I couldn't have found a better situation for me and my dog, Kayla's great to him and for us. Couldn't have a better situation for us since I travel a lot for work. So dependable and it's obvious to me that my dog really digs her. She just doesn't come over to feed and let him out but takes extra time to play a little and let him work off some energy. Checks the mail, brings in packages and lots of other little "extras" that are a big help to me. Highly recommend her. You can't go wrong with Kayla. She's the best!

I've been trying to plan for a week-long work trip at the beginning of May, followed some time in Europe, and needed to secure boarding. Over three days, I submitted multiple intake forms (in case the first didn't go through), sent texts, and called. There was no follow-up, no acknowledgment. Nothing. The only response I received was a single text saying they weren't accepting new boarders until May 1 and to fill out a request form...which I had already done multiple times. If you're too busy to take on new clients, that's completely understandable. But ignoring repeated outreach and sending a generic, unhelpful response isn't. Communication matters, especially when people are trying to make plans with real deadlines. They may be great with dogs, but based on this experience, I wouldn't rely on them if you expect professionalism or responsiveness.

Luna was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in June of 2025 and now takes medication twice daily. If left at home with her sister cats she would not get her medication due to hiding when the caretaker entered the house. We booked a two week stay at the Scratching Post while we traveled. I thought she would hide her whole time at the Inn, but to our surprise it was the opposite. During our daily updates we learned after the first 2 days of being shy she opened up to the staff. She enjoyed spending time with them, petting, scratches and followed them around, the word velcro kitty was used one day. She was very well taken care of during her stay. She is already scheduled for another stay at the Inn.

Even the rooms they keep them in are so much better than cages you see at other places. No cages here! They have little townhomes, standard suite or deluxe suite. I chose standard since I didn't think she needed the bigger room since it was just her. They also update you with pics and how their day went. If you can't tell I was incredibly pleased with this place.

Livid. My dog came out with a 2" cut. They gave him a "mini groom" (though I had requested full)…read morewhich just includes face and nails, so this cut is from a restraint strap! The cut wraps around underneath his right front leg. I had talked to the groomer, Natalie, about getting him back in for a full groom before I discovered the cut. She told me he is a "high energy" dog and that I need to walk him 30 minutes before bringing him. Can you say "rude?" He's a 1 year old Yorkie! What would you expect? Natalie also has never trimmed his nails because she doesn't want to "stress him." She should not be a groomer. Don't trust them with your babies!!!
