This is my favorite place to get gyros! The gyro meat is so soft and flavorful-no matter if its in the wrap or a plate. The chicken and kafta kabob plates are just alright, nothing extraordinary..they really shine with their lamb and portions! You'd definitely have some to save for later! Their feta cheese was a phenomenal touch with the salad and the whole plate. Friendly service! A small spot but worth a try!

Everything on the menu is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The grilled branzino special is not to be missed.

Located a couple minutes away from LAX. This little Greek style cuisine is rare in the area. It opens 10am to 8:30pm. I was greeted by the owner, who I thought he was one of the customers. He was friendly and took my order. The food was freshly prepared. The skewer of chicken and lamb were from a fridge, and were laid on the grill. The pita/yogurt, salad, and hummus were fresh, and they were packaged and ready for pick up within a a timely manner. The pita was scrumptious. The meat was somewhat between juicy and dry, defintely not the best. The portion of the meal was huge, you can easily divide it into 2 or 3 meals depends on your biological storage! Overall, the value was great, the service was good, the meat needs improvement. I give it 3.9 out of 5.

The service was quick, the place clean and the food was good. I ordered the chicken kabob. The food was fresh delivered in reasonable. It came with dressing and garlic butter. Petit Cafe has to go and eat in, if you decide to eat in you order at the counter then have a seat until your food is ready. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot, I would return here.

Love, love, love it here! I visited Petit Cafe one late Saturday afternoon, I loved it so much, I came back the next evening on a Sunday to find that they were already closed due to shorter business hours on Sundays. (Totally understandable!) My hopes and dreams were crushed! (Lol, okay I'm being dramatic! Haha) But I had been wondering all day about what I was going to order when I went back that day. The food was just that good! I ordered shrimp with rice and let me tell you, it had lots of flavor! I couldn't stop eating it even after I was already full. When I'm back in town, I'll definitely be back and try out some more of their signature dishes like the kabobs and gyros. If they're half as good as the shrimp I had, then they'll be amazing!

I've really been missing the meats from here, so we paid another visit! Still as awesome as ever. The meats were juicy and substantial. The hummus was ridiculously creamy smooth. The falafel was perfectly fried and even lighter in consistency that I remembered. I wanted to try to gyro wrap this time, and it really hit the spot. The wrap was perfect. It was juicy and saucy and fresh. The seasoned fries were my favorite type (coated and properly cooked). It was all so delicious. I need to remember to visit more often.

Tried this place today, and was quite impressed. The Greek potatoes are super tasty, salad was fresh with a light dressing and plenty of feta. Gyro had a lot of meat, soft, thick pita and excellent tzatziki. Quick, friendly service.

The gyro was huge! I stopped by randomly looking for a small late night meal. I walked in and ordered the original gyro to go. It was ready in less than 5 min! The woman behind the counter was friendly and sweet. When I got home and opened the gyro it was so big! About 6-7 inches long and packed with meat and condiments. Perfect amount of tzatziki sauce and great flavors. I couldn't put it down! I was comfortably full after, I'm glad I didn't get any sides. $10 well spent! Thank you for a great gyro!

The Mediterranean menu is inventive and amazing top to bottom. Start by heading to nomadsouthbay.com and sign up for their email list to get a free hummus appetizer. It's $16 on the menu and comes with a still puffy from the oven flat bread (pita). It's worth the money, but definitely worth joining the email list. After the hummus, we split five dishes for the four of us. The roasted cauliflower is straight forward and delicious, served atop a lovely tahini and turmeric sauce. The kale salad was light and delightful. The lamb kabob plate was exactly what you want in Mediterranean food. The steak atop risotto, a favorite from Jackson's (the prior establishment here), was near perfect. But the star of the show was the Salmon Esquites--perfectly cooked salmon over fresh corn, lime, crema, and pinto beans. I am salivating writhing this! And I'm going back soon!

It was the best meal I've had in a while. I also had a spicy Mezcal with aloe cocktail, very good. The bartender came to my table personally and gave me this recommendation which I thought was really cool. I believe this cocktail will be on their Spring menu fyi. Overall, a great experience. There's no way I would have found Aliki's without the overwhelming agreement of the reviews, and…read morelet me just add my voice to the chorus singing its praises: it's absolutely a gem behind the unassuming facade. We're a family that loves cheese, so we went for all three cheese appetizer options. We got the Sizzling Feta, the Grilled Halloumi, and the Saganaki. We jokingly asked the server if it was a mistake to get so many appetizers, to which he firmly replied, "You like cheese. I can tell. You'll eat this, no problem." When I tell you we cleared those plates, I mean we absolutely demolished them. We loved all three! The Halloumi won as the overall favorite, but it was a fierce debate with strong support for each dish. Based on the Yelp reviews talking about how good the lamb is, I got the Lamb Souvlaki sandwich. It was delicious! The lamb was incredibly well-cooked, quite tender and very flavorful. The whole package of the pita, with the lamb balanced against the tzatziki and salad, was fantastic. If you're a meat-eater, I highly recommend it. If you're a vegetarian, my family also really enjoyed the Falafel sandwich and the Spanakopita. The Spanakopita was made like a turnover and its pastry was super buttery, perfectly light and flaky. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, nicely moist. It was a hit! The service was very quick and the staff was very friendly. While my family initially raised their eyebrows at the restaurant (it's sandwiched between a motel and a car wash), they were converted by the cheese and were devotees by the time we finished our entrees. We loved it!

Yesterday afternoon, I was in the mood to try something different, as I often am, and that's how I…read moreended up at Aliki's Greek Taverna near LAX. The only minor issue I ran into was parking. At first, I thought the restaurant didn't have its own parking lot since it's connected to a small hotel. The restaurant itself is easy to spot from the outside and isn't confusing to find at all, but I wasn't sure where guests were supposed to park. I ended up parking farther away and walking over. Once inside, I noticed a sign mentioning restaurant parking and learned that customers can park in the hotel's lot. I mention this only to save future customers a little confusion--it wasn't a big deal at all, and I quickly moved my car closer. The restaurant itself is relatively small and connected to one of those cozy hotels you often see around the LAX area. It has the feel of a hidden local spot rather than a busy tourist destination, which honestly adds to its charm. I arrived around 5:30 PM and was surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty. There were only a couple of occupied tables, and only one more arrived while we were there. Honestly, I don't know what people are thinking because they're missing out on something special. I was dining with my 8-year-old nephew, one of those kids who survives almost exclusively on chicken nuggets, noodles, ranch, and other familiar foods. Getting him to try something new is usually a challenge. I ordered him a chicken gyro, and he absolutely loved it. I jokingly told him the tzatziki sauce was ranch, and from that point on he was completely sold. For myself, I ordered the moussaka. I chose it purely for the experience, not because I expected to love it. It turned out to be one of the most delicious restaurant dishes I've had in months. Seriously, months. The layers of eggplant, meat, and creamy béchamel came together perfectly. It was rich, comforting, and unforgettable. The funniest part? My nephew kept asking for more of my food. He was convinced the eggplant was chicken and ended up eating nearly half of my moussaka. If an extremely picky 8-year-old enjoys a dish like that, I think that says everything. We also ordered the lamb souvlaki, which was outstanding. Tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. This place is a true hidden gem. The food was exceptional, the service was friendly, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Our bill came to about $86 before tip for three entrées and two Cokes, and honestly, it was some of the best money I've spent on food all month. Will I be back? Absolutely. In fact, I'm already planning to return within the next few weeks. If you've never tried Greek food before, this is a great place to start.

I had just finished buckling my child into the high chair when my order was delivered to my table! They are super fast here! The super friendly waiter delivered my meal, and I dug in. The gyro was stuffed with meat! This is a huge deal, since a lot of places skimp and don't give enough. So extra points to Al Hamra for a job well done. The flavor of the meat was juicy and well seasoned, super delish! The hummus and pita was good, although I usually add a bit of spices to my hummus so this one was a little plainer than I'm used to.
