My experience with the grooming service at PetSmart Wellington was beyond frustrating and disappointing. It started when they called to move up my appointment--no big deal. But when I arrived, I was told the groomer wasn't comfortable doing a full groom on my dog, even though she's been groomed there multiple times before. I was fine with adjusting the service and even asked if there were any product recommendations. The groomer said she'd recommend a comb when I picked my dog up. The only thing I requested was that they not shave my dog. When I came back, I was shocked to find they had completely shaved her nose down to the skin--she looked terrible. The original groomer was nowhere to be found, and I was passed off to someone else named Susan, who was actually helpful and showed me a few grooming products. Just as I thought things might be getting back on track, Susan came back to let me know my dog was still matted and they needed to take her back in. I agreed, but when I picked her up the second time, it was obvious the original groomer didn't do a thorough job. After wasting half my day, I took my dog home--and she was still matted. I reached out to speak with a manager, hoping to resolve the issue. All they offered was a free grooming service--why would I come back after this? I asked for a refund multiple times and was told the store manager would call me. It's now been over a month with zero follow-up. Today I called again and had the unfortunate experience of speaking with a manager named Ashley, whose attitude was downright rude and unprofessional. I'm honestly surprised she hasn't been let go based on how she speaks to customers. Bottom line: I would not recommend PetSmart Wellington for grooming--or anything else. Terrible customer service, poor grooming standards, and no accountability. read more

In the past I have been very satisfied with Jessica and how she has taken care of my dog max . Unfortunately this time I did not feel the same . I was only able to book with Brianna this time . Usually I get the Bath & Brush with furminator and the luxury pampering package . Upon arriving to pick up my dog , I was notified that he would not allow anyone to touch his nails , which I understand so I was not charged for it . What happened though was max only received the essential pampering package which does not include the face wash , or nose and paw butter which I wouldn't still have minded paying for the luxury package to receive the other additional services . Just confused me a little because max has been three times before and was able to get his nails taken care of . Also not to mention that underneath one of his paws was missed and not trimmed , he did not smell like he received the cologne spritz , or his breathe did not smell like he had received the breathe freshner or even his teeth brushed which were all supposed to still be included . Was very upset this time just because I know how good of a job was down before especially after this time leaving a generous tip . My mini schnauzer Oscar completed the basic training class. Jesse H. was our trainer. He was knowledgeable and very patient. Oscar is very stubborn but Jesse was able to guide Oscar to follow his lead. His training style and patience produced amazing results for Oscar. Jesse was always soft-spoken.. and positive. Additionally, he is always available to assist with further training issues. I plan on bringing my 4-year-old lab mix to Jesse for much-needed training to aid with reducing his stress. My Cane Corso recently graduated puppy training and will move on to advanced training to eventually become a service dog. The trainer, Jesse, is a fantastic trainer and that man must have some wolf DNA in order to be as skilled and knowledgeable as he is. I 10/10 would recommend for anyone with a pet to come here. Highly recommend obedience classes here. Jesse taught the puppy class we completed. Our puppy was wild and crazy with no discipline when we started. After 6 weeks of the puppy class Brody is a new dog and so much easier to manage and enjoy. Jesse is very patient and knowledgeable....he always asked about weekly challenges and came up with realistic solutions. He is very talented in dog training and I can't recommend him enough! read more

So I've gone here in the past to get my dog groomed as a puppy and the first time they did an awesome job and he was all clean and trimmed and I was happy with my service so I decided to come back back for his second grooming. Big mistake! I took my dog there for a bath and brush which includes bath, blow dry, sanitary trim, and paw pad trimming. When I picked up my dog barely an hour later all they did was bathe and blow dry him his sanitary areas were not trimmed so when I took him outside to go potty he got feces stuck all over his hindquarters and his paw pads are still covered with fur! I called to complain to the manager and he told me that what I was telling him doesn't add up and that I got what I paid for which was 50$ by the way and then placed me on hold which I then sat there for 10 min with the phone just continuously ringing and then the phone hung up! The service I received was none other than laziness and excuses. read more

I came here a lot when I was living in West Palm Beach and I had to make a stop here today since it was on the way. It's the pet store that has basically anything for your "kid". They even have dog training classes to teach your dog the basic commands of sit, no pulling on a leash, and stay. There are some other ones, but I can't think what they are off hand. The customer service is the usual. It always seems like they don't have enough registers open on the weekends. Sometimes carrying a heavy bag of food can be a burden for someone that doesn't have a cart and they have to wait for 5 or 6 people to get done with their transactions. The grooming salon is excellent. They do a great job with trimming Boomer's nails. He doesn't like it, but they are patient with him when they do it. Super plus! read more

Not necessarily the store's fault might be the area more so but I cannot believe how much theft happened and things were noticeably stollen in that store. I went in looking for cat toys and multiple toys were missing out of their packaging or pieces missing to it. Very sad and I told employee and she just laughed and said "okay". Its amazing how consistent a business can be in regard to being inept. On 3 occasions i took my dog in for grooming and the last time was as of today. I booked on line for grooming at 7am since my dog is stressed going into businesses or alot of people and i get there and have to wait since the groomer, who was scheduled for 7am didnt arrive. Thats the 3rd time its happened. Then as i am waiting i am told i have only been booked for a bath and not for grooming and that they cant take me. This is the 3rd time the groomer was late, today was 10 minutes and other times up to 30 minutes. When you have a stressed out dog, waiting is a killer. Needless to say not a single person of management caliber comes by and apologies or tries to make it right. Needless to say, 3 strikes and your out and i wont be doing business again with them. read more

My Maltese came home greasy and full of perfume. They shaved all her hair off without any shape. Her beard uneven. I complained to the salon manager and was convinced to bring her back the next weekend for the manager to groom her personally. When she came home she was completely out of character she was extremely aggressive and did not want to be held. I took her to the vet - and she thought she was shaken and bruised much like some one took their anger out on a little 4 pound puppy... I will never bring her back to this salon. Grooming department the worst! Being new to the area I brought my dog in several times for shampoo and cut. Each time giving them same instructions and each time getting very different and poor results. They would always try to correct the bad haircut at which point that to became regular. read more

Pet owner beware!!! I placed an online order and they could not sort it out by themselves. I called several times, my husband went in person TWICE to this very store with the prescription in hand and they still did no give him the medicated food my pet needed. They never gave my husband any other option (aka show the prescription to customer service and go from there to buy it straight from the store). Meanwhile, they charged my card twice for an order they never fulfilled. After one entire week trying hard to sort it all out, I called the main customer service number again and they told me that my husband could have shown the prescription to the cashier and she would have directed him to go to customer service and get the food right away. Of course I called the local store and asked them why they don't explain the options we have...if my husband went twice to the store with the prescription in hand???? They are not very smart at all...they ended up blaming my husband because they would never sent him away twice if he had the prescription when he went to the store but my husband went to the store specifically to show them the prescription. They are so irresponsible. My poor cat ended up never getting the food. Please go to Petco online or some other serious business. Your sick pet deserves way better service than this. I used to go there,but when they try to charge The treatment for my dog for anal glands that was swollen about $700 and when I said I'm going to think about it the nurse when into the other room and came back after one minute with a completely different price for $200. I felt like I was in the market buying fruits and vegetables , I was only trying to take care of my dog and they look at it as a way to take it-vantage of a dog owners weakness in a moment of despair. I recently moved to West Palm Beach and was looking for someone to groom my cat. I had used a PetSmart in Ohio so I figured I would give them a try. Melanie went above and beyond to make me, and my cat, feel comfortable. My cat has terrible allergies which are greatly improved if she has her coat shaved, of course, she doesn't always like the process. Just brought my dog in to get nails trimmed and ground and had a very bad experience. I stopped going to petco after they started making me leave my dog alone. I was just told to leave the room here and then when they called me back I was told that they could not finish because my dog tried to bite them. The man behind the counter did my dog's nails last time while I was in the room and said that she was very well behaved. The woman had a bad attitude and I have a feeling that is why my dog got uneasy. I will have to find a new place to get my dog's nails done now because the woman was so rude. first visit one of my four dogs was not bathed, nails trimmed or ears cleaned. another was bleeding feom being trimmed. today i had an appointment. after four hours in kennels, only one was bathed and i was told the others were "too stressed" for geooming. my petd have been getting baths at geoomers rvery six weeks for years!!! wtf is wrong with this place. call placed to the state of florida sept of business &professional regs and their corporate offices. will be showing bloddy pictures and vet bills to both the state and district manager. read more

I have to give this location 4 stars! It was the end of the night and the store was clean and the employees were nice. I walked in a couple of minutes before the store was closing & asked to get a couple things that I needed for my kitty. The cashier, Jonathon, kindly allowed me to go ahead and quickly grab what I needed. Now this may not seem like a big deal, but I have arrived to stores and seen employees locking the doors 5-10 minutes prior to their posted closing time. I didn't expect to arrive with that little amount of time, but I do think it is acceptable to enter a store to grab something(s) during their posted business hours. I wasn't familiar with this location and I am forever grateful I was allowed to get what I needed prior to them closing. I don't expect them to always be that accommodating, so I will come earlier next time. I also appreciate that the store was well stocked and clean at the end of the day. Today, on PetSmart grooming, Wednesday August 10 @5:45. I just saw the most horrible situation in the grooming section. I poor little, terrified white dog (think it was a shitzu). N this woman was pulling the hair from the ears dog with big tweezers. Dog was screaming, crying n twisting his/her neck in pain. The woman squeeze his/her paw to make sure he or she won't move. N the guy next to her laughing. This is ridiculous. How the government accept this cruelty just to make the dog "pretty". Here in USA where every little tiny thing is considerate abuse. People out your word out there, spread the word to make sure this places call "grooming" are better supervise. And owner please be aware of the abuse your pet is going to go through just because,,,, read more
