    Meatball Sub
    Chrissy L.

The Original Rinaldi's has a variety of sandwiches. The Meatball Sub, Pauly's Special, and Dragon each had its own personality. The Meatball Sub was loaded with meatballs and marinara. The Pauly's Special was packed with lean ground turkey. The Dragon was filled with golden-roasted turkey and roast beef.

    "Chicken cutlet sandwich"

I asked for a "chicken cutlet sandwich on a roll with lettuce and cheese" this is the most disgusting inedible sandwich I've ever eaten in my life. I cannot believe this was served to me. I specifically asked if they had chicken cutlets and the gentlemen said yes ..... horrible disgusting. So disappointed

16 oz. Vietnamese Iced Coffee DEC2025

This old school sandwich shop gets very busy and had people waiting on a Saturday afternoon for their orders. They off Vietnamese iced coffee which I ordered and it was really good without being over sweetened. The only thing that bugged me was the size and the price I paid which was 7 bucks for a small coffee, ouch.

The sandwiches are so good. I got the Mattman and Godfather (no pics on this though since there are olenty of that sandwich). Very consistent each time and quick to make, especially when I place the phone order. Will continue to come back.

Good local spot for a hot or cold sandwich, along with some hot entrees like pasta. Right on Mian Street in downtown El Segundo, street parking is free and there's a parking garage around the corner on Grand (entrance is by The Good Stuff). Lots and lots of choices. Freshly sliced deli meats for your sandwich. The New York Special is my go-to. Fountain drinks with free refills if you are dining in. There's indoor and sidewalk seating to watch those passing by. If you're not sure, there's a page here with a number of pictures of their sandwiches and salads. https://www.theoriginalrinaldis.com/gallery Hope you find something you like and...enjoy!!!

    The Mailman Sandwich

After a nice early afternoon with the fam at the beach, I was hungry for a sandwich, as always. Found this place on Yelp and wanted to try it because it was less than 10 minutes away from El Porto. Parking was a little tough so the hubby dropped me off in the front. This was a little before 1 pm, so there was a good amount of ppl inside the restaurant. I was the only one in line at the time., I went to go get my water in the fridge, came back and my sandwiches were done already! Super fast!! We ordered the UCLA bruin and the Mailman. The Mailman was for me and it surely delivered! I got my two fave meats in one sandwich.. capicola and prosciutto. So good! The bread was so soft and had that good amount of mayo and lettuce to wrap it all up. As I left I noticed a line had grown behind me. Perfect timing... I will definitely come here again when we are in the area.

Rinaldi's is a staple of El Segundo and we've been there a couple times in the past. This time I went with a neighbor during lunchtime on a weekday and the place...was...PACKED. They really seem to do amazing lunch service. There was a line and every table was full, but the staff worked fast and efficiently, delivering food to our table as soon as it was done being crafted. I got the Charlie Tuna, which may not sound particularly fancy, but delivered on quality and quantity, while being priced reasonably for the product. Whenever I have walked by on weekends in the past and seen the restaurant empty, I wondered how they were still around and surviving. Weekday lunch seems to be why, and they earn it well. Props Rinaldi's.

If you're looking for a great sub shop this is one of the best! It has an amazing menu. I ordered a large cheesesteak made with peppers and onions. It was delicious and super filling. My son ate their signature chopped Italian which came prepared thick cut style. He loved it. We took some home yet it only lasted a few hours. They hold up on the go too. We took two more home for my other boys and they devoured them! Definitely a great place to stop in while in El Segundo. Located right in the middle of Main Street where there are a lot of family owned businesses.

Honestly one of the best sandwich spots in the area. I usually get The Godfather and it never misses--the meats are fresh and the bread is perfect. If I'm trying to keep it a little lighter, their antipasto salad is huge and actually loaded with toppings, not just a bowl of lettuce. Super consistent and the service is always quick. Definitely a go-to for a solid lunch. #taxcap98 --Barbie

Sandwiches are filling, bread is soft and fresh. The meat is generous. The cost is reasonable for a good size sandwich with a good amount of meat. The people are super nice, warm and friendly. They are always ready to take your order. Note: There are a other menu items & specials to the left of the menu board. Restaurant has limited seating inside with some seating outside. The place is a typical mom & pop place, no frills sandwich shop. We love this place!!

Very good food. I tried the godfather sandwich it was delicious. This is my first time eating here, but I will definitely eat here again. Service was excellent!!

    Friday lasagna
    Lexi C.

This is my go-to spot for the best sandwiches, and Friday they have a great deal on lasagna! You can't go wrong here. Ingredients are fresh, bread is soft, and if you need a quick lunch to-go they can get you out the door so fast!! If you got a flight they can make a cold sandwich in like 2 mins even when they are busy they handle business. Hot sandwich maybe 5 mins. On Friday they have "small" lasagna for just $6.95 which is a great deal for lunch nowadays you can't beat that price and it's really yummy. The business is family owned local favorite. Very friendly family with nice staff.

This place has great sandwiches! The bread is always fresh! & soft! Can get busy during lunch but the wait is short so don't mind the line.

My son suggested we stop at Ghost Sando Shop before I dropped him and his fiancée off. Great idea. My wife and I shared the Kickin' Chicken: chicken, BLAST spread, chipotle adobo, melted mozzarella and sharp cheddar, topped with lettuce, pickled jalapeño, tomato, and white onion. It was delicious. The guy at the counter was friendly and welcoming, and even delivered our sandwiches to us as we sat outside at one of the shaded tables - it was pleasant if you need a spot to eat versus taking it to go. One thing I really like on a sando is shredduce. It just makes a sandwich taste better. Not sure why. Ghost got it right. It wasn't busy shortly after opening on a Sunday, which was nice. I really enjoyed both the sandwich and the visit. We'll definitely be back. 5 stars.

I ordered "the melrose" which seemed to be their flagship sub. It was at the top of the menu--seemed to be basically a turkey bacon ham club type of deal with a kick. Despite there being probably at least 15 ingredients, all I could taste was mayonnaise. The entire texture? Mayo. Blech. I didn't eat the second half. Solidly OK if you like mayonnaise. Who knows. Maybe "the melrose" just ain't the thing to get here. Not so sure I'll be back though.

But not like im licking salt. But a middle ground of a sandwich and licking salt. If you're a salty savory girl you'll LOVE the saltiness on the sandwich. My order: * The Farm Club: You really can't go wrong with this one. The pickled red onions and herb aioli give it such a nice tang compared to a standard club sandwich. The turkey was high-quality and the bread held up perfectly. * Spicy Curried Couscous: I had to grab a side of their signature couscous, and it didn't disappoint. It has that signature roasted cauliflower and just the right amount of spice to balance out the sandwich. It's easily one of the best sides on their menu. The highlight of this visit was definitely sitting outside (inside is ok, a bit noisy and crowded). The patio area is clean, spacious, and perfect for catching some sun while you eat but most tables are shaded by umbrellas. Even though it's right off PCH, it's a great spot to relax and enjoy the El Segundo breeze. A couple Tips: * Parking: The plaza can get a little tight during the peak lunch hour, so give yourself a few extra minutes or try to arrive just before the 12:00 PM rush. * Ordering: If you're in a hurry, their mobile pickup is always super seamless at this location and can help you get in and out or you can take your food and eat in the park like courtyard area. I'll definitely be back next time I'm craving a solid sandwich and some fresh air!
