We were able to get the part that we needed so our well fed birds have a place to gather around and grab a bite to eat. They have a huge supply of anything you need to feed outdoor birds - feeders, seed, wind chimes, ... anything that makes your front or backyard oasis more cozy. I also saw online that they have a "Daily Savings Club" that offers discounts on purchases for a $25 annual membership fee. We also have another smart bird feeder with a camera that identifies and films any movement. Both feeders are located in our front yard (away from the dog that has backyard access). The birds love to visit both feeders and we enjoy feeding them. This store provides the ultimate in customer service and quality products!

Every member of the staff that I have met was friendly knowledgeable, and cared genuinely about the experience for both my pup and for us. Communications has been excellent. Our dog Blondie looks forward to going 2 to 4 days per week. She always comes home tired which is what we would expect. The facility is excellent and gets better every day. They are constantly improving but, I'm impressed by the diversity of the engagement that the dogs have. They have group play in a room or they can go outside and there's a splash pad which apparently is a big hit. Maybe it's a pool I don't know but it's shallow and the dogs get wet and enjoy it. The staff members we have watched interact with not just our dog, but also with the entire group is a whole and they have always been actively engaged and moving the entire time. We're not talking about a minute or two at a time, they are constantly moving and constantly engaged. It's actually very impressive. I have to call out Omar who did a very difficult nail trim on our pitsky (pit bull - Husky) as the quick of her nail comes out fairly far. It is the best nail trim. She has had to date. No problems whatsoever and he said it was easy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND and wholeheartedly endorse The Dog Stop - Plano as a safe and wonderful place to take your pet for play and grooming. There seemed to be awareness and a far better groomer was in place by early this year. But the front desk personnel... seemed always a new person and that became a real challenge. Experienced a few surprises when it came to final price vs original quote. Our observation is the new hires were not trained well prior to being on the floor and working with customers. Inaccurate price quotes, several booking mistakes, etc. After navigating a challenging phone call with yet another new person to simply book an appointment, I received a voice message from the owner stating they would no longer take us as customers. She cited behavior from that morning (I called around 4pm) and she stated she hadn't viewed the camera footage...?!? Again I had simply called and neither me nor my spouse had stepped foot in there in the prior 30 days. The owner invited a call back which I took her up on within 15 minutes of her phone call. She didn't answer, I left a message and she never bothered to return my call. Please see photo of the owner's voicemail transcript. My take: employees are likely treated similarly hence the constant churn and turnover. Beware!

I dropped my two cats off on a Saturday at ACE Pet Resort while we were going on vacation. When I…read morearrived, I was informed that the cat room was being painted and that my cats would not be able to stay in the cat condos but in 'kennels' somewhere else in the facility due to paint fumes. I was assured that it would only be for two days (until Monday). I asked to see where the cats would be staying and was informed that I was not allowed to see where they would be kept as it was not a tour day/time. I expressed my concern about not being informed prior to arriving that the cat room would be closed for a portion of our stay and that I was not allowed to see where the cats would be boarded. The cats ended up being in the cat kennel for four days (instead of two days) and ACE Pet Resort charged me the full price for the cat condos even though my cats were in kennels for the first 4 days.

The dog runs have a door that can be raised for the dogs to go out in a field to run and do their business then the dog comes back to in dog run so the staff doesn't even have to touch him perfect place for my dog. When I first went in I said do y'all keep aggressive dogs and I said yes we do. I was very excited to find a place for Kujo. I went back to see where they kept them, and they showed me the door that goes out to the field for them to run. I was so happy. I explained to the staff not to pet Kujo because he doesn't like other people, he's just likes me and my wife, but they decided they need to be able to handle him and pet him. The one boy that works there, I guess he's a man got a little scratch on his arm when he was screwing with Kujo so when I called back about three or four months later, he said they can't keep him because they can't handle him. They have a great place. They just need to train their staff. Even though they have the perfect pace for working dogs that you cant pet they're not trained at all to handle those types of dogs. The boy in the picture below is the boy that caused all the problem, and he lied to me about being there when I picked my dog up. Not one word about his little scratch. They have one male that works there his name is Cole. He is in the picture below feeding Kujo a treat by hand. I had a deal with Cole and other staff to tip them $200 if they send me pictures of Kujo in the field getting his running. We are still trying to find a good place for our baby since his trainer retired. From the Pappy's manager Dee, I appreciate your reply and insight regarding your experience at our facility. I will keep it in mind. We completely understand Kujo's personal space preferences and our team accommodated for that during his previous stays. However, this is not a feasible option going forward as our staff does have to be able to handle any pets in our care. I have reminded our team of our policies for accepting pets to avoid any future uncertainty on the matter. I have also reviewed the footage and can confirm. The employee present was adhering to Kujo's boundaries when Kujo approached the employee first and bit his arm. The bite did break skin but did not require medical attention which I believe is also part of why you were not informed during Kujo's stay in February. I have discussed the correct procedures for customer communication with our guest service reps because sharing pertinent information like this should never be missed. Thank you again.
