See blood on my babies ear .

I took my two dogs for grooming on 8/4/24 , Golden Doodle and Golden retriever , retriever was just tor bath and brush out and got him back and looked and smelled like he wasn't even washed . The worse part is that my Golden doodle was in for a hair cut and bath and Raul (Groomer ) let me pick him up with out mentioning that he cut his ear , I didn't notice till I got in the car and noticed blood on his ear . If he would have called and said I'm sorry he was moving while I was trimming him , I wouldn't of had a problem , but the fact that they let me leave thinking I wouldn't notice is baffling. I have been bringing him there since he was a pup and I will never return for grooming again .

Gee PetSmart! Thanks! My dog left your grooming salon looking like she has a terminal illness! Exactly what doggo wanted!

Image of pleco taken present day

Bought a bristle nose pleco and all was going well. Noticed immediately after I introduced her to my tank that my goldfish started acting odd. I noticed a appetite decrease in both and flashing in my goldfish. I didn't think much and the next two days my poor goldfish had gotten ich. I was super confused because I've never had this problem before and I checked the pleco , but she was fine. I went on to look through the images I've taken of my fish to see if there were any Symptoms I missed prior to the purchase and while looking at the images of the pleco I've purchased from PetSmart I realized I was sold an already sick fish.

The shelves are so poorly stocked here almost nothing you are looking for is out. The most important thing that I want to address is that the animals are in horrible shape. Many of them are extremely skinny. The first time I went there there was a day gecko that was basically skin and bone. I told one of the workers and he said "you're right he doesn't look good I'll tell my boss" and the next day he was still on the floor for sale. I went back recently and there was a ball python in the same condition, some of the budgies had overgrown beaks and were clearly respiratory, and the fish tanks were in horrible, disgusting condition. I don't know what it's gonna take for management or corporate to go in and correct these issues but I hope this helps.

Got a puppy trim/grooming for my puppy. They are really nice and all but when we picked up the pup, I was told he's too hyper and they can't really cut much. The trim he got was a bit choppy, uneven and looks like a bowl cut. I was expecting them to be able to do a better job. They weren't able to pull the ear hairs bc he was too hyper. Other than the nail trimming, I can prob do his cut at home. They have the cheapest price for a puppy grooming in the area but you get what you paid for.

I contacted Michael after a recommendation from our vet, who herself had noticed the escalating change in my dog. Michael was a god send! Not only does he really know and love dogs, but he's a great teacher. He was great at helping me understand the way dogs think and taught me what I needed to do in order to better command my dog and give him the boundaries, direction, and leadership he needed to feel more calm and confident. Not only did my dog LOVE our sessions with Michael (he would even wait for him by the door when he knew he had "school"), but he learned very quickly and is now a LOT calmer over all. Situations that were once stressful and even sometimes dangerous for us are now calm and much better controlled, and we can resume normal life activities again. Michael taught me to understand what my dog needs from ME, so that I can get better behavior from and provide a happier and calmer life for HIM. That being said, remember that dog training involves training the owner in order to train the dog, so you also have to put in the work! Just calling Michael and not doing any of the training on your own between sessions will not solve anything! Additionally, Michael is very professional and kind, is quick to respond to questions or problems via text, email, and phone, and is very flexible with his scheduling (we did the private in-home sessions). He takes the time to address all your concerns, and always aims to use safe and positive reinforcement training methods, rather than other trainers I had researched that use methods that include things like shock collars and consequence-based training, which I personally did not prefer to use for my dog if I could avoid it. Calling Michael was the best thing I could have ever done for my dog, and for my family as well. I can't say enough about how great our experience was with Michael! I would highly recommend him!

Cookie was loving but she had a TERRIBLE nipping problem (along with other issues). She had gone through 2 trainers already and nothing was working. Cookie went with Danny for 4 weeks and she came back a whole new dog. Before Danny, cookie was never allowed to roam the house. I am forever grateful for Danny's patience. I was new to the area and sold by the good reviews, as well as a close family member who had used their service for *decades*. My experiences started out great--they have several people who do the visits and I only met one of them, but he did great with my cats and was clearly an experienced pet person. This was never an issue. There were a few bumps, like when I asked for my plants to be watered, and they said that it "wasn't necessary" since I would only be gone for 2 days, but I know my plants, and of course I come back to them wilted. But the cats were fine and they even used the hand-vac to clean up extra litter around the box, so I was fine letting small things like that slide for the sake of a consistent relationship with a small business who did a perfectly fine job for the premium ($43 per "30 minute" visit) which they charge. I was just glad to have consistent and readily available cat care to trust when I went away. I like to think I've always been an easy to deal with client, having super friendly and low-maintenance cats, a clean apartment (leaving the A/C on for days when I'm away in the summer), giving plenty of notice when booking visits, paying well in advance, and leaving all supplies neatly on counter. Over the last several months I'd noticed several inconsistencies with what I'd come home to find after being away--the most disturbing being both the cat's water fountains completely dry after 4 visits in January. This could've been a life or death situation if I didn't come back when I did, but nothing like this had ever happened before with them, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt if this being a one-off and didn't mention it. I always fill water fountains before I leave, and water they take several days to run completely dry--the steam gets lower for a day, and then goes out. This means to be left DRY, the only explanation is that the water fountains were not checked or refilled for several days in a row. After coming back from a weekend trip 2 weeks ago, I noticed several more inconsistencies, things which I've addressed with them before, and decided to send an email mentioning these, and finally deciding to mention the water fountain incident. My intention if this email was a tone of appropriate concern over these building inconsistencies, and really just needing and expecting to receive a reply like "so sorry this happened, we will be sure to be mindful with future visits when addressing the issues you've mentioned for future visits". Instead, they clearly took my comments very personally and replied very quickly saying that I clearly didn't trust them and they were going to mail me my keys and not come back. I was pretty shocked at the lack of professionalism and impulsive reactivity of this response, so I replied with another long email apologizing if I offended them, explaining that the reason I'm mentioning these things was because I DO (did) trust them and just wanted to ensure the same quality of care I've been paying for since the he beginning. With the water issue, the brushed it off saying that it was over a month ago so how were they supposed to remember what happened (this lack of response only validated my concerns). The screwed up thing is that after these defensive and unprofessional responses, I basically ended up begging them to stay, if for no other reason than I had booked them for this coming weekend, paid in advance, and would now have to scramble for last minute coverage or cancel my plans entirely. Additionally, my cats, like most pets take time to get used to new people, and hiring someone new causes them (and me) unnecessary stress. I don't like leaving anything less than a 5 star review for deserving small businesses, and unlike Naomi from Pet Sitter's Club, chose to wait and make sure I was level-headed and not emotionally reacting before posting my experience. All in all, Pet Sitter's Club provides adequate care for a premium fee as long as you don't provide any feedback that can potentially be perceived as criticism, don't expect consistent service, and don't want to feel valued as a customer. Now that they've showed their true colors, it's clear I should not have given Naomi and James my trust for as long as I did.
