My favourite pet store! It is conveniently located in Newport Beach, close to Fashion Island. I never have an issue with parking when I visit, which is nice when bringing my dog along. My dog loves the foods I got from The Pet Oasis. They also have samples for the dogs to try. The staff are friendly and helpful. They not only carry a variety of raw food brands, but they also have promotions, such as buy X amount, get 1 free and manufacturer's coupons. I definitely recommend anyone who owns a dog to shop here. read more

Walking into the store, it's clear that there has been a lot of thought placed in choosing the items. There is something for everyone here and I quite honestly was really impressed with the collection. Things turned sour quickly for me. There was a nifty pet bed placed above towers of kitten food. As I reached for the bed, I accidentally hit the cat food and about a dozen or so tins fell. I immediately picked them up and apologized out loud. One of the tins looked indented so I offered to the young cashier that I would just buy it. He then went to speak to his coworker and they spoke quietly behind my back. I continued to shop and then the cashier came back to me and in front of everyone else shopping told me that I had to pay for a few more tins he found that looked dented and accused me if it. The dents were mild at worst and it was hard to know if those were from me or from the factory. Clearly they were still fine and doubt they would notice. I said OK no problem I'll buy them. I continued to shop more, but he came back again for the third time and said he went through more of the tins and found more that were barely dented and told me that I had to pay for those as well. At this point, it was pretty petty and embarrassing. I now feel way too nervous to step back into this space. read more

Not only did I find an adorable Chewy Vuitton toy for my little Sparkles, I also found a new bling collar, which I can't wait to put on her, and an adorable Hawaiian style harness. I purchased a dog collar from here and it did not fit so I came back to exchange it for a bigger one (and paid more because the one I was trying to exchange it for was more expensive). That one also did not fit so I came back to return it about 7 days later for a refund on 3/28/2025. The cashier, Drew, did not allow us to return it because he said "we already exchanged it and it's been over 7 days, so the best we can do is store credit".... really? That's funny because the receipt clearly read refund/exchange within 14 days with receipt in unused condition with tags. It was within 14 days, I had the receipt, tags attached, unused. Now all I have is a worthless gift card, which I will never use. What a bait & switch and predatory practice to the consumer. Buyer beware. read more

I make fresh food for my pup but I did see they carry Fromm which is the kibble I used to buy. They have a huge selection of treats including many all natural/single ingredient options which I'm always on the hunt for. I have shopped every month in this store since it opened,and today I tried to return one can of dog food three dollars and change. You would've thought I was pouring boiling water over the staff . Special mention goes JAZMIN. After she looked up my phone number and saw I was regular customer she started to lecture me- well maybe they would take it back this time....I was in no mood for a lecture and she very much wanted to give me one. Worst customer service I have ever received. Extremely rude and unhelpful. The manager Jasmine is who I was attempting to work with. I understand Pet Oasis's return policy and I attempted to return a dog toy that was purchased but not used because when the tags were removed and handed to my dog I noticed the seam was torn on the inside of the toy. I immediately took the toy away from my dog, so there were absolutely no teeth marks on it. I have purchased multiple toys that get destroyed and I would never return something that was destroyed or used in anyway by my dog. This was something that was defective from the beginning. Instead of working with me they refused to help in any way and said that wouldn't return it, offer to replace, or offer a discount on another toy. I spend hundreds of dollars every month in that store, but now they have lost a very loyal customer over the pettiness of a $12.00 dog toy. I would never recommend anyone do business with them. You're better off buying from Kriser's Natural Pet store in Irvine. End of rant! read more
