But this woman has vetted all the products in her shop carefully while learning everything about each product she is selling and how it can help the dogs live happier and healthier lives. Helping other dog shops that are struggling so that dogs across town don't only have the outlet supply place as their only place to shop for their pets food(cause that place doesn't care if your dog is hurt by the big brands they carry and are constantly being recalled for hurting and killing dogs) She is really doing what she is passionate about and it shows in the work she does giving back to our community and the dogs that need help the most. My daughter is due on July 4th 2024 and her father owns a dog shop across town and the owner of house of paws helped his business in the most heart warming beautiful way possible. Even though she didn't have to and wouldn't get anything in return for the favor. That's the rarest and most beautiful kind of person in my opinion. And although it took him much longer to pay her back for the favor than they originally agreed upon she was very understanding and kind about the situation. The staff in puppytown were super kind and helpful. They let us sit and play with the puppies to better decide which one we wanted. We ended up on a 3 month standard golden doodle, Bailey. She will be 2 in September and she is the most loving and energetic doodle. Thank you PuppyTown LV! The only complaint is the shot records they provided. When I took Bailey into her first vet visit and provided them with the records they said that If she really did get her first round of vaccines it wouldn't have just been written in but had a sticker with a serial number. So I ended up having to pay for more shots. So do be weary of this. But all in all very happy with our doodle.

I also want to give credit to Flamingo Pet Clinic for helping treat Chewie and taking care of him. Because of their care, Chewie is doing much better now, and that has been a huge relief for us. I have been wanting one and just looking so far. I was just driving down Decatur when I saw a sign, "Pet Planet." The thought immediately crossed my mind, "Jumping spiders." When I entered, I saw so many things that I liked. I asked about spiders and they had them. He showed me a male and female jumping spider. I had a strong feeling that I was going to get one. I asked about enclosures and I was given a tour of the stuff that I had. I picked up a few things and said, "I want the female." Purchasing the spider was such a heart warming experience. I just lost my dog and this was what I needed. As he was bagging my things up, he asked if I had a name in mind. She was a little bit red, so I said her name was Scarlett. I highly recommend Pet Planet. I think that they are knowledgeable and have what you need for your exotic pet.

I'll list the species I can remember: Spotted newts, tarantulas, isopods, axolotls, turtles, sulcata tortoises, asian monitor, electric blue day gecko, amazon tree boa, corn snakes, baby hedgehogs, a very sweet opposum (I've secretly named her Sunshine since she doesn't have a name), ferrets, a tenrec, spectacled amazons. There were a lot more animals than this, but I was so taken with the opposum that I spent most of my time with her and the ferrets. I still highly recommend this store for your more exotic pet needs - lizards, ferrets, hedgehogs, frogs, tarantulas, snakes, etc. I hope this place continued to thrive!!! I could spend a whole day in there happily!!
