food was like asian fusion! unique meals it was hard to decide what to order but cant go wrong! I got the scallop pasta and the creaminess was perfect
Tips: - Secure a reservation if you're dropping by during a busy period or if your party is large. - This place has sparkling drinks that are excellent. Short version? Everything we consumed was delicious. Go! My normal version starts now. I hadn't seen a couple of dear friends for a while. We originally wanted to catch up on Boxing Day. I had made a reservation, but the greater Toronto area ended up with a snowstorm that day. We changed meeting up to New Year's Eve at noon instead. I made a reservation for three at this Petit Potato through Google reservations. Changing it was easy. A few hours before the actual reservation, I got a text message to confirm or cancel. Nice! Petit Potato is located in a busy plaza. It has a grocery store next door. Parking can be hectic. I managed to find a parking spot across from the eatery and backed into it. I walked in. I was immediately greeted by a nice man. I said that I had a reservation under my name. Without skipping a beat, he led me to the booth closest to the door. Nice! It wasn't cold sitting near the entrance. There was a heater on the floor. It was effective, as my friends and I were warm during our entire stay. They came in. We had the best three hours here catching up, and enjoying good eats and drinks. I scanned the QR code for our table that got me an online menu. You basically order online and the food magically appears. You ask for the bill when you're ready. We did three orders. Our first order was drinks: - Blackcurrant sparkling water - Kiwi lemon sparkling water - Strawberry lemon sparkling water I am a huge fan of sparkling drinks, as is one of my friends. These drinks were super fizzy and refreshing. It also came with real fruit. It did take some effort for me to fish out the kiwi because the ice cubes were in the way. The fruit was so juicy. I ordered the strawberry lemon sparkling water, which was equally as fabulous. Our second order comprised appetizers and mains: - Japanese deep-fried tofu with assorted mushrooms - Popcorn chicken with aioli - Chicken teppan fettuccine in a spicy black pepper sauce - Sizzling spicy chicken with basil, ginger, and onion, with rice on the side - Unagi omurice with teriyaki - mushrooms and butter in the rice The deep-fried tofu and mushrooms were amazing. If you love them in a light broth, you'll be as happy as I was. I had half this appetizer. The popcorn chicken with aioli was impressive. The chicken was white meat in strips. It didn't look like popcorn. My friends ate this appetizer up. I had a few strips that were crispy and tender. The aioli was perfect. One of my friends ordered the sizzling chicken teppan fettuccine. I got to enjoy a bit of the fettuccine in a yummy, spicy black pepper sauce. The pasta was al dente and tasted homemade. The sauce was superb with bits of mushrooms in it. It wasn't too spicy, but the black pepper sauce had a lot of flavour. My other friend had the sizzling spicy chicken with basil, ginger, and onion. He loved it. It came with steamed rice on the size. It was steamy that you could easily get a facial if you put your face above this dish! I got the unagi (eel) omurice with teriyaki. It was excellent. The rice inside the omelette had butter and mushrooms. Highly enjoyable! It was nice having a solid piece of eel that was nicely grilled and tender. The omelette was perfect as a wrapper around the rice. It's how omurice should be made. This place nailed it! Our third and final order was dessert: - Creme caramel - Brown sugar crema souffle pancakes with boba and vanilla ice cream The creme caramel was so smooth. I'm talking silky smooth. You don't need to chew. It just glides down from your mouth into your stomach. The caramel had so much body with a slightly bitter finish to it. So good! My other friend went to town having the brown sugar crema souffle pancakes. We all thought that the boba were blueberries. Nope! I had some. The different textures of the boba with the jiggly pancakes, strawberry slices, and the best french vanilla ice cream was pure perfection. Brown sugar goes so well with boba. It was a fabulous end to our fine meal. We all used the washroom at different points. I used it before we left. It was clean. It was a single stall. No complaints. There are specials, depending on when you go. My friends were kind to pick up the tab. This place accepts credit cards. We had a fabulous time. Three thumbs up! We'll be back. (4)
For me, this place is the perfect spot for catching up with friends and family whenever I'm back in Toronto. Since this resto is located in a plaza with neighboring restaurants, you shouldn't have any problem with parking. Bonus points for being open late. My cousin and I arrived around 9pm (still crowded), but we were greeted and seated right away. We enjoyed and shared a few of our faves such as, Popcorn Chicken, Takoyaki (must try!), Kalbi, and Omurice w/ Pork Cutlet, which we enjoyed wholeheartedly. They have so many beverages to choose from, but we decided on the Mango Sparkling Water, which was surprisingly so refreshing and perfectly sweet from the fresh mango. Lastly, we could not pass up dessert (always room) and went with their Condensed Cream Toast and Nutella Toast, which were the perfect end to our delicious dinner. Food is served fresh and hot, very flavourful but not too salty. Service is fast and food's wait time is not too long. Ambiance, table are very clean, roomy and lots of table and no one will rush you out the door
We were going to have lunch in a nearby restaurant but the line was too long so we came over here. It was a nice surprise with lots of interesting choices. Some of the family had ramen. I chose the durian soufflé pancakes. It was so fluffy and dreamy!! The sauce was good and the durian wasn't overpowering the light dessert. I would highly recommend this dessert!
A casual Taiwanese fusion restaurant with a cozy vibe and an eclectic menu. Service was good and the food came out quickly. In terms of the food, I would say it's a little of a mixed bag. Some of the dishes we tried were delicious, while some others were just ok. I recommend the omurice, three cup chicken, and the black chicken herbal soup. Prices are reasonable and there's a parking lot on site.
Food 3/5 Service 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 Food This location has the same menu as the Yonge Street location but it's a smaller space. It's in a plaza though so there is free parking for those who drive. We ordered the rice noodle rolls, popcorn chicken, beef short ribs, & gyoza. Everything tasted good. But not long after eating, my stomach got quite upset. I'm not sure what upset it because I have eaten all of these dishes at the Yonge Street location & not had issues. Service Our waitstaff was a variety of ladies & 1 male server. Everyone was quick to deliver the dishes & friendly as well. There is even one robot server. The dishes came out quickly from the kitchen & were delivered quickly as well. Ambiance The restaurant was decorated for christmas & I thought that was really cute. Even though the restaurant is clean the place looks like it could use a refresh. It feels a little dated. There are only three single washrooms at the back, one for women, one for men & one handicap washroom. I had to wait to use the ladies washroom & the person before me made it really stinky. I wasn't too happy about that. I prefer the Yonge street location where there is more than one ladies washroom. Conclusion Even though the menu is the same I prefer the Yonge street location. As I mentioned before my stomach got really upset after eating here. These were all dishes I've had before at the Yonge street location without issue. So I'm not sure if it was just me or if something was really wrong with the food. I didn't taste anything that was bad. Anyway, I likely wouldn't come here again. The location isn't as convenient as the Yonge street location.
North York location is quite crowded now. The food is still good, just the attention and coziness has gone down. I recently went to Yorkville one (will do another post) and had a great time there. Although crowded, this location is efficient in clearing tables to minimize the wait time, lots of families and small groups on the weekends though!

Good Taiwanese tea and deserts restaurant, they offer a variety of options. Good place to gather with friends . Service is fast and good. The waitress doesn't speak Mandarin though.
Great food; was a little weird that you had to start ordering by QR code instead of actually ordering with real people who have to come by anyway when things don't work, like items not appearing for online order when it's sold out (e.g. mango bingsu). We got the booth near the bathroom which wasn't bad since you couldn't hear anything, just that people are constantly walking by your table. The place seems a little loud, but they close at midnight (at least on a Sunday) and we had a good time. 10% cash discount. Little weird also that we couldn't close out one tab and start another since I wanted to pay for dessert with my friend. I'd take my money however it was coming especially if you have a generally young clientele that wouldn't normally carry cash.
We were seated as soon as we arrive, the restaurant is welll lit and clean. The table was well tended to. We ordered the popcorn chicken to start, it was great! I love fried chicken, but this was really well flavoured, the chin tasted like it was well marinated before coating it with the spiced flour that it was also seasoned. We had the house fruit tea, also da bomb! Tastes like passion fruit and a nice sweetness to it, with chunks of fresh fruit, omg wow! The bimebap we ordered was beef with solid fried egg, but I really think the runny egg would have been much better for this dish. But it was simply delicious, the sauce was perfect for this dish, the whole thing came together so well when it was mixed at our table. So many textures from the veggies and meat. Our dessert was also just as amazing as the rest of the meal, my favourite was the mango golden sago, the ice cream is premium, and the fruit were mostly fresh, the water melon was a little older and soggy, but the rest of the dish was great! The mango snowflake came with popping boba and condensed milk, creative and delicious!
Free parking and lots of seating available. You scan the QR code to order, which i prefer because it has the menu items with pictures. it's easier to understand. the paper copy menu has some pictures but not for every single food item. I had the purple yam mille crepe cake here, it was not good. It was very dry and stale. The flavour was not pleasant, not sweet but didn't taste like purple yam. the mochi ice cream it came with was not great either, very stale mochi. The dragonfruit drink was ok. too powdery. Pay by cash and you get 10% off discount

Not bad. It was good but nothing really stood out. Got the pork ramen for $14 and popcorn chicken for $10. We ended up getting mango pancake $10. The ramen was good. Surprisingly alot of pork which I appreciate. The popcorn chicken was decent, wished it was more seasoned. And the mango pancake was alright -- there were pieces where there wasn't enough mango so that sucked! Alot of whipped cream. Which I personally am not a fan of but I know that's just me. I like the ambience, alot of seating and good music. I'd come back to try the mango mountain of toast with at least 4 ppl. Lol read more
I've seen lots of posts from Petit Potato so it's been on my list for quite a while. I finally got the chance to come here, along with some friends visiting from out of town. It was very crowded when we arrived but we managed to get a table after a short wait. We were looking for dessert, and of course, we had to order the house specialty, golden toast. We also ordered a mango roll and a super mango slush. The mango roll and slush arrived first. The mango roll was delicious, sweet ripe mango chunks rolled in a coconut gelatin. The mango slush was good but maybe a little diluted in flavour from the ice used to make the slush. Perhaps less ice would have made it tastier. The toast takes around 30 minutes but when it arrived, the presentation made quite an impression. It's big and tall, dripping with sweet goodness. Unfortunately, we thought it looked better than it tasted. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great enough that we may order it again. Five of us shared it and we couldn't finish it. Maybe I'll come back to try their savoury food. read more
I was not hungry when I stepped in Petit Potato with a group of friends. I decided on just getting their black milk tea with tapioca. I asked for it to be extra delicious ;) but I was sorely disappointed that they forgot to add that to my drink. My milk tea was bland and the tapioca was flavourless and rubbery. They were clumpy and stuck together so it was hard to drink. Note: I'm strictly basing my review on my milk tea. I'm fully aware that Petit Potato has a wide selection of foods to purchase. I tried elements of other people's food but I do not feel comfortable to review them. Next time, I will come back with an empty stomach so I can provide a more detailed review on their menu. I visited this place recently. The decor is modern and hip and looks quite nice. The servers were not really responsive as j need to ask three times before a server come over to take the order. The food was good, and the striploin steak was done medium rare. The omurice was a little overcooked for my taste. The black pepper sauce did not have the spicy punch that I was looking for. The price tag of $15.99 was a little pricey since it was not a combo and I need to order the beverage separately. The matcha latte was a little disappointing since there was no latte art and it was also on the pricey end. I ended up paying around $30 plus tips. I can get way better food with this price range. The servers once again did not come to our table as we ask for the bill and I had to walked up to the counter to pay the bill. It was a little strange since there were three servers and the place was not that busy. Anyhow, it was a subpar experience, probably won't come back soon. read more

loved our experience at petit potato - empress walk location. we made reservations and came in a group of 5. we knew we were going to order the golden honey toast tower before we even arrived because it looked amazing! we were so glad it tasted just as fab! the pasta was perfection - and i'm still thinking about it looking forward to coming back and trying even more options here. 3/5 of the group ordered the beef strip loin steak omurice w black pepper sauce and they loved it too! read more

Still dreamin about this hot mess from Petit Potato! Mango Special Golden Toast $17.99 4.5/5 It's probably best to share this huge dessert between 3-5 people because it IS made of bread which is super filling the dessert is supported by layers of thick bread slices (only the edges!), with the insides of the bread cut out into cubes and placed into the middle! It's super delicious to dip buttered toast into ice cream and mango do you like mango? read more

It is my first time to visit Petit Potato after its makeover. Now it serves Asian /Taiwanese food. Pork Ramen - broth and ramen were decent. Portion was good. There were two slices of chasu and they tasted okay. Rose honey tea (hot) - the pot of tea came with 2 small cups, $6.99 to share with two people wasnlt bad. It tasted good. Pork chop Omurice with curry - the good - Curry was tasty. The egg was runny at the ends but not in the centre part. The bads - Omurice was cold to room temperature when I had it. The pork chop was hot though, so I wonder if the Omurice were pre-made. The pork chop was small and not tender. Price tend to be on the high side and there is no lunch menu. Would I return? May be not. read more

Not sure why it took me so long to check this place out but definitely worth the wait. The service, food and atmosphere was pretty enjoyable. The service was excellent, wait times were decent and food was delicious! My bf enjoyed the omurice, as I with my choice of ramen. The pancakes will take about half an hour but it states that on the menu itself if you read the fine print. It was my first time trying them and they were uber fluffy with a pleasant round of flavours with the added choco bits, whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. Just wished they had more bathrooms or stalls bc as of now it's a single bathroom for both genders. And there's no change tables in there if you have a baby with you btw! read more
I'm quite positive a very large number of people came to check out Petit Potato because they've seen somebody posting the Brick Toast Tower on social media. I, for one, was among this group of people. When I got to my table I didn't even bother to check out the menu because I was sure I wanted the Brick Toast. I ordered the Mango Brick Toast and was informed that the wait time would be about 30 minutes. However, it only took them 20 to serve the food, which was awesome because I've been eyeing on the Brick Toast for a long time. But first, pictures time!! The Brick Toast was pretty good, but since it's covered in condensed milk and mango flavoured syrup, we got sick of it very fast to the point that it felt gross taking another bite. So if you're also planning to order the Brick Toast, be sure to come with like 3 other person in order to finish it when it's still fresh. When I packed it and tried to heat it up the day after it just didn't taste the same. We've also ordered some other foods such as ramen and beef on hot plate with green pepper, but those tasted average, and I find the food to be more expensive than comparable HK style cafe. Also, portions are not very big, didn't have any leftovers to take home. Go to Congee Wong next door and you'll pretty much find many comparable food items at a cheaper price with bigger portions. read more
My first couple of times here were mediocre, as the ramen and omurice weren't impressive, a few years ago. My friend and I had fun challenging ourselves to finish a brick toast tower with just the two of us, so while it was good, it was too much for just two people (we'd eaten our mains, too, before dessert). I came back this year, in June... They must have expanded their menu, and possibly changed chefs. This place is now one of my favourite comfort food places. Hands down my favourite spaghetti dishes are from this restaurant; the truffle sauce spaghetti with mushrooms, and the sea urchin sauce spaghetti with scallops are both SO GOOD. I hope they never take away those two pastas! Their steak with omurice was also delicious; I liked that the rice was cooked in butter or something savoury, and was very good even on its own. Their orange tangerine green tea slush is very refreshing. Oh, this is also the ONLY place that I've ever found, that serves taro sweet dumplings! And it's delicious. Eating here always makes me so happy. read more

Petit Potato is one of my favorite Taiwanese fusion restaurant and it is definitely a great restaurant where you can get everything in one spot! We got their beef sirloin omurice with black pepper sauce and we got their uni spaghetti with scallops. We loved how saucy the omurice was and the sauce was super delicious ! The steak was seared to a perfect medium rare. The pasta was extra creamy with the uni and there were many scallops in our pasta too ! We also got a mango shaved ice and it was topped with lychee balls that bursts in our mouths! Every dish was unique and the food came out super fast as well! All the food was cooked to perfection too! I have to try their signature toast tower next but it definitely looks like it's for 3-4 people! read more
Visited close to Halloween and was pleasantly surprised by all of the decorations. They did a wonderful job setting up a Halloween themed restaurant. Service was pretty good, considering the restaurant was full of customers and food came by quickly. However, the quality of the food is average and portion size is modest. There are lots of other good options in the area, but may come back for a drink or dessert in the future. read more
found omurice at North York! This is such a cute and adorable Taiwanese fusion cafe with. A large menu variety of meals and desserts. Comfortable and relaxing space with lots of seatings, really good place to come with groups too The tender pork cutlet was fried crispy, and placed on a soft Omurice topped creamy curry sauce. I like that they also have a special unagi Omurice option too! It was really filling with generous portion of rice. Just went back to this place and got to try other items (ramen, popcorn chicken, mille crepe cake and mango snowflake). Still sticking to my rating like last time, but wanted to add that the popcorn chicken wasn't as good as i expected. It had a decent coating but not crispy and crunchy enough, plus you can taste the flour in the batter. I won't be order that again. However all the other items we got were pretty good. I especially like the desserts at this place. Maybe next time we'll try the towering brick toast dessert :) read more

Open late, it was still packed at 10pm, but we were still seated quickly. Be advised, some of the flagship desserts like the huge toast towers and matcha lava cake take 30 minutes to prep, so this place really isn't ideal for a quick bite. The extensive menu seemed to have spanned entrees of sizzling plates and pasta, but we were there for one thing: dessert! We ordered a lychee/red bean shaved ice that had an interesting fruity flavour and a large amount of red bean and lychee popping bubbles as topping. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't show stopping at $12 Of course, we had to try the huge toast towers, so we got it in mango flavour. The thing is friggn massive! Between three people, it was still quite a bit with large pieces of toast, and a large serving of whipped cream and ice cream. At $19, it's pretty steep for bread and ice cream, so questionable value there. While the first two desserts were simply mediocre, we definitley had a standout: the matcha lava cake! Wow! The matcha was strong and was embodied by a soft and fluffy lava cake. By far, one of the best matcha desserts I've had in a long while. This, even for $12 was worth trying. Overall, it's pretty pricey so it is a good idea to come in a group and share. Some of the desserts are a little overrated, and thus the three star in that area. But between a great setting, good service, and a phenomenol matcha lava cake, four stars in a fair rank! read more

The portion of the food is good and the taste also very nice. The creamy sauce also makes the pasta tasty. Another chef recommendation is the hot plate beef pepper rice! It was really good, I definitely recommend it. Their interior setting was nice and the dining utensils are absolutely adorable! I will definitely visit again to try more varieties. read more
Came here for a mid-afternoon sweet treat with our friends. As we are still stuffed from lunch, we didn't get to try any savory items, though we definitely are interested to another day, as there are Korean items like bibimbap, Japanese omurice and ramen, and sizzling hot plates with very enticing aroma wafting from a nearby table. We are too stuffed to try their signature toast mountain, so we picked a few random desserts to try. No easy task as the dessert items take up half the menu, with items from crepe, turtle jelly, sago soup, milk pudding to shaved snow. We eagerly dug in with our miniature spades and shovels when the desserts arrive. The mango crepe has too much whipped cream and too little mango. Turtle jelly with mango ice cream is not bad, the jelly not too strong which can be a plus or minus depending on your preference. The undisputed winner is the durian sago soup, which has a big chunk of durian in it and a very nice flavorful. read more

First time visiting this place and I absolutely loved the food. We arrived at 8pm on Saturday and still waited for 15 minutes to be seated, so definitely expect a wait time. I ordered their advertised Pork Cutlet Omurice, and the food was served within five minutes. The curry was just the right amount of flavour and spice, and the egg was perfectly cooked and wrapped around the rice. The Mango Toast Tower is also a must order. Although the server told us there was a 35min wait for the toast tower, it was served exactly when we finished our main dishes. The tower was topped with a huge scoop of ice cream and layered with mango puree and whipped cream. I recommend topping the pieces of crispy toast with bites of ice cream; I liked it much better than dipping it in the whipped cream. The portions are very reasonable and the quality of the food is worth the higher price. read more

Petite Potato was quiet during my afternoon weekday visit. Service was good and the food and drink we ordered came out at a reasonable time. A good place to chill out and meet up with friends. The menu is extensive. Picking just one item could be quite difficult, but I can always come back on another day. I do love the options of both traditional Chinese dessert and other new and funky creation. Pricing is typical of Taiwanese Tea House. A little pricey but you do pay for the nice ambience. read more

Ordered their omurice because I've been trying to find one with similar flavours as that in Japan. We ordered the tonkatsu omurice and eel omurice. The curry was ok. A bit on the saltier side yet not that flavourful if you know what I mean. The tonkatsu was rather small and disappointing too as it wasn't crispy and a bit dry. The egg however was nice and smooth and paired well with the curry. The rice was mushroom fried rice and had a lot of mushroom flavour, but it felt more like canned mushrooms rather than fresh. My friend ordered the eel so I didn't really taste it. The sauce was good but comparable to the ones you buy at the grocery store. The eel looked decent size. Was still hungry after so ordered their rice noodle app. Simple and although nothing special, it gave the taste you would typically enjoy from this dish. The sauces were balanced and the noodle rolls were soft and smooth. Overall there was nothing special from this meal. A little on the expensive side too but the flavours were ok. read more

The desserts at the place is definitely instagram worthy! The only reason i cannot give this place a 5 star is because of how the taste lacks in comparison to its appearance. I do think it is tasty but i didn't finish it as it wasn't anything special. The presentation definitely trumps it's taste. read more
My brother in law had been raving about their golden brick toasts since he learned of our visit home! It was a "must try" regardless how full we felt. We ordered the strawberry version. We were mentally prepared to wait the quoted 30 minutes for the heavenly toasts. But at one hour mark during the non peak hour, we were so ready to walk out. When we finally had our chance to dig in, it was the most disappointing bite on this trip. Aside from the Instagram worthy presentation, the brick toasts were just stale bread with overwhelming amount of cheap mini marshmallows, melted whipped cream and ice cream. The stale bread/toasts weren't even warm! We saw a stack of them already made by the counter. Why did they take almost an hr to assemble? Do yourself a favor - buy a whole loaf of bread, toast it, drizzle some condensed milk, want something fancy? Throw a scoop of ice cream on top, maybe some fruits too - way better tasting, way better quality. And I just saved you an hour of your life. read more

[FOOD] - 5/5 Their menu is massive. Seeing 3/4 of their menu with desserts, you'd think that perhaps their food menu might not be as good... I enjoyed some of my favourite dishes here at Petit Potato. We ordered deep fried chicken cartilage, taiwanese sausage, the Japanese beef bowl, the curry omurice, and the durian millie crepe cake. Firstly, the appetizer dishes were very delicious. They perfectly executed the fried chicken. It was fried perfectly and came with a delicious sauce. The taiwanese sausage was sweet and savoury. For the main dishes, I really loved the rice bowl. The beef slices were plentiful, sweet, and tender. It was so good. I really loved the omurice as well because of the rich curry sauce that the egg omelet was sitting in. A huge disappointmen to me was the pork cutlet sitting atop the egg.i found it overcooked as it was super tough and chewy. [SERVICE] - 4/5 Their service was just adequate. It wasn't bad nor was it exceptional. When we tried to split the bill they asked us to pay at the counter. That was understandable. [OVERALL] - 5/5 The cafe is very pleasing to the eye and possesses a very cute aesthetic. I loved the booths that we were seated in which gives a lot of comfort and privacy when eating. They also have outlets in the booths so you can charge hour devices while eating! read more
Went to this place on a sunday afternoon. and was actually expecting a decent place to grab a bite and desert with group of 11 friends. When i arrived at this place. it was half empty as it was around 4:00pm at the time. so originally the service was ridiculous they wanted to shove 11 of us in a 7 person table, simply because they want to save tables for other customers. i immediately demanded that they find proper seating and if i did not insist they would've tried to shove us all in. They ended up putting us in 2 tables. that part was already pretty bad. but was looking forward to ordering their widely advertised toast tower desert. since i've tried it at a lot of location as wondering how well they did theirs. we ordered some food as a group, and then desert as well. Than they came and said to us that they "ran out of toast" at 5:00pm before the start of dinner service, they had already run out of their signature toast desert. which i think means they are just ridiculous. That was not the worst part.; this place seems to want to reach a new level of bad. The food we ordered, when it did arrive, all of it was bad for various very basic reason. A friend ordered the duck hot plate rice, the rice was under cooked and was hard as rock. another ordered popcorn chicken with ramen, which somehow became tasteless. Another friend ordered basil chicken, where they had no basil and no flavor that she had to ask for salt. and i ordered a curry pork katsu omurice, which was a whole new level of bad. The curry was basically curry water, no texture no flavor, the pork katsu breaded was wrong, the pork was overcooked, and the breaded fell apart the minute you grab it. the rice in the omurice was also under cooked. it really takes a monumental type of failure to reach this level of bad. it seems the people there don't know how to cook anything. I would avoid this place like the plague, the chef's can't cook period, service is not good, and overall just a terrible terrible restaurant. it amazes me they can be bad at almost every variety of dishes they have on the menu. seeing the positive reviews around for the regular food, i have doubt on whether those people actually know what good food taste like read more

This is probably the one and only time I'll be coming here. It's busy, with fast service, but the quality of food besides the dessert is not up to standards. The ramen which was ordered, was bland and the meat was just all fatty meat. The chicken basil was also too oily. Not sure if the busy restaurant, caused the deterioration of the food quality..maybe. Parking is a zoo at this plaza. There are multiple restaurants with very little parking. Pack your patience! 1/5 stars Atmosphere: It's well lite with modern decor. But this place needs a good dusting. Music was loud and it didn't help a large group was sitting next to us. 3/5 stars Service: Service was poor. We had sat down and had to call the waiters twice before getting the menus. Although food came out in a fast pace, it came in batches. 3/5 stars Food: It's decent! Nothing really special! Although we wanted to try the Mango Special Golden Toast, but was disappointed to hear it was sold out. Kinda weird since this place was not busy when we got there at noon and was only open since 11. 3/5 stars Price: Items on the menu is a little on the pricey side. I had the pork cutlet omurice with spicy curry sauce. It was $14. It had 5 pieces of cutlet. Not worth the price! Our total was just over $55 with 2 mains and 2 desserts. 3/5 stars Overall: Okay place to eat. Reservation is optional. Had lunch there, the food was ok, disappointing was the omurice, first of all the waitress gave us the wrong one, we ordered the pork cutlet, but she punched in the steak, fine we ate it, the steak was kinda tough and the dish in general was just warm in temperature. Fried items were hot, of course,and the desserts were good! I've only been there just for desserts never really tried the entrees. Might want to stick with the desserts and finger food! read more
Visited this place for their dessert. They have an extensive food and dessert menu with many options. Upon arrival, we liked the Scandinavian interior design of the restaurant and how spacious it was. We ordered the Golden Mango Roll, House special milk pudding and assorted sweet dumplings in coconut. Golden Mango Roll - Before ordering, we asked the server what this was, he didn't really describe it well but because my friend loves to eat mango we ordered it. This dish was like a rice noodle roll (cheung fun), the rice noodle part was slightly coconut flavoured and the filling inside contained freshly sliced sweet mango pieces. We enjoyed this dish but the rice noodle part was a bit too thick, we ended up just eating the mango pieces. House special milk pudding --Was okay, typical sweet milk pudding, Not overly sweet and came in several small pieces. I came here on a Friday evening there were a lot of people. We were group of four and we were seated immediately. We came here just for desserts. Do not get the shaved ice it tastes very artificial. We did finish it however I've had better shaved ice. We also ordered a crepeAnd it wasn't the tastiest. However I think they are famous for their French toast they stack is super high I don't know how people finish it really. We also got to the pancakes Japanese style I think they were trying to copy fuwa fuwa pancakes and it wasn't that good at all. Overall I don't think I will come back here because desserts Don't taste very fresh and they're kind of pricey for what you get. read more
