I recently moved here out of state and didnt know the area well and needed my dog groomed asap. Their staff were very responsive, professional and sensitive to my dogs needs and quirks. My dogs groomer Niko was also very responsive, professional and didnt hesitate with any follow up questions. I am extremely satisfied with their service and highly recommend. I wanted to wait until we used the services here a couple of times before writing a review. We have been so happy with the grooming here. We have had Rachel grooming our dogs, a Doodle and a gnarly Brussels Griffon. She has done a fantastic job, we would highly recommend her and this salon for your grooming needs. We've tried a couple pet groomers, this by far has been the best experience. plus, it helps that they are EXPERTS on grooming mini schnauzers and we have two! We've had them groomed elsewhere, and they come back looking...okay.. but here is a different story, they come back looking PERFECT! We probably don't groom our schnauzers as much as they should, so I'm guessing they probably aren't the easiest to deal with, but somehow they always come back looking like show dogs! Before today, I never wondered whether or not my dog was still alive after taking him to a groomer. Let me start by saying that the actual grooming work these folks do is fantastic, which is why it's an absolute shame that we will never take our dog there ever again. Today, my wife dropped him off and noticed that the lone employee there had a baby with her (file this under foreshadowing). Typically we'll drop him off and pick him up within the hour (he's little so it doesn't take long). We didn't hear from anyone saying he was ready to be picked up for close to two hours after that, so my wife tried calling and texting to get an update, but she didn't get a response. Since we live nearby, we decided to drive over and get some lunch if it turned out they were busy or behind schedule, and that's how we learned that the door was locked and no one was inside. We immediately (and repeatedly) tried to call and text to see what was going on (we predominantly texted because no one answers the phone by default, but when we weren't getting responses to our texts either, we started getting really concerned. After returning home and trying to figure out if (when?) we should consider calling the police, my wife got a call saying that the one employee's baby ate something plastic and had to be rushed to the ER, and that someone else would be coming by at some point to unlock the door. Now, I understand that emergencies happen and child care is crazy expensive. However, I have some counterpoints: 1) If you're going to have a baby with you at a groomer, keep the baby in a playpen where it can't swallow random pieces of plastic (or worse -- what if this baby had tried to interact with a dog and got bit?). 2) If you have clients who depend on you because their living, breathing animal is supposed to be in your care, reach out and proactively let them know there's been an emergency and that someone is coming by to unlock the door. Dodging calls and texts for an hour is unacceptable. 3) What would have happened if we hadn't driven over there and tried calling? Would anyone have been sent over to unlock the door? Would our dog still be sitting alone in an unfamiliar building? 4) When we were finally able to pick up our dog, he had been groomed, which is great, but I'm confused about the timeline. Why weren't we called when he was groomed? Was he put back into the kennel at the exact moment the (apparently unsupervised) baby ate plastic? What the hell happened? Our dog is okay, and as I mentioned earlier, they did a great job grooming him. However, this is not remotely worth having to hunt down an employee to determine where he was, if we had been groomed, and if he was even okay. Never again. read more

As you can see, their website states that they're open, I booked an appointment online, drove 40 minutes to get here, and then there's a sign on the door stating that they're closed. When I called, the lady argued with me for 5 minutes about how after I received my confirmation they sent me an email stating that my appointment was rejected. Complete BS. Don't waste your time. read more

Had my appointment and received a text she was going to be late. Someone let us inside and no greeting so I didn't know that wasn't our scheduled groomer. Right away we walk my dog to the back as to be seen a dirty back room. Like nothing was cleaned from the night before and we were the opening appointment so it should've been clean. immediately she goes to put my dog in a kennel which also was not cleaned. Blankets thrown everywhere in there as if it wasn't cleaned from the night before. Made no effort to make my dog feel welcomed or greet him even after I mentioned he was nervous but a sweet heart. So I asked if he would be in there for long as the conditions weren't clean or clear. I had an appointment to be groomed not sit in a kennel. She mentioned the grooming window wasn't your dog alones that the groomer works on many dogs at once and your would often be switched between bath to kennel and wait as another gets bathed and kenneled and then if there weren't others back out of the kennel to start other areas of grooming. So your paid window isn't your own while your dog sits in un sanitary kennels. Then she mentions she was not our groomer and that if you wanted your appointment time to be your own there was an extra fee and had to be rescheduled. I took my dog out of the kennel and we left. Very unclean and unprofessional. Will not be returning. read more

Easy, convenient, and affordable when compared to large chains. They did a great job with our big baby.

I have two big, high-energy golden-doodles, and I tend get anxious whenever I get them groomed. I like to know that they are being treated well. When my old groomer stopped accepting big dogs on the weekends, I had to find a new one. My vet recommended Apple's, and I couldn't be happier. Apple made everything about the process easy. My dogs' haircuts look great. And, more importantly, my dogs did not seem anxious when I dropped them off or picked them up. They seemed to have an instant rapport with Apple. This was the easiest and least stressful grooming experience I've had. We will be returning customers. read more
