On May 21, I received an email that their location had closed THE DAY BEFORE and that Long Beach and Lakewood would honor up to 5 class credits. Wtf. I went back to all my previous emails from Zoom Room HB and there was not a single announcement that they will be closing down. We immediately emailed the business requesting a refund for the unused credits and it has been over a week and we kept being told by Vince to be patient. My partner asked for a timeline, and in which Vince had requested another 5 days. I had filed a dispute for a portion of refund with my credit card company before they completely disappear. As someone in property management, the business owner would have at least known 60 days in advance (maybe even earlier depending on their lease contract) that they will not be renewing. They decided to wait until the day after closure to announce they are permanently closed to not deal with in person questions from their customers.

He trained my husband and me as well as our puppy! So grateful. Tommy has a gift for knowing how dogs think and he shares that knowledge as part of the session. We never felt rushed to finish a lesson when he came to the house, he just dealt with our issues and reminded us to keep practicing with our dog until next time. We even decided to enroll in his weekly puppy class so that our puppy would learn to behave around other dogs. His private dog park is a god-send as we live in a condo and don't have a yard for our puppy to play in. She loved going there and we'll be back! We highly recommend Tommy. After 3 sessions with him, his advice was to punch my dog in the face and head until she worried more about me than other dogs. As you can imagine that did not work and we stopped going. I started calling around to other trainers I found online but nobody wanted to work with such a big aggressive dog. One trainer referred me to Tony. After talking with Tony and watching his webinar he referred us to Xavier who from the first 15 minutes had my dog sitting down calmly and accepting directions. I can't speak highly enough for how professional results oriented both Tony and Xavier have been. We were considering returning her back to the breeder before meeting Tony and Xavier. Julie was a pleasure to work with from start to finish--super knowledgeable, patient, and clearly experienced. She also took the time to make sure we understood how to reinforce everything at home, which made a huge difference. We've been bringing our pups to the Jamboree location for quite a while, and up until the beginning…read moreof this year, we had nothing but positive experiences. Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.

I loved that he doesn't force the dogs to go in the water, but also doesn't just let them avoid it. He noticed my dog was just having fun running AROUND the pool, but wouldn't try and swim, just splash on the shallow part. So he would go and get him and baby-step him into the deep side. It was so refreshing to see! I love how considerate it is. The staff is also all so great and nice. The facility is impressive and well-thought out. I love it. I can't wait to bring my dog back and I'm sure he's looking forward to his next swim session!

He did love the doggy daycare but when I picked him up from Bone Adventure Boarding where he stayed two nights on Sunday evening my dog was very ill. He got two ear infections, paws red itchy, and bloody. He seemed traumatized and very ill. I took him to the vet and they had put him on antibiotics, they gave him steroids and allergy shots and it's still 16 days after and his paws are not healed and my puppy is getting worse and lots and lots of vet bills. It is worth it to pay for a dog sitter.

I always come to this Petsmart for my pet supplies. I came in and was immediately greeted by the nice cashier. He asked who I was shopping for and if needed help with my shopping. When I said yes, he called over someone to help me with my selection of dog food. I was able to get the right food and supplements for my dog. They made sure I had everything I needed before I checked out. I also got my little dog groomed here. Sam was absolutely brilliant with my dog. He was so friendly with her. He went through step by step of what he was going to do. He made me feel a lot better knowing what my dog would be going through when I left. When I picked her up, she literally did not want to leave. Sam did everything, I asked him to do and even more. My dog came out shiny and cleaner than ever. I will definitely be coming back here to get another haircut from Sam. read more

I brought my sweet mini Goldendoodle, Hope, in for training. Hope fell in love with Stephani, her trainer, and I think vice versa. Whenever I would ask Hope if she wanted to go to class she would be up and ready to go by the door. Hope went through all of the classes Petsmart has to offer, specifically because of Stephanie. Stephanie's love for each of her puppy students is evident. She is passionate about what she does, loves puppies so much and you can really see how much she cares. Sunny the dog trainer was horrific! She constantly yelled at my kids and I in such a mean and degrading way - my kids cried all the way home. Not to mention she grabbed my son's arm when he got up to go to the bathroom and yelled, "where do you think you are going!?" I can not believe that she treats people that way!! To all the veterinarians and staff at Newport Hills Animal Hospital, I want to thank you from the…read morebottom of my heart for guiding me through the loss of my beloved Boarder Collie, Zoey. Few vets I've ever been to recognize that treating a terminal dog involves shepherding the pet and the owner through this process. You did so with expert care and advice, patience and understanding, and most importantly compassion. An animal doesn't care how much you know, until they know how much you care. We both knew. To those who may be reading this... My darling Zoey had inoperable cancer. The veterinarians at NHAH gave expert advice, and enough information to enable me to explore every avenue available to save her life. After exhaustive research I came to the same conclusion they did, which was to allow her to pass with dignity rather than being jabbed and poked and ultimately dying in distress on a steel operating table at a time when she was weak and vulnerable. Hospice... Having reached the hospice decision to gather, Zoey went on hospice care. The entire staff was supportive and empathetic in every respect with efforts to provide her comfort (easy prescription refills, washing and shaving to sanitize the area, access to the vets, pamphlets,recommendations, etc). The final phase... The decision for euthanasia at home vs at NHAH was equally as difficult but the veterinary staff made this easy too with numerous options and contact information for at home euthanasia. It may seem counterintuitive to come to the resolution to do this at the clinic rather than at home but I'm so glad I did. After speaking with people who offer this in home service, I just couldn't get comfortable that they would show up in a timely manner, administer the injections properly, or 'dispose' of her according to our wishes after she passed. This, and many other issues, wasn't even a concern at NHAH. I knew I could completely trust the doctors and staff at NHVC to handle everything as I would have wanted if I were Zoey. The staff immediately provided a room with a blanket on the floor for my son and I to say goodbye to our darling dog. They turned down the lights, and gave us as much time as we needed. We turned on soft music in the darkened room. Zoey put her paw on the iPhone and looked up approvingly. She could barely lift her head. After buckets of tears were shed, the doctor came into the room and administered the injections. I was so relieved when he joined us on the floor rather than lift her to the metal table. She was in a very peaceful state. The veterinarian very quietly explaining what was happening. When he was done he quietly slipped out and gave us as much time we needed to be with her and collect ourselves. Who can ever say that euthanasia is a beautiful thing, but at least I can rest in the fact that Zoey passed peacefully thanks to the advice of a veterinary staff who put her needs ahead of useless and painful treatments. Thank you Dr. Whittaker, Dr. Moto, and all the front desk staff. You are a dogs best friend.

What I expected to be a $80-90 trip ended up turning into ~$150. When you go to Sydnee's booking portal online, a large dog bath is quoted to be starting at $75 for a dog within the range of 51-75 pounds. However, upon completion they charged me $100 for the bath. This would fall into the XL dog range, which did not make sense to me at all. I called the shop back to clarify why there was a such a huge discrepancy in price and they answered that my dog's coat is extra thick so they charge more for labor, which was never mentioned on the website. Also, I will post a picture of my golden for you guys to determine if her coat is "extra thick" or not. I think not. I also got a de-shedding treatment for my pup which was quoted to be $15. However, I was charged an extra $15 because of the "extra time"it took to do the de-shedding treatment. The bath time window they give online is 3 hours. I dropped my dog off at 11:55 and picked her up at 3:20 (they called me at 3:04 for pickup). What extra time is there? We were in the allotted time window for the bath and the lady on the phone even said that they started on my dog late so it should have taken even LESS time. At the end of the day, it's only a bit of a difference in price so I didn't give them a hard time, but I wish I had known about the extra fees that they hide in the bill. Just be wary of coming here because they will try to sneak things in! The work they do is average but the price is roughly DOUBLE. P.S. they had the audacity to show me a tip screen after I paid, which added another ~$15 on top of my bill.

I have been a loyal customer for over six years, and until today, Sydnee's was the only groomer I trusted with my dog. Over the years, they consistently took excellent care of her, listened carefully to the haircut I requested, and handled her with patience and gentleness. Aside from one very minor nick on her thigh during a previous appointment, I had always felt comfortable leaving her in their care. Today, I dropped my small dog off at 2:00 p.m. for a full groom. As always, I kept my phone nearby in case she finished early or there was an emergency. At 4:30 p.m., I received a text that she was ready for pickup, and I arrived by 5:00 p.m. As soon as I entered the store, the groomer, Jen, informed me that my dog had been cut on her ear. She explained that my dog had bled but that the bleeding had stopped, and she advised me not to bother the ear because it could bleed again if disturbed. At that point, my dog was still behind the glass in a kennel, so I had no opportunity to examine either her haircut or the injury before paying. Trusting that the injury had been accurately described, I thanked Jen for informing me, paid the full grooming fee, and left a tip. I noticed dark gray and black flakes around her ear and brought my dog to my car to examine her more closely. I immediately realized the injury was much more significant than I had understood. Rather than a small nick, a noticeable piece of the edge of her ear had been cut away. I returned to the store immediately and politely explained that I was concerned because the injury appeared much more serious than it had been described. I also expressed that I wished I had been given the opportunity to see my dog's injury before paying and tipping. Unfortunately, the conversation quickly became defensive. Rather than acknowledging my concerns, Jen repeatedly blamed my dog, stating, "Your dog moves around so much. What do you want me to do? Restrain her? Even the lady who does the baths says your dog moves so much." When I mentioned that this was the worst grooming injury my dog had experienced in six years of coming to Sydnee's, she again responded unproductively that my dog probably gets nicked because she moves so much. Again, apart from one minor nick to the thigh during a previous groom, my dog had always left Sydnee's without injury. What disappointed me was not simply that an accident occurred, but how it was handled afterward. I would have appreciated the opportunity to examine my dog before completing payment and a more accurate description of the extent of the injury. The most disappointing aspect of my interaction with Jen was her choosing to assign blame to a frightened dog. Before I left, Jen told me that she would not groom my dog for her next appointment. I told her that, after this experience, we would not be returning.
