5 months after my last review, we took our Giant Schnauzer for a bath and trim, and I was in complete shock when we picked her up. The groomer completely shaved off her face, stating that she was matted all over which was a LIE! Her beard was fine, may have had some matts but not to a point where she needed a full shaven face! She was unrecognizable!! Why is it so hard to find a consistent groomer? I will no longer be taking my dogs here, unfortunately.

Will never be returning to the grooming salon. I get my dog back today after paying an extra fee/being told she was being "difficult" and "not paying attention" to get her home and find that after I requested her head and ears to be trimmed and they were not. Not only this but her ears were not even brushed at all and were oily, as well as her face was crusty. Her legs were also left with random patches of long hair which I had to trim myself. I understand grooming is not an easy job, but she is a 1 year old puppy and is a dog, after all. I just don't understand why it is so difficult to get someone to groom my dog properly. I work for my money and hate wasting it on services that are done poorly.

Took my Bruce in for his summer haircut and they did a wonderful job! Will definitely take him there again.

All the staff enjoys seeing my parrot when I bring him into the store, except for one employee who his colleagues say he has a fear of birds. We saw him walk by on accident a few times and avoiding the bird, which is pretty comical. The store was busy and had a few dogs there due to the free photo op with "Santa". My bird got his picture taken but I never received the email with the photo. I am glad I took a picture with my phone while it was happening or I wouldn't have anything. I might have inputted my email wrong in the iPad but there was no way to double check it. My bird loves looking at the toys and fish at PetSmart. It's always fun to take him for an outing.

One star because i have to! If you need assistance or fish go anywhere else. I left this email for the store:What is happening to this store? More than once in store service is lacking or none available. This "fish" dept is a joke and a land of death. Was there a week ago selection bleak but customer service was terrific. Went back in hoping a fish delivery had taken place only to find empty dirty tanks again filled with dead rotting fish-this time other than being greeted upon entering to store no one came to offer any assistance & though I was in view of cashier, no one was called or assistance offered. This has happened in the past & the Rockwall location is often a better option-but this is my local store & would prefer to shop it....experiences like this remind me why i have chosen chewy rather than the in store experience of which Petsmart was my fave....very disappointed. Ms. Cynthia, in the grooming department is the most patient groomer I've ever had. All my fur babies love her. Grover pulls on his leash to go see her. He's an anxious goldendoodle and she is truly a gem for all the patience and love she gives our boys and girl.

We sent our dog JULY  for their four weeks program and had a wonderful experience with the dog training program. When I attended the initial consultation, I was amazed by how large, clean, and over-the-top the facility was. The talk lasted 30 minutes, and we spoke for almost one 1hour. They were patient, and we explained all our goals, which we wanted our July to be trained on. Tyler worked with July. We received daily "Pupdates" and report cards that included videos, photos, and an overall update on his improvement. I could tell Tyler cared about July as if he was his doggie. We are so proud and thrilled about the progress July has made. TRULY AMAZING! July's confidence built up, and his personality came through by the end of the 4-week board and train program. We can't wait to attend group classes and continue to board and bring him back to see the K-9 Culture team! I Recommend K-9 Culture to anyone looking for training for their doggie. Thank you, K-9 team & Tyler, for all your hard work.

I will never…read moreuse anyone else, and in my opinion, no one else should either unless you enjoy wasting time, money, and your dog's intellect. As a former public school educator, his philosophy was the only one that made common sense to me in how a dog and frankly, how humans learn. If he is your first call, you don't need to make any other calls. If he is your last call, you'll be kicking yourself for not finding him first. He comes to the house, for 15 minute training sessions first with your dog, then with you. Guess what your homework is, 7 minute practice with your dog twice a day tops. Then, you are going into bookstores, etc. with your dog. I had a 50 lb 6 month Pitbull/Rottweiler/Am Bulldog mix. I could NOT physically walk him anymore. A leaf blows by, a squirrel, a child squeals and wants to pet the puppy...I was yanked off my feet (I am a single, 5 foot female weighing around 110-115) Our world was getting smaller and smaller. Breyers changed our lives in a matter of weeks. So now I get to experience all of life with my dog by my side. And I'll close with this story. I got a call on a Monday at 5pm from my Dad coming back from a UT football game. "In Hillsboro at the split, I fell asleep at the wheel, woke up rolling and the car is totaled and I need you to come get me." Two girlfriends came over, one is a super small Asian woman that's never owned a dog and the other is older and has only owned purse-sized dogs. Within 30 seconds, I taught them how to walk Presley, and I got in my car and booked it down I-35. They could not believe how gentlemanly and well behaved Presley was, he waits until they walk through doorways, they stop, he stops, one even took him on the elevator, and prior to training, he wouldn't let me do that! And they didn't have to know or give any commands, just his name. So if you want a dog that understands how to behave when you have guests visit, when you are out walking, when you wanna pop into a bookstore, and who ignores squirrels, has respect and boundaries, and who can think and problem solve for themselves, hire Breyers. Again, I am a CPA and I put my name to Breyers Lane and his company Breyers' Canine Academy, and he is the only dog trainer I will ever endorse.

I dropped the class in September 2025 & began working weekly with Shawn. Shawn was unfamiliar with the sport BUT she's worked with Shelties & knows the gentleness of my breed. Her method of fear free training & positive reinforcement was exactly what I needed. She provided effective training solutions based on my individual needs to build my confidence. Attended my 1st flyball tournament in March 2026 & was amazing!!! I completed the pattern multiple times with a box loader, spectators, & running against a dog in the other lane. The best part is that I'm not afraid of the game but truly enjoy it now. So many people congratulated Mommy on my improvement. My improvement & joy of the sport is all due to working with Shawn & her dog, Ollie. We're so grateful to Shawn for her dedication & commitment to help her clients put their best paw forward. Shawn is truly an amazing trainer & wonderful to work with. We love her!!!! Monte Galvan

For the first hour Lauren provided some good information and things to try with Darwin to help him. After that she said she wanted to bring in her dog for Darwin to be around, I stated I wasn't really comfortable with Darwin being around another dog and I didn't think it was the best idea. Lauren assured us that her dog Mable was extremely friendly and did not care about other dogs (Mable is a pitbull mix that is only 1 year old and about 50 pounds)! As Mable was brought in Darwin was barking and growling (his normal), and Mable was ok but then she started growling and getting aggressive. Her hair was standing up and Lauren said she was just correcting Darwin, so we just kept watching which was a mistake. Mable snapped at Darwin's ribs and bit him. We didn't see he was bleeding until she left. The next day our dog was very lethargic and sore, he couldn't jump up on the couch or walk with out crying out. Lauren did send me Mable's medical records at my request and was made aware that Darwin was bleeding. She did not offer a refund for the training. We already knew our dog has issues to fix, that is why we hired her, now he is even more scared of other dogs. The good news is he is healed up, but we will never use this company again. Please make sure to communicate what you want and you know your dog better than anyone else, do not put them in danger.
