Couldn't eat this. Told waiter and that i guess id give to my dog. He did not care.

So usually I go here and bring friends and family because it's amazing. This review is based on experience had on Thursday 2/5. Oddly the restaurant was pretty empty, maybe 3 tables. The wait staff, Chris, Was not happy to see us and let us know he wouldn't be our server. He then proceeded later to ask us if we were having anything. We asked "Are you are server?" He said "I guess" so. Again, very odd. No smile no introduction. The food came out nothing like any Petro experience. He didn't ask us how our food was. He avoided coming back to our table. We sent back lentil soup that was cold and runny. I should have sent back the lamb chops in the picture but we were uncomfortable since Chris didn't even look at me when I said I guess I'll give this to my dog. Took a Box home with all the lamp chops. So burnt. Horrible meal and my attorney still tipped 20%. I felt embarrassed for recommending we eat here. I hope to reach out to a mgr there soon about this experience.

The best Greek food in Los Angeles! All homemade and Petros makes you feel at home and part of the family! Try the Loukomades

"Good" lamb pasta - but why add weird hot spice - not normal - not everyone likes heat and waiter should apprise guests of heat.

Our meal was "good", not great ... built "ok" at best. Good marg - not much tequila or rum choices. Lamb pasta was pretty good - not sure the menu mentioned it had spice or pepper flakes A it should and waiter should warn people - not everyone loves spice/heat. Seems like at odd choice to add hot spice to a lamb pasta dish. Other than that was good. Horiataki (sp) greek salad was "good" but weird - why add avocado? Should be peppers, onions, cucumbers A and what a weird way to cut cucumbers???? Had to recut them - annoying - maybe go to AVRA and have their salad and replicate it like a million other geek salads - tasted good but very weird prep and preservation - weird. Make it easier to eat - avocado super weird in a Greek salad and "long cut" cukes weird vs standard chunks / clean one bite edible chunks - weird. Waiter was nice man - but not really sophisticated or knowledgeable about food or the menu preparation when asked. Not a bad night A but not great.

Whenever my family visits my sons Grandmother we always end up dining here and for the last 15 years it never fails. We mostly always eat dinner here and it goes without saying one of us orders the chicken lemon soup - a Greek staple and it never disappoints! On this occasion I ordered the Gyro sandwich which was plenty of food for two - delicious. My sister in law ordered the keftke meatballs entree and those were delicious as well - completely shareable - and my son ordered the special filet mignon skewers with fries that was huge and definitely could have been shared ! All delicious The service was on par as usual and our waiter was great and attentive! While the ambiance was fun and jovial -if you can score an outside table even better ! Overall always a pleasant experience and with ample parking is never an issue !

We had a magical evening again, hosted by the man the myth the legend Petros! The vibe here whether you're inside or outside is just spectacular only to be topped by the food. And food you would not expect at a Greek restaurant. For example, my favorite dish ever is chicken Parmesan some of the best I've ever had. We started with a combination of Different pitas and dips all unique. My wife had a lamb sandwich that she just loved. Our other guests had salads and more chicken Parmesan. He also has a wine that is his personal wines that are all spectacular. A must go if in the South Bay!

Great experience and my girls loved it.

My family and I came to eat here and it was 5 stars plus. Our appetizers were very feeling and delicious. We had fried calamari, a dish with 3 different tzatziki like dips with pita bread and we ordered one other but my daughters eat it up before I had a chance to try. We ordered the Salmon, lamb, steak, gyro and a pasta with braised rib I believe. Again just like the appetizers, it was all cooked to perfection and the taste was truly amazing. I almost didn't want to finish my steak so I could have left overs. We had 3 different desserts again my girls took them over. Our waiter was Dimitri and was perfect and attentive. He explained all the dishes to us and engaged in conversation with us. The whole experience was very welcoming and I can't wait to go back again. The best part is they accommodated us without a reservation. We will be back again soon. Also plenty of parking in the garage right under the restaurant, it wasn't noisy, we were able to enjoy our conversation without having to yell. Everything about this place is welcoming. As well the bathrooms were squeaky clean and well attended with supplies. Petros has our vote to come again and again.

I have eaten here on numerous occasions and each time it just gets better. We had an amazing watermelon salad, lamb pasta, chicken parmesan and shared two amazing deserts. It's very reasonably priced and again the food quality is just amazing, top notch!!. Also the staff are very knowledgeable, fun and deliver excellent customer service. I will go again and again!!

Great location. Petro's is a Greek restaurant located in an in close shopping center like area off Manhattan Beach Blvd so it's a little tricky to find with gps. Parking is hard but you can drive around and find a spot. We went on a Wednesday and it was slow. Waitress was nice and ambiance is pretty and peaceful. We had the Gloria Ferrer sparkling wine and it was delish. Also ordered the Lamb pizza. Very little lamb in the pizza and we also ordered the Chicken and shrimp combo. It was ok.

Each bite was a taste of the beauty of Greece and its authentic food. I was in full awe by the quality, the people and service that made me feel like I was transported to Greece itself. Everything about this place was wonderful. Petros, you truly have created a beautiful restaurant! I ordered - the Greek Caesar salad - melitzanosalata - shrimp saganaki - rack of lamb - all the deserts (had to try them all) I WAS IMPRESSED WITH EACH ONE!

We stumbled upon Petros by chance last year and adored it so much that we drove almost an hour each way to take our family back this year. My partner's family is Greek and the dishes here are all authentic and incredible (the lamb specifically is the dish they had to come back for)! On top of the great food, the location is perfect (right by Manhattan beach), they allow your furry friends on the patio during lunch, and the staff is kind and attentive. A must!

I've only been for lunch, and it was quiet. I imagine for dinner it can be a bit noisier due to the busy location.

I honestly stopped by mainly to try the café since I was in the area, and I'm so glad I did. Since I love exploring and café hopping, this place was a really nice find. From the taste of the food, it's easy to tell they take their time preparing everything, and it truly shows. I tried the Bang Bang lentil bowl, which was flavorful and very nourishing, and for juice I ordered the Solar Citrus, which was absolutely refreshing. The food felt organic and fresh, with a good variety of vegan options. Kennedy and Meredith were great with service, warm, attentive, and made the experience even better. The overall atmosphere was calm and not chaotic at all. Before coming, I also confirmed whether the café was open to the public, and it is. You don't need to be a member to enjoy it. The café area is perfect for bringing a laptop or book without distractions. I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back.

The last time we were here, it was during a busy lunch and both the service and the food were below par. But tonight, it wasn't as busy and our server, Geovani, was excellent. First, we were quickly greeted and asked to select our table (since they were not that busy). Since there was only two of us, we picked a table for two. But, after we decided that we would split an appetizer and an entree, the table for two became way to small way too quickly. Geovani jumped right on this, suggesting we move to a larger table. He helped us move everything over and, voila, we were able to stretch out and relax and enjoy our meal. We started with the pear and blue cheese salad and, wow, we could have just ordered this, split it, and we would have been full. Very flavorful, generous portion that is definitely big enough to share. We also ordered the Sausage & Leek Fettuccine and I was definitely not thinking. Totally forgetting that leeks are part of the onion family (and I have a sensativity to onions). Once the dish arrive, I immediately noticed the similarity and was slowly trying to pick them away from my portion. Once again, Geovani came to our rescue. He asked how everything was and I told him I made a mistake (noted above). He quickly volunteered to have the kitchen make it again without the leeks. I asked, "Are you sure?", and he immediately said yes and removed the dish. Very shortly after, he returned with the "onion sterile" dish and it was wonderful. Both of us were so full you could have rolled us out the door. Good thing the parking garage is so close so we could just hop in our car and go home. Time to loosen the belt! ;) In a week where we have had some personal issues, it was so nice to be treated so well and received such a great tasting meal. Hope you get the time to stop in and I hope you get Giovani to answer all your questions and issues. Enjoy!!!

There's a real chew here--a springy, structured bite that gives just enough resistance before yielding. It's deeply satisfying and makes every dish feel more intentional. The cappelloni shows it off best: that almost-famous sauce wraps around each piece, but the pasta holds its own, so you get that perfect balance of silky and structured. Same with the tangiello--the meat sauce tastes like it's been simmering for days, rich and layered, but the noodles never get lost because that chew carries through. The Caesar isn't an afterthought either. It's got a subtle spicy kick that wakes everything up, and if you add chicken, it's done right--well-seasoned, nicely grilled, juicy with a bit of char. It turns a classic into something you actually remember. Dinner is where things go a little heartier, and the pork chop delivers. Fall-off-the-bone tender, but still full of flavor--not just soft for the sake of it. Jame just gets the fundamentals right, then pushes a little further. I was impressed with the clean and modern look of Jane Enoteca from the moment I walked in. Their dishes consist of several handmade pastas, salads and Italian inspired comfort food. My friend and I chose to start our meals with the Meatballs and Brussels Sprouts. Being a Brussels Sprouts fan, I really enjoyed their roasted crispy Brussels sprouts that were tossed in schiaffoni dressing and finished with sesame. Equal in deliciousness were their Meatballs. The Meatballs were tender, rich and saucy. These starters were a great way to kick off our meal here. For our mains, we got their Paccheri Lisci and Tonnarelli. The Paccheri Lisci had a bit of a spicy kick to it. It has spicy pork sausage sugo, fennel, sage and pecorino. It was meaty and flavorful. The Tonnarelli or Cacio e Pepe contrasted nicely with the Paccheri Lisci. This pasta dish was simple, sharp and peppery. This was more bold versus saucy. Last but not least we had some cookies for dessert. I loved the fresh baked snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies. It was a sweet and perfect ending to the meal here. Overall, I really enjoyed dining at Jame Enoteca. I am now looking forward to trying out their sister restaurant Jame Taqueria down the street.
