Betty was AMAZING! Let me say that one more time - Betty was AMAZING!!!! I have been to an obscene amount of groomers trying to find the perfect one for my fur baby. I messaged the salon on yelp and Betty responded within minutes. She gave me a price quote and that was the exact amount she charged. No hidden fees, no long hair fees, no anything. Amazing prices by the way! Especially for the great work she does! When we got to the salon we saw all of the pictures on the wall of all of the stars Betty had the pleasure of working with while she was grooming in Beverly Hills, CA. Beyond impressed. She has her two lovely doggies in the front of the shop which I love! If the shop is good enough for her babies then it is definitely good enough for mine. She took her time to get my Yorkie comfortable with her before she brought him in the back. No constant barking dogs, no dirty dog odor when you walk in. The salon is very clean! I told her to cut his hair short and she actually did! My dog has never had such a great haircut! Not one uneven spot, he smelled amazing as well. He is fussy about his feet so in order for her not to stress him out too much she only cut the nails that really needed to be cut. She truly took care of my baby as if he were her own. When he was ready to be picked up I received a text message and a phone call which was awesome because I hardly ever answer my phone. I am so mad I didn't take pictures when I picked him up but I definitely will the next time. Also, every groomer I have ever gone to I had to bring my dog some water because he was always crazy thirsty from being at the groomer for hours and hours. This did not take long at all and he did not even need any water! I know it sounds like such a small thing buttttt if you are a mother of fur babies you know what I mean! Betty is by far the best who has taken care of my fur babies. My 2 dogs that I take to her now love her and she handles them both as if they were hers. This was the worst haircut my dog has ever received after she promised to have him done in 1 1/2 hours due to him getting anxiety and my busy schedule this was very important to me and she made these promises before I scheduled the appointment. I tried 3 other local groomers before finding Betty. I am sooo grateful for this pet spa! My dogs are so happy! They are pampered with skill, professionalism and love. They have never looked better or had so much attention paid to everything I asked. They offer organic washes, shampoos for sensitive skin. They even bring a vet dentist in once a month to have their teeth cleaned if you want it done. This was our first time taking our dog Yoshi to this groomers as our usual groomer was booked through the end of this week. He was dropped off at 10am with no issue. I had my usual errands to run, there was no time given to me or an estimate as to when he would be ready. All previous groomers I've been to is usually a whole day affair. I got my nails done, did grocery shopping and by the time I looked at my phone at 2pm, I had been inundated with calls and texts and threats that if he didn't get picked up I was going to be charged an additional $50 late fee. Jennifer in no way, shape, or form addressed this to me at the time of drop-off nor on the phone to my mother when the appointment was booked. She exclaimed that "We are NOT a daycare service!!" I was so completely caught off guard, I picked Yoshi up at 3pm (they close at 5pm), and felt like I was in the principals office back in elementary school. I did not say anything, just said I'm picking up Yoshi. Jennifer proceeds to go into an entire lecture at how every place she's ever worked at, there is always a 1 hour policy. I told her every groomer I've been to, that is never a thing. She then goes into to say that leaving the dog in a crate like that is CRUELTY and its animal ABUSE, that past 3 hours this becomes a dog day care, that people who do that are abusive and cruel to animals. As she's lecturing, my dog is crying in the back, hearing my voice, and she continues. I simply told her, I wish you told me this when I brought him here, I would've been way more on alert had I known you had a policy. She proceeds to yell and point at this tiny paper taped to the corner of the place. I told her, I also run a business and do not expect my customers to read everything around my store, communication is key and not only was there ZERO communication, I was guilted and lectured and told repeatedly that "This is NOT a daycare (via text, call, and in-person). I had to pay over $100 for my small poodle because of these fees (Was originally told $65). I finally told her she has talked enough, can you please just let me pay and get my dog. She still wanted to lecture, and I finally had to stop her while I'm trying to pay and tell her please stop talking. She was so slow to give me my dog, it was so weird and awkward that I literally had to go in the back and get him out of the crate myself as she has her own personal dog tied on a leash, running around the place. Worst experience I've ever had with a groomer, I don't ever leave these kinds of reviews, but Jennifer was completely out of line and knows zilch about customer service. All you had to do was communicate that to us from the start, it was our first time there, not continually shame us, make us feel like we were these awful dog owners, plus charging us a fortune on top of it - NOT freakin cool. read more

I was in search of a new grooming salon for my dog and I'm so happy I found Betty and her salon. I used to live in the Jupiter area and after moving to the Wellington area, was so scared to try a new groomer, that I kept taking my pup all the way to Jupiter. I messaged a few people on Yelp and Betty struck me as the most sincere. She told me up front what the cost was and that she didn't do certain things(basically, just did things a different way). When I arrived, she took the time to ask me what I wanted as far as a cut and groom. She even noticed right away that my pup had some irritation by his tail which had come from some flea bites. She also noticed the draining from his eyes, which is normal with my pup's breed (shihtzu/yorkie mix). I felt very confident in the fact that she noticed these things. It was about caring for my pup, not the money. You can tell Betty takes pride in her work and truly cares about animals. That is what makes or breaks a groomer for me. Betty, the original owner, is no longer involved or much less involved. If she is there, count on great results. Many dog groomers in the area can do a decent job on my mini Australian Shepherd, Oliver J.. Betty does a great grooming on him over and over and over. It amazes me how all I have to say is, "Betty, same as last time," and she has pictures or videos or something that reproduces the cut the same as last time. Betty once told me that every owner says their dog is the cutest dog and every owner is right! She's right, and she treats every dog that way. I really appreciate how she makes sure that my dog comes back to me as the cutest dog he is. I've been taking Oliver J. I was impressed from the start! I must admit that it isn't easy for me to articulate my preferences of how Maya, my baby Yorkie, should look. She is a beautiful little girl with a spunky personality.
