Do not get no fish from here i stg they die in like a week ive tried so many times and have treated them for ick and everything

Bought a bearded dragon and it was sold to with dermatitis, and died. I was not made aware of the disease. I noticed the spots on belly first day when I got home. He had proper lighting, food, water, temps, everything. I was told if anything happens I will get a new one in return, as long as it happened within a year and wasnt my fault of him dying. I do not recomend this place, they sell sick dogs as well. I also got fish, setup tank weeks before got fish so it was all situated and safe for the fish, and they died within 30 minutes. employees are very rude as well. read more

So just want to let people know this Petland charged me the wrong price for a bird when I went back to talk to them the district manager would not even come out and discuss what we could do to make it right. He sent his employees out to tell me to get out and refund my money or call the police..Well I chose for them to call police out so there is documentation of the event because all I wanted do is talk to him about the price of the bird I thought I was purchasing.Never once did the district manager come out and talk to me about the situation and I ended up getting band from this location due to negligence on there part...Its ridiculous to claim your an expert in animals when you don't even know which animal you are selling.. Guess my money was not good enough to be spoken to like a customer...oh well..yall just be safe buying from this location because if something is wrong and you want to speak with manager....its not going to happen and you will get band read more

What a joke! I will never be back. The staff completely wasted my time. They would not sell me fish and the place smelled horrible.

I didn't catch the girls name but she seemed to be a manager, i asked about one of the fish out on display that's cup was disgusting. "Do yall have an adoption policy for sick fish?" "you can buy him." she looked at me and said. Every fish on display has the nastiest tanks i've yet to see with MANY dead fish on display as-well as being eaten off of by other fish in the tank. one time I came and asked this same worker if she could put an angel fish in a isolation tank. I watched as in a EMPTY store she took him out and let him in a small cup , he passed within the 2 hours of me being there and could have been saved. I've never been met with more attitude then i was met with at this place. I talked softly and with a smile the whole time. Every tank in there is disgusting and they seem to know as they have almost every fish on sale which is embarrassing. These poor fish should be nothing more than a penny. They deserve a good life just like the dogs that come in and out of the location. read more

Would not sale this cage to us for the price listed. Said it was in the wrong spot. Pictures of where they put it in the "wring spot" again. Would not do anything to make it right Grace just kept saying the price was wrong because they were there all day since 8am, and that they just want to go home and go to bed. The guy there kept cutting my husband off while he was speaking. When we asked why is it in the wrong spot again the guy there said in a condescending voice, "they'll put it in the back just for us." As someone who has worked a lot of retail myself, it was surprising how the situation was handled. Said it was against the owners policy to correct prices. This was the place I went to for my fish/dog needs and was about to purchase another animal from them, whose stuff i would have also bought from there. After this experience i will be going across town to Pet Sense. read more

Terrible. Terrible customer service. Went on a Sunday afternoon to get three goldfish. Waited for 10 minutes in the fish section and no one ever came. We were told they were short staffed so we patiently waited for another 25 minutes. We got fed up and left, while there were 3 employees standing idly by at the register. It's a shame there is no Petsmart in town. I will not be coming back to this place. I'd rather travel to be Petsmart in Cartersville. read more

So I was on the waiting list for a puppy at the Dalton location and they sold the puppy without informing me . Good thing I called cause I was recommended to another puppy of the same breed at the Dalton location and they were very helpful. They give you lots of information on how to take care of your dog. You could tell the dog was happy with them because he cried when we had to go, but he's warming up to his new home read more

I live in Rome, and I often frequent Pet sense. This particular day I walked into this store to pick up something for my dog. Apparently they don't believe we are in a pandemic. No one has mask, they don't require covering before entering the store. Here we are if you don't care enough to protect your customers and the pets you service, I choose in the future not to frequent this establishment. I am posting because if you believe in science and protecting you and your family from being sick or potential death. You might want to adhere to this warning. read more

Never get fish from here. I bought 3 neons and 2 cory catfish to go with the 2 adult neons in my tank. In the past 5 days, 7 neons (original 3 of theirs + the 3 they replaced them with + 1 of my adults) and 1 of the catfish have died. There were dead fish in the tank at the store (should've been a red flag), and they also accidentally sent an invasive snail home with the first batch of fish I bought. Employees are very nice, but the quality of fish is horrible. read more

Very good pet-store and will always have what you need :) I go here to get feeder rats for my ball pythons and the staff is always friendly and sweet. And quick to boot! They have puppies of all breeds and kittens sometimes too! They have snakes, lizards, birds, ferrets, all that jazz and everything you need to care for them :) Never go to a PetCo or PetSmart!!!!!!!! go to places like this that actually care for their animals~ read more

I just bought a bag of 60 capsule pill pockets for $23 at the Petland in Rome, GA. They don't carry Purina dog food so I went to Walmart. I saw the same bag of pill pockets there fo $12. That is more than a $10 difference. Let me say that I am the stupid one. But how can you justify charging double what another store charges? read more

I went in looking for Advantage II for small cats in the two pack and they were out of stock. The girl that was helping me asked someone behind the counter, I assume a manager, when would be the next delivery. She shrugged her shoulders and said she had no idea. I asked if this occurs often with this product and she said "Yes sir." I went to Petsense in West Rome and they had plenty in stock. read more
