The girl initially grooming was doing her best to relax the dog (with the chaos of barking and multiple people talking). Accident happen and that's understandable however, the cat ain issue came when one of the men who stepped in did not have patience for the pup what so ever and was irritated with having to pick him up from dangling on the leash. He was also snappy with the girl who was actually being kind and trying to help. Although the groomer I took my dog too was friendly it is a hit or miss with the rest of the grooming team. This location has staff with attitude and lack of professionalism with and in front of clients. While I understand we all have bad days it doesn't excuse taking your frustration out on the animals or the few employees who actually care. I can only imagine how some of these employees treat animals when they are not seen if they were comfortable acting this way in front people who are there to pick up their pets.

I also want to give credit to Flamingo Pet Clinic for helping treat Chewie and taking care of him. Because of their care, Chewie is doing much better now, and that has been a huge relief for us. I have been wanting one and just looking so far. I was just driving down Decatur when I saw a sign, "Pet Planet." The thought immediately crossed my mind, "Jumping spiders." When I entered, I saw so many things that I liked. I asked about spiders and they had them. He showed me a male and female jumping spider. I had a strong feeling that I was going to get one. I asked about enclosures and I was given a tour of the stuff that I had. I picked up a few things and said, "I want the female." Purchasing the spider was such a heart warming experience. I just lost my dog and this was what I needed. As he was bagging my things up, he asked if I had a name in mind. She was a little bit red, so I said her name was Scarlett. I highly recommend Pet Planet. I think that they are knowledgeable and have what you need for your exotic pet.

I'll list the species I can remember: Spotted newts, tarantulas, isopods, axolotls, turtles, sulcata tortoises, asian monitor, electric blue day gecko, amazon tree boa, corn snakes, baby hedgehogs, a very sweet opposum (I've secretly named her Sunshine since she doesn't have a name), ferrets, a tenrec, spectacled amazons. There were a lot more animals than this, but I was so taken with the opposum that I spent most of my time with her and the ferrets. I still highly recommend this store for your more exotic pet needs - lizards, ferrets, hedgehogs, frogs, tarantulas, snakes, etc. I hope this place continued to thrive!!! I could spend a whole day in there happily!!
