Grooming service is wonderful. Dogs are not caged. They have a small outside area they can wait. Mark is an excellent groomer.

I cherished him so much and he passed of old age in March of this year. I didn't want a new pet from the pet store, but a rescue that needed all the love I had to offer. So i emailed Herpaderp last night. I got a quick and friendly response and a request to send current time-stamped photos of the enclosure I had to offer to my new friend. I really like that they do that, definitely shows how much they care for their reptiles. Everything worked out great and my husband and I were able to go there today and meet up with Christian. He was super friendly. They had a very large designated room where they kept quite a bit of reptile friends, all in appropriately sized enclosures. All the reptiles looked relaxed and healthy with a super chill vibe. No one surfing or distressed. We had the privilege of walking around their beautiful yard where they have ample fruits and vegetables planted. We met some outside turtles in an awesome pond and a silly tortoise that followed us around the yard. We ended up adopting Chester, a spunky bearded dragon that was missing an eye. What he lacked there he makes up in personality. My husband and I were really impressed, and grateful for the work that these kind hearted people do. They absolutely care about their rescue and have put fourth a lot of time and effort into creating a safe space for their reptiles. I highly recommend this rescue if you're looking for a cold blooded friend!

Over $1400 later and nothing was diagnosed or treated to the point she was better. Fast forward to today! My little Scooby had to be taken there. The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly caring and patient. Dr. Hilty listened, was informative, gave me several options for what was going on. I appreciated him and the staff. If in need again, I would return for any future medical emergency needs. They said they were trying to onboard specialized doctors to be onsite. That would be perfect for the area. He came in…read moreafter suffering a traumatic body wall hernia following a fight that he started but definitely couldn't finish. As scary as the situation was, every member of the team treated us with compassion, kindness, and professionalism from the moment we walked through the door. They took the time to explain Leo's injuries, the surgery he needed, the possible complications, and the financial estimate. Even though we were terrified, we never felt rushed or left in the dark. The surgeon kept us updated, answered every question honestly, and made sure we understood exactly what was happening. During surgery, they found that Leo's intestines had protruded through the torn body wall and were very inflamed, but thankfully they were still healthy enough that they did not need to remove any of his intestines. They carefully checked for leakage, thoroughly cleaned the area because of the dog bite, and successfully repaired the body wall. We are so grateful for the skill and expertise that went into his care. What stood out just as much as their medical expertise was their compassion. Everyone treated Leo with such kindness, and they treated our family with the same care during one of the most stressful experiences we've ever been through. Today, Leo has made a full recovery and is completely back to his usual mischievous self. Our little "tough guy" has officially retired from picking fights with dogs many times his size, and we couldn't be more thankful that this team gave him that chance. They didn't just save our dog--they saved a beloved member of our family. They also saved my daughter's best friend. She would have been absolutely devastated if we had lost him, and because of this incredible team, she still gets to grow up with the little dog she loves so much. Thank you for giving our family more time with Leo. We will never forget your kindness, your honesty, and your incredible care. We recommend this hospital without hesitation. Five stars truly aren't enough.

Josh is a genuinely kind person with a heart of gold, but based on our experience, I would not…read morerecommend him as a dog trainer. We paid over $6,000 for a one-month board-and-train program for our German Shepherd. One of the first things that concerned us was that he told us he had "his dogs" teaching our dog how to be a dog. We expected that, for the price, our dog would receive consistent, hands-on training from the trainer himself. Because the training took place over the Christmas holidays, it felt like our dog did not receive the level of attention and daily training we had anticipated. We also expected that, at the end of the program, we as the owners would receive several training sessions to learn how to maintain and reinforce the work at home. That never happened. When our dog came home, she was still reactive, continued chewing things as she had before, and overall showed little to no improvement. Josh gave us a spray collar (citronella or a similar scent) and instructed us to use it whenever she barked. I wasn't comfortable using it because it felt like it addressed the symptoms rather than the underlying behavior, so I chose not to use it. He also suggested that she was simply too active and that we should consider rehoming her if we couldn't handle her. That advice turned out to be completely wrong for our dog. Afterward, we worked with a local trainer for three months who focused on daily, balanced, hands-on training for both our dog and us--without spray collars or gimmicks. The transformation was remarkable. Her reactivity is gone, she learned how to behave appropriately, and we realized she wasn't "too active" at all. She was simply a family dog who needed consistent guidance and proper training. Looking back, I feel that the board-and-train program was not worth the money we paid. While Josh was always pleasant and well-intentioned, our experience was that the program did not deliver the training or results we were promised. Don't waste your money. Josh may be a great guy to rescue dogs, but in our experience he does not know how to do reactivity training or work alongside owners to change challenging behaviors.

We had maintained a nice foundation but felt it was appropriate based on a myriad of factors. We were placed with Emily and our experience was excellent. We knew Emily from many of our group trainings but had yet to do extensive one on one with her. Emily's approach is honest, consistent, soft (but firm) and very relatable. She was communicative in every way and made us feel safe. Given we had already done one camp we felt comfortable with the facility but each trainer brings their own nuance. Emily was clear and concise with each weekly update- she was really positive and had a ton of healthy feedback. Training is a huge investment of time and money.... Something we don't take lightly, but we have felt it was incredibly worth it both times. The continued support offered is 10/10, the communication is consistent and the general vibe is that everyone really wants to be there, including all the pups.
