and even came with chopsticks! The dish was very light and tasty - packed with veggies and chicken. I got through about half and even ate the rest as leftovers the next day! I would definitely come back and order it again. My boyfriend ordered the beef quesadilla - it was good, but very average bar food. Overall, a great little place to stop and eat - but nothing too special.

    French Dip Sandwich

The service was very good. The food came out quickly. The food was average. I had the french dip with coleslaw. It was a smaller sandwich compared to other restaurants. I was okay with that, but was expecting more for an $18 sandwich for lunch. My husband thought his portion sizes were small too. There was just a small cup of french fries with his sandwich. I can understand prices going up or portion sizes going down, but not both at the same time.

The bar was nearly empty, there were maybe 5 people in the bar/restaurant when we arrived. I don't think it was slow on the bartenders part as much as it was our server. A couple Guinness, a black and tan and a hot cider later, we waited to order food. While eating we decided we didn't want to wait any longer for our server so we went to the bar to ask for waters, our drinks long gone at this point. We also got up to get our own ketchup. Burger was fine but mostly flavorless. Cottage pie was fine, had I not been starving I likely wouldn't have eaten as much as I did. The food was just OK, nothing memorable or spectacular about it. Prices were pretty high for what it was, $17 for a cheeseburger is pretty outrageous, cottage pie in a ramekin was $18. Server wasn't very friendly, or was just in a bad mood that day. She spent a lot of time in the back (this was between major meal times, around 3:30-4) so she didn't seem super engaged or have much desire to be out on the floor. 3% surcharge for credit card

Named for the state's status as the 32nd to join the Union, the establishment is built around a "Beer Wall"--a self-pour monument to local brewing that promises the drinker ultimate autonomy. It is a large, inviting space, designed for the expansive social ritual of a modern taproom.  The culinary offerings here are a pleasant surprise, rising significantly above the standard "hole-in-the-wall" bar fare. The menu feels intentional rather than an afterthought, providing a solid foundation for the liquid education happening at the taps. One cannot fault the quality of the sustenance or the hospitality of the staff, who remain remarkably friendly despite a recurring operational shadow: the house always seems to be exactly one person short. Each shift carries the palpable energy of a team perpetually running a man down, a testament to their grit but a strain on the overall rhythm of the room. However, the centerpiece of the experience--the self-serve technology--is where the friction lies. While the concept of filling one's own glass is liberating, the digital interface lacks a certain clairvoyance. There is nothing quite so deflating as committing to a pour only to have the keg go "bust" mid-stream, or finding that the tap you've selected is already dry. The system requires a more robust marriage of software and cellar management; the guest should not have to be the one to discover a vacancy in the line. "A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure." -- Czech Proverb Union 32 is a noble experiment in craft beer culture, providing a vast playground for the adventurous palate. But until the technology catches up with the inventory, and the roster is filled by that one missing player, it remains a work in progress--even if the beer itself is already a finished masterpiece. If this dispatch from the Eagan beer scene helped clarify your happy hour plans, please leave a like or comment below to support the continued education and enjoyment of our community.

First off, going through the hidden Coke machine entrance is actually really fun and makes the whole place feel like a little adventure. The decor and speakeasy atmosphere are definitely the standout. Very cool space. VERY loud though. Like "lean across the table and say WHAT?" loud at times. The waitress was super nice and recommended a mocktail for me that called Ass in the Sand. It ended up being really good. It tasted like an elevated lemonade and was probably one of my favorite parts of the meal. Started with the rolls and whipped honey butter which were delicious. Very soft, warm, and honestly dangerous because I could've just kept eating bread all night. For the main meal, I did the Wagyu Burger with Parmesan fries. The burger itself was okay but surprisingly didn't have a ton of flavor outside of the grilled/charred taste. The Parmesan fries were actually the standout for me -- hand cut fries and parmesan fries are just hard to mess up. My partner tried the Mushroom Soup en Croute and wasn't a fan because the mushrooms were blended and he said it lacked flavor. He also had a Steak Taco special using their medallion steak and said even with lime it still needed more flavor. Finished with Crème Brûlée which is always a classic favorite for me and this one was good. Overall: fun experience, cool hidden entrance, great decor, good mocktail and bread, but the actual food menu is pretty limited and the flavors didn't totally wow me for the price. Glad I went and finally crossed it off my list, but probably a one-and-done visit for me.

It was really strange... Then we had the lobster bisque. It was very peppery and lacked flavor. There was only one piece of lobster and it had a strange after taste to it. The jerk chicken nachos were awesome is flavor but sooo greasy. See the pictures. I got the hot chicken and waffles. The texture of the chicken was great!! And the waffles were tasty! But these chicken tenders are very spicy and I could only get through half the meal. I would love if you could pick a non spicy version!! My boyfriend got a lobster roll and said it was good not great and the fries were pretty standard. We will not be back to this location. If you want to try this place, I would recommend the Bloomington location!
