BEWARE OF GREEDY PETSMART. I just went to buy some Arm and Hammer Tarter Control for dogs. I've been paying $9.99 for a 16 oz bottle. They raised the price to $13.99. That is a 40% PRICE INCREASE!!! What a rip-off!!!!! Here is the kicker, on Amazon it is $3.70 per bottle. I've always felt PetSMart prices were outrageous, but this is unbridled greed. The only thing greedy merchants like PetSmart understand is a loss of business. Almost every time I buy something at PetSmart, when I am in Walmart I see the exact same item for about 50% less. I bought a harness at PetSmart for my 4 lb dog that cost $29.99, and it was made in China. Walmart had the exact same thing, in a different color, for only $8.99. I don't buy my dog's food at PetSMart anymore. It is Science Diet. My veterinarian sells it for 20% less, and he is making a profit at that price. STOP SHOPPING AT PETSMART. They are ripping us off. They are so greedy, they do not deserve our business. JUST SAY NO TO PETSMART. Do your friends a favor, spread the word. read more

PetSmart is a great location for pet products and like Banfield. Having said that the grooming area is awful. They made my elderly mother wait 5 hours to have the dog groomed. They say that 4 hours is the normal amount of time for grooming. I never take 4 hours to get my hair done. After all was said and done it was the worst grooming effort ever. read more

Sue L. At Petsmart today I was noticed a little white poodle was being groomed, This poor dog was so very very nervous. The young woman who was grooming could of cared less. She was horrible!!! She would pull the dog by the ear, jerk the poor dog back into place, she would clip at her lip and the dog would flinch. I went in to talk to the young woman and she just laughed and said the dog was so nervous. There was not one caring gesture being shown to the little dog. Think before you leave your dog, hang out a liitle and see how the dogs are being treated. read more

Went into this Petsmart yesterday to look for a new family pet (cat) for my family and left feeling belittled and ashamed on how the lady in the cat adoption center treated me and my family. I felt right away that she either didn't like us as she had an attitude to her from the start but I didn't say anything and nicely asked if we could look inside. The night before my family lost our beloved grandmother and we were looking for a companion to fill our void and love forever. The lady (wish I got her name) unlocked the door for my mother and I as my husband waited outside with our two month old and 4 year old. Once we got inside she asked "have you ever had a cat before"? My response was yes I've had cats my whole life but it's been a couple years. She then asked "what happened with your previous cats?). Well my family moved here from Wisconsin almost 3 years ago and unfortunately our two cats that I had for 6 years had to go to a new home as the apartment we were going to be moving to did not accept cats. It was very hard time specially for me and my son who bonded with both of them and one of those cats helped me get though an abusive relationship I was once in. I of course kept these things to myself as it's not something I tell everyone. I didn't like this ladies attitude from the start but I was very offended that after I stated we had to get ride of them due to moving she rudely responded "you know pets can travel right?"..... I automatically wanted to break down in tears, I took one look at my mom and she knew that the comment hurt me and then told her that we were finished and would not be adopting from her. My mom was very upset and caught the attention of my husband who then saw me about to cry. I grabbed my son and stepped outside as I didn't want people to see me upset. I just lost my grandmother who was my best friend and now I have a lady bringing back a hard time in my life so I was a mess and couldn't believe what just happened. She never tried to come talk to us or apologize for her rude remark. Tis the season to give and to be kind to one another because you never know what is going on in someone life and their situation but not at this Petsmart. I stayed outside with my son while my mom and husband complained about the lady to the manager but all he said was sorry for her actions. Shame on her for being so rude and judging us because we had to do what was best for our family at the time and found great homes for our cats. We now have been in our house for a year now and just had a child two months ago and will be looking for a life long companion somewhere else. We will never go back there because of this interaction! read more

As a first-time dog owner, I came to this store with lots of admittedly annoying questions that the employees probably have to answer all the time. But all the employees I interacted with were so patient and answered all of my questions thoughtfully! I am closer to another PetSmart location, but the staff here are so much nicer that I will drive out of my way to go to this location! My three-month-old puppy and I are so grateful for this store and its staff! read more

Lucy got her nails trimmed for the first time ever at 9-1/2. The young ladies were very attentive to her and did a fine job with the dremmel. Lucy wasn't traumatized and bounced out around the store with tail wagging. Nice short nails well worth the $14 to have it over and done with in ten minute walkin session. No appointment necessary. read more

We brought our two new puppies to this store #0154 and Melissa was absolutely fabulous in helping us! She told us about the puppy brochure with many offers and coupons. Getting kitty stuff. Always hard to pass up the cats and dogs up for adoption.

We have been taking our dog here since we got him, and we really like this store. We went to Kathy for Intermediate and Advanced classes, and she was so wonderful, and our dog Oliver adored her. Everybody in the store is very friendly. We recently took Oliver here for a grooming, and we just loved everybody in the grooming salon as well. All groomers the were so friendly, and accommodating. Oliver also came out looking like a million bucks, so big thanks to everyone that helped groom him. The only thing I regret is not taking Oliver here in the first place. The drive is 100% worth it for us. read more

This store has the most friendly and knowledgeable employees. This store also seems to have the largest selection of fish out of the 4 in my area. Our puppies love the bargain bin they always have toys just their size. Fun place to shop with your four legged kids! read more

Worst store ever. The odor of the store was horrible. I went in for a Betta fish and some dog items. We went to look and every single betta was sick and dying with fungus growing on their bodies and gills. One betta was so stressed out he was nipping his own fins, so we moved him because he was too close to the other Bettas! Thy are labeled fighting fish for a reason. After moving the fish, a worker then moved the betta back and he continued into a rage after we had just calmed him down. I went to look at the birds. They had very few, and those birds did not look very healthy either. The store floor was gross and needed cleaned. I feel nauseas after going into the store! read more
