However, trainer Hong has helped me with proper form so I can avoid injuries now or near future. It's akin to going to the gym. You can lift weights, but without proper form, eventually you may pull a muscle,hurt your lower back, etc. I want to play pickleball for as long as I can and avoid unnecessary injuries. I took my first 2 hours lesson with Hong today and learned so much. My girlfriends and I are now doing group sessions. You won't find me in the kitchen during my free time, unless I am dinking to Hong in the kitchen!

They also changed our course ,the course we played the people there were not very friendly the clubs they organised didn't have any balls ,tees lucky I brought my own. We were also supposed to get a sleeve of ball each didn't happen they forgot to bring the ,told us they would mail them to us didn't take our addresses so that can't happen . After the game wait about twenty minutes for them to pick us up . Next time we go to Hawaii will be looking for another company to play golf with . Glad the holiday was good anyway.

Course was not busy so I played 2 balls, great practice as first game of the year. Course was ok, challenging enough from the back tees. A shuttle was there to pick me up within 15 minutes of me finishing my game. Overall I'm fine with Aloha Golf Tours, I've used them in the past and will again.

Ken is an exceptional golf instructor. My dad and I have been wanting to play golf together and the…read morestars finally aligned for us to be able to play on Saturdays. The only issue is that my golf game was greatly lacking. I had been given one off lessons over the years, but they only made my game worse. My dad then surprised me with some lessons with Ken and over four lessons he changed my game substantially. Starting off with my first lesson he asked why I was playing golf, and I explained that is was to have fun with my dad on Saturdays. He then said, so our goal is to make golf more fun and less aggravating. We worked on some fundamentals such as posture and grip. In fact fixing my grip that I had been told by so many other instructors was the best for me, but actually it hampered with my ability to hit the ball correctly. That little bit of change allowed me to actually hit the ball correctly instead of it just dribbling in front of me because my club didn't hit the ball in the middle of the face. The other important change he made is that he allowed me to make my own stance that fit my swing. Other people that had helped me had always commented on my foot placement after swinging, but Ken helped make it work and actually my game improved for it. I was amazed and instantly hooked on his teaching style! The next three lessons we worked chipping, driving, different flights (slice and hook), and improving the way I would be playing golf. The part that really amazed my father is that before I even started lessons, I could not hit my driver. Now I was hitting it consistently over 260 yards! Again a huge thanks to Ken and his coaching. Finally one of the best parts about Ken. He is humble, not pushy, and has real knowledge from golf pros. Everything that he taught me he backed up with facts to explain why it was needed or who had championed the technique. This really makes it easy to understand the teachings he is giving me and even sometimes a few jokes here an there! Now that I am playing to well my dad is now taking lessons with Ken to hopefully up his game and not let me get to far ahead and he has also seen major improvement! I also convinced my wife to take up golf, because of the great experience I was having with Ken and she is already seeing major improvement after only a few lessons. I can't wait to take another lesson and improve my golf game with Ken. He has really made the game less frustrating for me and more fun. Highly recommended!!!

Dr. Jimmy Lin is a master at his craft--seriously, if there were a PhD in healing, he'd have it! He tailors programs specifically for your needs, ensuring you're not just another number in the system. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff genuinely cares about your recovery. After my back surgery, I feel much more at ease. I have spoken with another patient who was there at the same time and she said that he was the only one she trusted and that she would fly over from another island to get a treatment from Dr. Jimmy. That speaks volumes. If you are serious about your recovery and health and are willing to put the time in then this is your spot.

It got to a point where I had trouble walking after sitting for long periods of time and I could barely do a squat. So I decided to check out The Forge. On my first visit, they went over my personal goals and did an assessment. The goals were necessary for me to visualize because it is the end goal in order for me to get better. I needed to heal completely and not have a temporary fix on my injury. On days where I would feel less pain, my heart wanted to jump back into doing the intense workouts next door. However, through their system, I was reminded that I must completely heal before I re-injure myself. I finished their program and also learned a lot of things about my physical limitations and health and ways to improve. I am able to walk and squat now with no pain in my left knee. I highly recommend coming to see the guys at The Forge for all your physical therapy needs, even the minor injuries..... it's always better to take care of the injury when it's small. They really show that they care about you. LOCATION: They are on the Makai side of Waimanu Street, Kokohead side off of Ward Ave. The backside of their office is F45 Ala Moana. PARKING: They are by appointment only, they have a few spots in front and there's always a spot because only their clients park in front. Free parking. SERVICE: The staff is amazing! They really show that they care about you. I felt comfortable there. I didn't feel like a client, I felt like family there. COST: Depends on your insurance and injury.... I came and tried the West Coast swing class on Sunday night. The fee was $10 if you were not a member. Members paid $20 to be a member and then the classes are five dollars. Apparently the Classes run once a month and then I believe in June they will go to twice a month. On that day, they offered beginning an intermediate classes. They split everybody up in two groups and they had two different teachers. Normally there is a shortage of male dancers. And there is plenty to dance with. After an hour of classes. The classes were brought back together for social dancing. Everyone was super friendly There are different dance clubs that offer classes throughout the week and monthly.
